The Quest for Global Peace

From a reader: I recently wrote this for evangelism purposes -- handing out or speaking it in public. It seems to me to be quite an appropriate topic
for these times.I think this topic of "peace", as the new agers/harlot church sees it (spiritually) , or as the UN/EU/beast sees it (politically) , is very useful currently, for apologetics and evangelism.Peace and Security! Everyone is saying peace and security! The government is saying peace and security. The UN is saying peace and security. The EU is saying peace and security. The Middle East is saying peace and security. The Palestinians and the Israelis are saying peace and security. The cities of America are saying peace and security. Why does everyone want peace and security? Because people want freedom from the fear of an “unexpected” death.
(Note to you Berit: We know the reason is they want their beloved global n w o, but the reason that is offered/marketed by them to the masses is the threat of terrorism/(death). )
But guess what? Unexpected or not, everyone dies. Then it is judgment day and we stand before the holy and righteous creator God, to Whom we will have to give an account. Then what? So we get our long desired, man created, global peace and security, then what? What about after your death- then where will your peace and security be? Let me tell you about the real peace and security. There is only peace; there is only security in God Almighty, the Lord, the one true God.
It is appointed for men to die once and then the judgment. Why are we judged by God? What have we done? Man has sinned against God, and in rebellion against God, breaking His law. Making other things god in our heart, blaspheming His holy name, disregarding Him, dishonoring Him, dishonoring parents, murder in our heart against people, immoral sex and adulterous lust in our heart, envy, refusing to believe in God, even though knowing He is there, greed, drunkenness, unthankfufness, witchcraft, sorcery, drugs, outbursts of anger, self righteousness and pride. Our willful sin, our willful rebellion and our willful attempt at prideful self justification will condemn us on the judgment day.
But God Himself provides the peace and security for us so that we do not have to be judged for our sins. In His mercy and grace, God has lovingly provided for us the payment of our sins against Him, so that we will not have to be found guilty and condemned on the Day of Judgment. He has done this through the death and resurrection of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. His death on the cross; the shedding of the innocent blood of Christ, Yeshua the Messiah, is the payment of our sins, to avert the judgment of God against our sins. Jesus took this judgment that we deserve, because of His love. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes on Him will not perish, but have eternal life. Jesus said, “He who hears my word and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life and does not come into judgment but has passed out of death into life.”
He shed His blood on the cross to give us true peace and security. This is love! This is mercy! This is God’s grace He offers to us sinners. This is God’s gift of forgiveness and salvation, which is God’s peace and security. God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. In Him we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. The Lord says, “And their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” Trust Him, obey Him, listen to Him, and follow Him. Only Jesus can provide the real peace and security. Jesus is Lord!
Repent and believe and trust Christ with your eternal soul and your sins will not be remembered by God on Judgment Day, and you will have peace and security in God forever whether you live or die.
This is the real peace and security! Don't accept a false substitute. For Thou alone O Lord does make me to dwell in safety. Safety is of the Lord.
The Lord will bless His people with peace. We have peace with God though our Lord Jesus Christ.
