Role-Playing Games & Popular Occultism
Brainwashing in America
Brave New Schools, Chapter 3: A New Way of
wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual [stirs up
feeling], demonic." James 3:15
Peter, a former
occultist, shared these important insights into the occult ideology now
permeating Western culture:
What I learned in secret is now all
over! Craving mystical thrills, children as well as teens and adults
can find and usee them -- to their destruction
The creative visualization in the
emerald tablet of Hermetic Magic is "as above so below." Visualize
the above, manifest below. When individuals learn to use either D&D
or magic the gathering, or any of the video games that are out
there, they are dealing with conjurative magic. Innocent as they may
seem, creative visualizations form the foundations of occult
I was taught in ritual magic how to
go to different planes of existence outside the physical body. I
could create a realm there in which I could practice ritual magic. I
perfected the craft by practice [PRAXIS]. When you did it on the
physical plane, all you did was do what I had practiced in the
creative visualization. And it would happen on the physical plane. A
manifestation of the power of your will.
A comparison between
the video games and card games that are occult in nature.
How it is used both that way and what
it is used for:
Familiar with an aviation simulator?
They simulate the inside of a cockpit in flying a plane. You can
learn how to fly a plane in a flight simulator. Event to he point of
being able to crash the plane by making mistakes.
In a flight simulator there is no
risk. All risk has been removed. When you play these occult games,
which are war games, you're doing the exact same thing that you
would be dong in a flight simulator. No risk. Someone like me, used
to be, could then walk up to any of these people who show promise
(some level of skill) and I could put my hand on their shoulder,
look them in the eye and say. If you get a rush from this, how would
like to do it for real. No one has ever answered no.
So the other side uses the
tournaments and the online exercises as a way to recruit kids right
into the occult world.
Christian parents protect their children?
Tell your children that -- if they
are saved -- their lives are based on a belief system -- on Jesus
Christ. Then show them how to evaluate the game based on the 10
commandments. This gives them a foundation to build on. [See
How can Games, TV, Books and
Movies hinder your walk with God?]
Christians are vulnerable because
they compartmentalize [or pigeonhole] the various aspects of their
lives -- even God. They don't see their Lord as the foundation and
expression of their belief system. Seeing the Bible as a mere book
that is generally irrelevant to the rest of their lives, they leave
In contrast, an occultist sees
himself and everything everything else as interrelated -- one
picture, so everything they do is predicated upon their beliefs.
"This wisdom does not
descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic."
The occult world controls the world's
concepts. Whenever anyone [not including committed Christians] prays
and their praying for creative idea -- want to be inspired -- it's
likely to be [occult master behind] Baal who inspires them.
And you He made alive, who
were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked
according to the course of this world, according to the prince
of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons
of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted
ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of
the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of
wrath, just as the others.
"But God, who is rich in mercy,
because of His great love with which He loved us, even when
we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ
(by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and
made us sit together min the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of
His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus."
The Artifacts of Knowledge: A Biogenetical Structural Account of
Symbol and Technology (by Charles D. Laughlin, Jr.): "Technology
and the Transformation of Being. However,
it is precisely in the typically western, absolute and uncritical
distinction between inner and outer operational environments
that many theories of technology flounder in the mire of materialist
reification. For, in many societies the transformation intended by
a technique -- even one with artifactual components -- is within the
internal operational environment; that is, within the organization
of the individual being. The outer operational environment
is transformed as a medium to produce inner
"To give another example, Tibetan
Buddhist practitioners will execute meticulous paintings intended
to aid in perfecting internal visualizations. The paintings are
not strictly necessary for the visualization practices, but
are useful as an intermediary step in the internalization
of the image.... Thus, at the same time, the painting is an
artifactual aid to the fulfillment of an anticipated sensorial object,
and an evocator of that object, and beyond that object a
penetrator to the domain of arcane knowledge.
Problem of the "Practical." The
distinctions we take so for granted as scientists between the being
and the world...and between the supernatural (mystical) and
empirical are not so clear cut, if indeed they are
made at all, in most non-western societies. Much technology
in other societies is directed as much at access to, or control
over the hidden cosmic forces in the world....
"Perhaps the classical example of
this blending of intents is to be found in Bronislaw Malinowski's
discussion of Trobriand Island canoe-building. The Trobrianders are
a sea-going society living in Melanesia who subsist in part
upon the proceeds of fishing.... There is a third type of canoe
called a masawa that is used exclusively for sea-going expeditions.
The masawa is carefully manufactured and the ritual-magical
preparations involved in the manufacture are elaborate. It is
owned by a large social organization and there is a specialist who
supervises all aspects, ritual-magical and technical, in its
"As Malinowski repeatedly
emphasizes, however, no clear distinction is made by the natives
between "practical" labor and "impractical" ritual-magic. Rather,
both are requisite to the construction of a safe and seaworthy canoe
and a successful expedition. The canoe must not only be built, but
it must be protected from the dangers it will confront on the
voyage, as well as malevolent social influences upon and
potential failure of exchange transactions. It is significant that
the simplest canoe, and the one in which people confront the least
risk, has no ritual-magical component to its construction. The
larger vessel in which more serious fishing is carried out does
require some ritual-magical protection. But it is the sea-going
canoes that pose the greatest risk to life and reputation that are
the subject of the most severe ritual-magical sanctions."
If only we, Christians, would be as concerned about spiritual dangers --
demonic forces -- that we and our children face in an increasingly pagan
world! As Peter said,
Dress yourself spiritually for war!
Otherwise those demonic entities, servitudes, and fallen angelic see
food -- naked food. If you are not wearing God's armor, you are an
opportunity. So put on The whole
Armor of God
