EVIL IS VERY SUBTLE AND OFTEN VEILED IN “GOOD.” WATCH FOR IT. BE AWARE. “BE SOBER, BE VIGILANT; BECAUSE YOUR ADVERSARY
THE DEVIL, AS A ROARING LION, WALKETH ABOUT, SEEKING WHOM HE MAY DEVOUR.” (1 Peter 5:8)

The occult promotes its philosophy In the following ways:

  • The main characters in stories, games and videos are often non-offensive to children. Because they are made to look good, children believe that they ARE good. Deception.

  • The stories are designed to make you FEEL good about the main characters so that you know WHO they are but you forget WHAT they ARE. Deception.

  • Story lines are marketed as fiction or science fiction. We readily accept fiction as fiction, Just that -- made up, not real. We all have been raised on fairy tales where heroes had magical or supernatural powers that they could use to resolve conflict. It was OK because they were the “good guys.” In truth, we never evaluated their “powers” as having possibly come from an evil source because fairy tale heroes always used their powers for good and they triumphed. Deception.

  • Story lines always revolve around situation ethics: ethical or moral decisions that are made according to the circumstances that the characters find themselves in. Decisions are NEVER made from absolute ideals of right and wrong. Deception.

What exactly Is it about each of these techniques that Is so deceiving?
