Democrats Bury ‘Community Transformation’ Plans in Health Care Bill: "In the bill, the Affordable Health Choices Act, community transformation plans would be carried out using federal money and be overseen by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The CDC would distribute the money as well as coordinate the various state, local, and 'community' entities responsible for carrying out the plans.
"...both state and local governments are eligible for the grants, as are 'national networks of community-based organizations'.... The transformation plans must include 'activities' for all ages, beginning in public schools, which focus on eating healthy food, adequate amounts of physical activity....'

Communism… Alive and Well? "These ideas incorporate all inclusive social engineering, whereby all ideas, lifestyles, moral or immoral behaviors have equal merit, equal status, and all doctrines of individualism are set aside in favor of a supposed collective interest. Like in the workplace, this concept requires a central power for collection and distribution of resources. A power to determine what is fair for all, collect the resources necessary to provide that equality, and distribute it accordingly.
"In the case of Communism, that central power is the government. Anyone who has ever worked in a union job can tell you, the result of this form of equality is the unlimited reduction in productivity and resources. People with low ambition and poor work habits are elevated to equal status with those who carry the lion’s share of the load. ... These two Communist goals -- "11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind" and "28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools..." -- are already replacing Biblical hope with hope in human effort and a world government.
Goal 41-- "Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents...." -- have replaced Biblical morality with amoral education that devalues life. Here is one of the results:

Clinton gave it the big 'push.' Over the next several years 100,000 COPS were hired in cities and towns across America. (A year later the Domestic Violence Act was introduced across the world in much the same pattern, in GB and the US on the same day, and expanded on the POP philosophy). Obama's Ideological Father: "Gramsci... organized the Italian Communist party in 1921.... Since this was four years after the Russian Revolution, Gramsci assumed Italians would welcome a Bolshevik convulsion of their own. But it didn’t happen.... A host of mostly liberal scholars, with the help of the Clinton Administration, has been seeking to reverse the decline of civic engagement in the United States. George W. Bush Executive Order 13397 - Responsibilities of the Department of Homeland Security With Respect to Faith-Based and Community Initiatives: "By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, and in order to help the Federal Government coordinate a national effort to expand opportunities for faith-based and other community organizations and to strengthen their capacity to better meet America's social and community needs, it is hereby ordered as follows: Section 1. Establishment of a Center for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives at the Department of Homeland Security. ...
"Sec. 2. Purpose of Center. The purpose of the Center shall be to coordinate agency efforts to eliminate regulatory, contracting, and other programmatic obstacles to the participation of faith-based and other community organizations in the provision of social and community services."
That may sound good, but the federal government will still control and assess what churches and faith-based partners can say and do. "Joint use has occurred where folks have engaged with education and understand the idea that the whole can be greater than the sum of the parts.... We need to rethink education and decide whether we're being responsive to new models...."
Since the "partnerships" in this evolving system are usually hierarchical, they may look like "local control" through local partnerships, but in reality the flow of money forces compliance with state, federal and international standards and policies. Lewis Builds Social Infrastructure Into Master Planned Communities: "...many people seek out communities with a strong social infrastructure that gives them a sense of pride and engagement in their community.... The third thing we try to do involves partnerships and programs. We try to work with the cities and the nonprofits, such as YMCAs or school districts, to determine what programs we can bring to our residents to help them live healthier lifestyles....
"...schools need to be the center of the community. Schools are not just for families with children. Schools are clearly the best place to make a difference for those families, but joint-use gyms, community centers, and libraries can benefit everybody in the community. So all of our planning efforts start with the school...."
