Christians Celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ: Christians across the world are celebrating the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead 2,000 years ago, a claim so outrageously bold that some nonbelievers wonder how anyone could believe it. Yet billions of Christians have based their lives on it for 20 centuries.

    Breitbart News has reported a series on three core Christian beliefs. First is the Christmas story of God becoming man around 4 B.C. as Jesus of Nazareth, born in Bethlehem in Israel, and living a perfect life as a mortal man.

    Second is the Good Friday story of Jesus as “the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29).... Third is Easter, that Jesus Christ was bodily resurrected on the third day from his execution, emerged from the grave, and spent weeks with his disciples before ascending into heaven.

He Has Been Raised; He Is Not Here: When the sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary, the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go and anoint him. Very early when the sun had risen, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb. They were saying to one another, "Who will roll back the stone for us from the entrance to the tomb?”

    When they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled back... On entering the tomb they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a white robe...

   He said to them, “Do not be amazed! You seek Jesus of Nazareth, the crucified. He has been raised; he is not here. Behold the place where they laid him. But go and tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him, as he told you.’”

Senate confirms Trump’s 20th federal judge: Despite the attempted filibusters, Mr. Trump has had 20 federal judges confirmed, outpacing President Obama, who only had 14 judges confirmed during his first year. That record has thrilled conservatives, who say Mr. Trump is building an army of young conservative-leaning judges who will fill the federal bench for years. ...

     “One of the greatest and most lasting successes of President Trump’s first year was appointing a record number of highly-qualified judicial nominees,” said Carrie Severino, the group’s chief counsel. “Thank you, President Trump and Senator McConnell for your important work on confirming outstanding judicial nominees....”

US Slashes United Nations' Budget By $285 Million Following "Stunning" Jerusalem Rebuke: The United States announced a $285 million cut in the United Nations' "bloated" budget for next year, negotiated by UN Ambassador Nikki Haley. (Thank God!)

FedEx delivers thanks to Trump for tax cut: “I’m even more thankful than I was then, in the ’80s, when Ronald Reagan was around,” Farah said. “...I thought we’d never see his likes again. ... Trump is a man of action. He’s a man of courage, he cannot be deterred, he doesn’t care what people say about him.” ...

     We have not seen anything like this in our lifetimes,” Farah told Jones. “... Reagan was the guy, the personality, who took me from the far left to being a constitutional, limited government kind of guy. That’s what Reagan did for me, but what Trump is doing in his first year, the accomplishments are greater; they’re more stunning.

‘It is Time to Officially Recognize Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel,’ Trump Declares: “Jerusalem is the capital the Jewish people established in ancient times,” Trump said. “Today Jerusalem is the seat of Israel’s government.” ... This is nothing more than a recognition of reality. It is also the right thing to do,” he stated. “That is why, consistent with the Jerusalem Embassy Act, I am also directing the State Department to begin preparations to move the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

US to Aid Christian Militias, Refugees Directly: In a major victory for the defense of Christians in the Middle East, Congress recently passed a bill that calls for direct aid to the Christian units operating in the Nineveh Plains. Up to now, the Christian forces and the Kurdish Peshmerga have both faced chronic shortages in equipment and funding, as most aid was sent to Iraq’s central government.

      In October, U.S. Vice President Mike Pence announced that relief funds sent to the United Nations would be diverted to USAID programs to assist persecuted Christians directly. “Christianity is under unprecedented assault in those ancient lands where it first grew,Pence said. ... But tonight, I came to tell you: Help is on the way.” See Victory in Christ

The Light of The World - Standing Strong Through the Storm: “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.” - Matthew 5:14-15

 Syrian Thanks Our President, Says Assad Has Murdered Thousands: This was one of the worst chemical bombings in Syria that caused a northern rebel-held area into a toxin zone last Tuesday, stirring worldwide outrage over Assad’s lack of accountability in his country’s six-year civil war. ... This Syrian citizen is thanking God and President Trump for finally listening to them. See  Standing Firm!

Prison Guard Has Visions of Jesus and Sets Captive Pastors Free: Two pastors conducting a Bible study for new believers in an underground Middle East church were beaten, arrested by police, and taken to a secret jail. ... "They tied our hands up through the hole of a steel bar which forced us into a bent position while they beat us."...
      They prayed, "If we have done any sin and iniquities, forgive us and purify us by your precious blood and save us from this situation." The pastors repeated continuously, "The blood of Jesus is our victory!"...  "I believe in Jesus Christ who was crucified and died for me on the cross of Calvary and rose from the dead.... "I believe in Him as my Savior and Lord with my whole heart and soul." So the jailer was baptized, along with the two new believers involved in the initial arrest.  See Taking a Stand

Hailing Haley: I was gratified to read “Haley at Turtle Bay” regarding US Ambassador to the United Nations (and) Nikki Haley’s remarks on attitudes toward Israel in the UN Security Council. After so much Trump bashing in your newspaper, maybe credit should be given to the American president for selecting such a forceful and correct-thinking individual to express his positive views of Israel. Trump tells U.S. troops ‘justice will prevail’ in fight against Islamic terrorists: America and its allies will defeat you,” Mr. Trump said at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, headquarters of U.S. Central Command. “Freedom, security and justice will prevail.” The new commander in chief uttered the phrase “radical Islamic” terrorists or terrorism three times in his brief speech. The term was forbidden by his predecessor, President Obama.

Faith.  U.S. church not ready for what's coming: “Following Christ is not an easy road,” said McCandless. “It’s a blessed road, but it’s not an easy road.... In America, he said, “because we are blessed to worship with such freedom and to really walk with Christ, there’s no gateway at the beginning where you say, ‘I’m going to be persecuted if I follow Christ.'” “But in other parts of the world...you know you’re going to face persecution right off the bat,” he said.

War. Did You Know That The U.S. Entered World War I On April 6, 1917 And Trump Just Start World War III On April 6, 2017?  Did World War III begin on April 6th, 2017? After Donald Trump fired 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles into Syria on Thursday night, millions of Americans were cheering, but the cheering isn’t going to last for long if a new world war erupts. What is amazing to me is that this happened on the 100th anniversary of the United States entry into World War I. The U.S. officially entered that war on April 6th, 1917, and now 100 years later to the day Donald Trump has essentially declared war on Syria.

The Little Known Miracle that Saved the Pilgrims: They... thank[ed] God for... Thanksgiving." ...1623 brought a drought that threatened to wipe out all the crops.... Governor William Bradford turned to his people and he said, "We need to get on our knees and have to ask God what we've done wrong." The settlers... began to pray – 90 degrees, not a cloud in the sky. ... Four o'clock: a little cloud appeared right above the plantation. And by 6 o'clock it began to rain." See Standing Firm!

The real Thanksgiving: ...the real Thanksgiving, as it was founded, is a day set aside for public thanksgiving and prayer to God!

     When George Washington proclaimed the first Thanksgiving in 1789, he did it at the request of both houses of Congress. That's because they had a lot to be thankful for after going through war to create a unique and great nation. And there was no confusion who to thank for our freedom. In his proclamation, Washington wrote that the day will be set aside in "the service of that great and glorious Being who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be."

John 14:6.  Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

John 15:18.  “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you.

Matthew 28:18.  And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.”

1 Peter 3:15.  "...always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame. For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God’s will, than for doing evil.
….our brothers and sisters are facing severe persecution in many parts of the world. Beatings, starvation, beheadings, and burned homes & churches are everyday life for them. I want to ask you to stand in prayer for them because they have placed everything on the line for faith in Jesus. They are family and we are called to support each other.

Muslims in Lebanon turn to Jesus Christ as they minister to Syrian refugees: Many Muslims in Lebanon turned to Christ as they discovered His presence despite the dangers that face them. ...A female ministry worker started five prayer groups for women.... “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." Galatians 2:20

"Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." 1 Corinthians 15:57-58

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." Galatians 2:20

“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are saved and among those who are perishing. To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life." 2 Corinthians 2:14-16

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. John 16:33

"Lord, it is nothing [not too hard] for You to help, whether with many or with those who have no power; help us, O Lord our God, for we rest on You.”  2 Chronicles 14:11

Blessed are You, Lord God of Israel, our Father, forever and ever.
Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power and the glory, the victory and the majesty;
For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours;
Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and You are exalted as head over all.
Both riches and honor come from You, and You reign over all.
In Your hand is power and might;
In Your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all."
1 Chronicles 29:10-12

“Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
      "For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.  For he who has died has been freed from sin. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.  For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 6:4-11

Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves... [W]hen they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you." Matthew 10:16, 19-20

If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

     "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? ... Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:31-39

"Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage." Hebrews 2:14-15

“For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world— our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?" 1 John 5:3-5

“Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: 'Death is swallowed up in victory.
     "'O  Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?'
The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.  But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."
1 Corinthians 15:51

“I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, 'Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." Revelation 12:10-11

"And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death,  nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
      "Then  He who sat on the throne said, 'Behold, I make all things new.' And He said to me, “Write, for  these words are true and faithful. And He said to me, 'It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son."
Revelation 21:4

"Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it."

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24

No more need fear, and no more need doubting,

No more need pride control in my life.

I may be free from all condemnation,

I can have victory now in the strife.

I take the life of victory,

Not I, but Christ Himself in me;

He conquers now, He sets me free;

I take, He gives—the victory.
