Excerpts from Predictions, Promises or Wishful Thinking   Today's world is changing fast. Traditional certainties are fading while threats of turmoil and terror fill our news. But, in the midst of chaos and confusion, our God offers His peace and victory. You may have seen this email list of "ten predictions that are true!"  Each point is true, if seen through the filter of God's Truth. But it only applies to those who trust Him, live by His Spirit and follow His way:                   Top 10 Predictions for 2010        1. The Bible will still have all the answers.        2. Prayer will still be the most powerful thing on Earth.        3. The Holy Spirit will still move.        4. God will still honor the praises of His people.        5. There will still be God-anointed preaching.        6. There will still be singing of praise to God.        7. God will still pour out blessings upon His people.        8. There will still be room at the Cross.        9. Jesus will still love you.      10. Jesus will still save the lost when they come to Him.   Isn't It Great To Remember Who Is Really In Control, and that; "the Word of the Lord endures forever"? 1 Peter 1:25   "Pilate said to Him, 'Are You not speaking to me? Do You not know that I have power to crucify You, and power to release You?” "Jesus answered, 'You could have no power at all against Me unless it had been given you from above." John 19:10-11   "The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect. The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance." Psalm 33:10-12   "I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are on the ground, by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and have given it to whom it seemed proper to Me. And now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, My servant; and the beasts of the field I have also given him to serve him. So all nations shall serve him..." Jeremiah 27:5-7   "The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble." Proverbs 16:4   "But My people would not heed My voice, and Israel would have none of Me.
