Muammar Gaddafi calls for jihad on Swiss after ban on building minarets: "Muammar Gaddafi has appealed for jihad against Switzerland, long regarded as one of the most peaceful nations in the world.... 'Any Muslim in any part of the world who works with Switzerland is an apostate, is against (the Prophet) Muhammad, God and the Koran,' Colonel Gaddafi said..."

5 Muslim soldiers arrested in S.C.: "Five Muslim soldiers were arrested for allegedly trying to poison the food supply at Fort Jackson in South Carolina, according to CBN News. The men, arrested just before Christmas, were part of the Arabic Translation program at the base."

Biden seeks test ban and end to all U.S. nukes: "The Obama administration will move ahead with Senate ratification of a treaty banning nuclear tests that was voted down by Republicans morereaching a new Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START) with Russia than a decade ago.... Paying Tribute to Terror: "It has been widely reported, most recently by Al-Jazeera, that the Obama administration and the British government have been contemplating paying off 'moderate' elements of the Taliban in Afghanistan – to the tune of perhaps one billion dollars – as a means of pacifying resistance in that troubled nation.... Al-Qaida likely to attempt attack: "The terrorist organization is deploying operatives to the United States to carry out new attacks from inside the country, including 'clean' recruits with a negligible trail of terrorist contacts.'... 'The biggest threat is not so much that we face an attack like 9/11. Iran will deliver telling blow to global powers on Feb. 11: "Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says the nation will deliver a harsh blow to the 'global arrogance' on this year's anniversary of the Islamic Revolution. 'The Islamic Revolution opened a window to liberty for the human race, which was trapped in the dead ends of materialism,' Ahmadinejad said. ...as the 31st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution approaches."

Obama inciting Russian missile expansion? Switzerland to hold referendum on lawyers for animals : The country recently changed its constitution to ensure the protection of the "dignity" of plant life and passed a law last year guaranteeing rights for all creatures - from guinea pigs to goldfish. If Swiss voters approve the referendum in March, every canton in the country will be obliged to appoint a lawyer to act on behalf of pets and barnyard animals in order to protect them from abuse. ....."Pet keepers think that a so-called love for a guinea pig is enough," he told The Sunday Times. Al-Qaida seeking tools for nuclear 9/1: "Agents for Britain's MI6 Secret Intelligence Service say they are 'certain' al-Qaida is poised to try and grab some of the 80 nuclear weapons that Pakistan possesses. ...there is mounting evidence 'the leadership is thinking of a nuclear 9/11 and are approaching it in increasingly professional ways.'... One analyst said, "There are up to 12,000 people in Pakistan with some kind of role which brings them into nuclear facilities...'"

The Abdulmutallab Travesty: "...the Obama administration shut him down. It didn’t go so far as to tell the Customs and Border Protection officers to cover their ears and try not to listen when Abdulmutallab made incriminating statements on the initial ride to the hospital, but it came close. Al-Qaeda threat: Britain worst in western world: "Al-Qaeda has successfully restructured its global network....Two years ago Jonathan Evans, the head of MI5, estimated that there were 2,000 al-Qaeda sympathisers based in Britain....With al-Qaeda’s leadership under intense pressure from Nato and Pakistani security forces, there are reports that scores of British activists are now travelling to Yemen and Somalia to attend al-Qaeda training camps and receive instructions for carrying out terror attacks against Western targets....

     "The ease with which al-Qaeda has managed to launch attacks against American targets has taken many U.S. intelligence officials by surprise... They have also been shocked to discover that many of those responsible for strengthening the terror capabilities of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula are former inmates of the U.S. Guantanamo Detention Facility in Cuba. Pentagon officials estimate that one in five released Guantanamo detainees have rejoined al-Qaeda terror cells after their release.... [or "far higher than estimated by the Pentagon]....

     "'...Yemen has now emerged as one of al-Qaeda’s top training grounds for its global terrorist network,' said a senior U.S. intelligence official. 'And what really concerns us now is the number of British-based Muslims who are traveling there to take part in the training. New Al-Qaeda chiefs bringing terror to the world -- Former Guantanamo prisoners have moved to Yemen to rejoin the fight against the West: "...al-Shihri, a Saudi national, spent six years as prisoner number 372 at the US-run Guantanamo detention centre in Cuba after being captured on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in December 2001. In December 2007, however, he was released into the custody of the Saudi government’s 'deradicalisation' programme for terrorists.... Last week Pentagon sources admitted that 61 former prisoners at the camp, 12% of the 510 released, have returned to the battlefield." See next 2 links:

Britain and US shut embassies in Yemen after al-Qaida threats: "Al-Qaida threats have forced Britain and the United States to close their embassies in Yemen today amid increasing concern about the roots of terrorism in the Arabian peninsula...." Yet the effort to stop international terrorists from entering America is minimal. Are we asking for disaster?

Al-Qaida double-agent killed CIA officers: "The suicide bombing on a CIA base in Afghanistan last week was carried out by a Jordanian doctor who was an al-Qaida double-agent.... Al-Balawi was arrested by Jordanian intelligence  more than a year ago. However, the Jordanians believed that al-Balawi had been successfully reformed and brought over to the American and Jordanian side, setting him up as an agent and sending him off to Afghanistan and Pakistan to infiltrate al-Qaida.'...

Obama is vulnerable on terror -- and he knows it: "Janet Napolitano, the Homeland Security chief – who prefers the term 'man-caused disasters' to 'terrorism' - blithely stated that there was 'no indication that it is part of anything larger'. She then insisted that the 'system is working'. Although Napolitano has taken a lot of flak for these comic utterances, she was not 'misspeaking' but trotting out the agreed talking points of the day....

     "There is a pattern in the Obama administration of dismissing Islamist terrorist attacks as regrettable random acts. In his radio address after Major Nidal Hassan's slaughtered 13 at Fort Hood, Texas, Obama made no mention of terrorism or militant Islam.... In June, Abdul Hakim Mujahid Muhammad, a Muslim convert being watched by the FBI and who had previously travelled to Yemen, murdered a US Army recruit in Arkansas. Clues left by Fort Hood shooter: "Nidal Malik Hasan was causing a ruckus in his one-bedroom apartment during the early hours of Nov. 5, banging against the thin walls long after midnight, packing boxes and shredding papers until he woke up the tenants next door.... Then Hasan visited another neighbor, a devout Christian, who looked at him quizzically when he handed her a copy of the Quran and recommended passages for her to read. 'In my religion,' Hasan told her, 'we'll do anything to be closer to God.' Just before the break of dawn in Killeen, Texas, Hasan... stopped for his customary breakfast.... Hasan approached the counter with coffee and hash browns at 6:22 a.m., wearing an Arab robe and a white kufi cap. Before fiddling in his pockets for change, buying his breakfast and driving away to work at Fort Hood, Hasan smiled at another customer and issued what sounded like a warning. 'There's going to be big action on post around 1:30,' he said.... 'Be prepared.'.... Bombing Attempt Puts Nigeria in Spotlight: "Friday’s foiled attempt to bomb an American airliner is focusing fresh attention on the suspected bomber’s home country, Nigeria, which on Friday will take a seat on the U.N. Security Council for the next two years."

Father of Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab... warned U.S.: "The terror suspect who tried to blow up a Detroit-bound plane is the son of a Nigerian banker who alerted U.S. authorities to his 'extreme religious views' months ago.... The father, Alhaji Umaru Mutallab, a former minister and chairman of First Bank in Nigeria, is shocked that his son was even was allowed to fly to the U.S.... 

       "The suspect boarded the Airbus 330 - carrying 278 passengers and 11 crew members - in Amsterdam after arriving on a flight from Lagos. He told authorities he got the explosives in Yemen and received orders from Al Qaeda operatives to detonate the device on a plane over U.S. soil." See some interesting clues in the next four links:

• Homeland Security chief: No sign airplane attack part of larger plot: "[H.S. Secretary] Napolitano said the suspect, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, was on a broad security watch list that contains 'half a million' names and is shared with airlines and foreign security agencies. However, a lack of specific evidence prevented him from being classified as a greater security risk that would bar him from travel to the United States." • Suspect Charged in Thwarted Terror Plot Aboard Detroit-Bound Jet: "The father, Alhaji Umaru Mutallab, allegedly told Nigerian newspaper... that he had informed both the U.S. Embassy and the Nigerian security services of his son's activities six months ago.'"

• U.S. Knew for 2 Years of Plane Attack Suspect's Terror Ties: "Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab, has been on a list that includes people with known or suspected contact or ties to a terrorist or terrorist organization."

• Flight 253 passenger: Sharp-dressed man aided terror suspect Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab onto plane without passport: "While Mutallab was poorly dressed, his friend was dressed in an expensive suit, Haskell said. He says the suited man asked ticket agents whether Mutallab could board without a passport. 'The guy said, 'He's from Sudan and we do this all the time.'"

Terrorist Training Camps in the US: "The Spread of Homegrown Terrorists - Islamic training camps in America's back yard. Why are these communities left to flourish in the US?" The video tells us these hostile camps are constitutional. Strange - when the Bill of Rights (especially the 1st Amendment) seems to be fading fast. Is this another convenient crisis that could speed the process of change? Whatever the case, our God still reigns!

'Chilling' new video: How to slit throats: "The video shows women marching in military formation, scaling walls, engaging in hand-to-hand combat....  The speaker states, 'We are 100 percent sure that Muslims are the majority in America'. He continues, 'Our Islamic political party has based its manifesto on this fact. We want to declare once and for all that America is our country.'

     "...the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in 2005 warned about Jamaat ul-Fuqra, a Pakistani-based organization.... The U.S. State Department's 1998 Patterns of Global Terrorism report notes the organization seeks to purify Islam through violence.' ... 'Members have purchased isolated rural compounds in North America to live communally, practice their faith and insulate themselves from Western culture. Fuqra members have attacked a variety of targets that they view as enemies of Islam."
      "The organization's 'Homegrown Jihad' video includes a chilling scene of ... Sheikh Mubarak Gilani telling followers to 'act like you're his friend. Then kill him.'"

Rules of engagement killing U.S. soldiers: "...those restrictions include the following: ~No night or surprise searches. ~Villagers are to be warned prior to searches Afghan National Army... ~U.S. soldiers may not fire at insurgents unless they are preparing to fire first. ~U.S. forces cannot engage insurgents if civilians are present.... Often, rules of engagement require varying levels of approvals before action can be taken."

The Threat at Home: "A growing body of evidence suggests that Somali communities in the Unites States have become fertile ground for terrorist groups to recruit and implant operatives. On November 23, the federal government announced eight more indictments of Somali-Americans in Minnesota on charges of recruiting members of their community to join the al-Shabaab terrorist organization in Somalia....

      "Somali gangs are also becoming an issue in Minnesota. Shukri Adan, a former Somali community organizer, said in 2007 that there 400-500 members of his community were involved in gangs....
