Believers that trust and follow God's Word would agree with the Scriptures above! They know they can count on those Biblical promises. They are confident that God's plan and promises will never fail!

So when Israel was reborn as nation in 1948, faithful Christians shared in their joyful celebration! That great event fit right into the Biblical message of restoration and ultimate victory! 

Countless end time prophecies point us to a restored Israel. The Scriptures prophesied accurately that the Jews would be dispersed throughout the world and lose their homeland. That eviction lasted for a period of almost 2000 years beginning in about AD 70.  The Jews were indeed scattered throughout much of the world, but there was always a remnant of believers who remembered their homeland, maintained their hope, and continued to pray for Israel's restoration.

Through the centuries, the Jews were able to maintain every small aspect of their language, their culture and their Old Testament religion. The odds of that happening apart from God's sovereign care and sustenance would be impossible.

Generations of Christians have shared the hope of a restored Israel. The Scriptures told us -- both Christian and Jewish believers -- that Israel would once again rise as a nation. And indeed, that happened as promised on May 14th 1948. Perhaps the terrors of World War II led to a time  of unusual sympathy for the suffering Jews both during and after the holocaust! 

The Jews continue to face unthinkable challenges. Almost the entire world (and especially radical Muslims) continue to hate them, and many of Israel's enemies would do anything to banish and destroy the land promised to God's chosen people.

But God is more than able to carry out His ultimate victory. The constant threats and widespread hostility toward Israelis have built inner strength and lasting endurance, and they surely see God's triumph in the midst of the ongoing terror. What more wonderful promise has He given them than these:

"I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. ... Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God." Ezekiel 36:24-28

In addition to the very specific prophecies above, the following should make one sit up and pay attention. Right about at the time (and thereafter) that Israel became a nation a whole long list of One World organizations also came into being. Does one really conclude this is coincidental? I think not. This is a brief list below but the actual list is quite extensive of those organizations and peoples and various movements who are determined to eradicate Biblical Truth and establish the planned secular/socialist New World Order:

The United Nations kicked off in 1945.

The World Council of Churches began in I think 1947.

The World Bank in 1944.

The International Monetary Fund in 1944

CIA was formed in 1947.

The World Health Organization in 1948.

The General Agreement on Tarifs and Trade began in 1948 (It later became known as the World Trade Organization)

The World Federalist Movement Internationalists Secretariat began in 1947

The International Environmental Movement began in the 1940’s

Bilderberg Group began in 1954

Club of Rome in 1968

The International Forum on Globalization began in 1994

Rio Earth Summit 1992

The Earth Charter launched in 2000.

I love these times because I see so much precise fulfillment of God’s Word playing out right before my very eyes as we speak. Israel in particular is such a clear fulfillment of prophecy in every single regard its amazing to watch. 

Thus says the Lord God: "This is Jerusalem; I have set her in the midst of the nations and the countries all around her."  Ezekiel 5:5

Most prophecy people agree….Israel becoming a nation again in 1948 pretty much is central to the whole last days clock.

There are countless end time prophecies that are tied to the nation of Israel. If Israel is not a nation then a whole list of prophecies cannot come about. Scripture prophesied accurately that the Jews would be dispersed all over the world and lose their homeland. This occurred for a period of almost 2000 years beginning in about AD 70.  It's an historical fact that the Jews were indeed scattered throughout much of the world.

It's also historical fact that the Jews were/are hated and persecuted wherever they went. Scripture very specifically tells us though, that in the end times, Israel once again would be a nation and it would happen in precisely one day. This happened on May 14^th 1948 in one day just as foretold.

Since then, Israel has faced threats and hostility from around the world -- just as Scriptures foretold. Indeed, Israel's survival is a repeated miracle! Our God has truly preserved His (wayward) people through the ages, keeping them for the purpose He established from the beginning of time. .

Another very telling aspect to this story that defies normal human conduct. Not only were the Jews scattered all over world -- not only where they persecuted wherever they went. Yet, during a period of almost 2000 years, God enabled them to recapture their language, history, culture and Jewish religion in the midst of countless wars, migrations, resettlements and hostilities.

"On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves."  Zechariah 12:3
