GOP candidates are allowed occasionally to express pro-morality views as throwaway lines – at least during the primary season. What infuriates the Republican elite is that Santorum says them with conviction.... Santorum stands accused of promising to 'revitalize religious communities and families.' ...

Wisconsin Democrats this year tried unsuccessfully to ram through an election law that would have given
'community organizers' (read: ACORN and its successors) access to the
driver's license database, make absentee ballot requests permanent,
and have ballots mailed out automatically in future elections. This
is a perfect recipe for voter fraud....In Milwaukee, a police inquiry
found that about 5,000 more votes were counted in the city in 2004
than the number of recorded votes cast."

An economic study published in a scholarly journal in 2004 concluded that the Roosevelt administration's policies prolonged the Great Depression by several years. But few people read economic studies.

More than one local business owner has been notified by the DNC that they would not be getting any of their business since they were not unionized."
Now Democrats want Obama off ballot: "The newest poll...says one-third of Democrats and independents who lean to the left side of the field are unhappy with Barack Obama as the party's standard-bearer and are looking for some new faces to enter the race...The largest camp, nearly 44 percent, said Obama should be challenged by Hillary Clinton.... In what could be another omen for Obama, his support faltered badly among Hispanics, where nearly 41 percent said they wanted another choice on the Democratic side."
Thousands of fraud cases just 'tip of iceberg.' New warning of 'total breakdown in cohesion of American society' : "A group that monitors elections in Minnesota and roots out fraudulent votes is warning ballot fraud is on the rise across the nation, and if unchecked, the ultimate consequences would be an electorate that simply doesn't believe the system works and refuses to participate.... The group identified a wide range of illegal votes, including incapacitated patients at a mental health home...and are not eligible to vote [and] 'upwards of 2,800 ineligible felons believed to have unlawfully voted in Minnesota's 2008 general election.'... Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., may not have won, although he has been casting votes from his U.S. Senate seat ever since.

Nevada voting machines automatically checking Harry Reid's name: "Since early voting started, there have been credible reports that voting machines in Clark County, Nevada are automatically checking Harry Reid's name on the ballot: Voter Joyce Ferrara said when they went to vote for Republican Sharron Angle, her Democratic opponent, Sen. Harry Reid's name was already checked.... She said her husband and several others voting at the same time all had the same thing happen...

Cities Weigh Letting Noncitizens Vote: "Like his neighbors, Claude Rwaganje pays taxes on his income and taxes on his cars. His children have gone to Portland's public schools. He's interested in the workings of Maine's largest city, which he has called home for 13 years. "E-mail requests for comment sent to the co-directors, other Board of Elections officials and its spokesman were not returned..... Sen. Schumer said: "Put these ballots on the next plane to Afghanistan. These soldiers sacrifice their lives to protect our freedoms, they should never, ever be denied their right to vote. I wrote and passed this law so our brave men and women overseas would no longer be disenfranchised and there is absolutely no excuse for failing to get this done."
The Left’s Voter Fraud Whitewash: "Faced with multiple reports of early voting irregularities and election shenanigans across the country, left-wing groups are playing dumb, deaf and blind. Voter fraud? What voter fraud?
"More cunningly, these organizations are seeking to marginalize complaints about election integrity by casting citizen watchdog efforts as racist' scare tactics.'.... "Weiser also turned up in a very similar story minimizing voter fraud and voter registration fraud that was published Tuesday by government-sponsored National Public Radio. The NPR report asserted that 'most election experts' believe that fears of voter fraud are 'overblown.' No word on how many 'experts' they surveyed (besides Weiser) to report such a conclusion, which flies in the face of dozens of felony voter fraud convictions across the country."

Forget New Black Panthers, feds think whites intimidate Nightsticks? "President Obama's Department of Justice, the same agency that stunningly dismissed most counts against baton-waving New Black Panthers who confronted Philadelphia voters in front of a polling place in 2008, now is jumping into the investigation of allegations that members of the 'white middle class' intimidated minority voters in Harris County, Texas, by 'hovering.'...
"Because of concerns over the integrity of elections, several groups researched the voting procedures and records. Among the results was that of the 25,000 voter registrations submitted by a group called Houston Votes, headed by a man who also worked for the Service Employees International Union [SEIU], only 1,793 actually were valid. Given that evidence, when early voting in the county opened this week, there were a number of teams that went into some of the suspect areas to monitor the voting."
Hacked Voting System Stored Accessible Password: "Washington, DC, began testing its internet voting system last Tuesday in advance of the November elections. The system, paid for in part with a $300,000 federal grant, is designed to let overseas military and civilian voters cast ballots quickly, instead of relying on the postal system to deliver their votes in a timely manner. But within 36 hours of the system going live, Halderman’s team found and exploited a shell-injection vulnerability that 'gave us almost total control of the server software, including the ability to change votes and reveal voters’ secret ballots.'....The hack left lots of traces that an intrusion detection system should have caught."
