Impotent
lacking in power, strength, or vigor: Helpless.

“These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with
their lips,

but their heart is far from Me.” Matthew 15:8

Jesus
used even harsher words than me. He said that when Christianity loses its
saltiness we become “good
for nothing

I think
we have reached that point. How in the world did the “Body of Christ” become
so limb-wristed and weak?

I am a
proud Christian man.

I am not ashamed of the Gospel
of Christ for it is the “power” of God
unto salvation. But for the most part, the “Church” has been rendered
powerless, “good for nothing except to be trodden under the foot of man”
because we are ashamed to proclaim the Truth. The Gospel is powerless if we
are ashamed of it.

Instead
of a stallion, the sissified-pulpit has produced a gelding. They are hiding
under a bushel. Oh, they are not ashamed of it inside the safety of their
stained-glassed monarchies, but they are ashamed of it out where the Devil
roams….

With the
exception of the other-worldly power of salvation, (the transforming of a
soul from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of Light), the Church is as
harmless as an unloaded gun.
Although salvation of individual souls lies at the heart of the Gospel,

the full Counsel of God
is the lock, load, and carry version of the
Gospel that is missing.

The
Gospel is not only for “the lost.” It is desperately needed for “the found.”

But it
is more than an individual Gospel. If the Truth never gets spewed out of the
soul of the individual; If we fail to realize that the purpose of one’s
salvation is to impregnate others with the freeing-power of Truth; If we
fail to take to heart the commandment of our Lord to “Go
ye into
all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature…Teaching
them
to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you…”

Then

what we are
celebrating is “no
Gospel at all

We have
relegated the world-changing Gospel of Jesus to a self-indulgent, feel good,
best-life-now witches-brew of Christian-Humanism.

The
Gospel is not for you or about you. It is, and always has been, about
others. If we love them we will speak the Truth

“Greater
love
hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his
friends.”

“The
fear
of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom
and instruction.”
America’s impotent “churches” have produced
a nation of fools.

“The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they,
and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.”

Psalm
53:1

The
“Church” today, for the most part, cares only about souls. Jesus asked us to
make disciples. Pastors have turned that responsibility over to the public
schools. There is no time for that when there are so many souls to win.

Let me
stop you right here before you start typing your email rebuke to me.

I am not
a
dominionist
. As much as this might hurt your feelings, I don’t think
that Jehovah has a special affinity for America. We have deluded ourselves
into thinking that we are the apple of His eye, when in Truth, the Lord has
honored America because we were his vehicle for the promotion of the Gospel
around the world. Today we export decadence, not the Gospel.

We are
much more “enlightened” today than the followers of that Time-less Book. In
our attempt to be relevant to an ever-changing culture the Church has
misrepresented the one “Who
changes not
” Jesus Christ,

the same yesterday, and today, and for ever
.

Today,
our pulpits are representing a different Jesus, with a different Gospel. The
world has become the

salt of the church
. The corrupted seed will produce corrupted
off-spring.

How else
can you explain a thrice-married Presidential candidate being palatable to
American-Christians? Could it be we have traded Christianity for
conservatism?

For
unto us a child is born
, unto us a son is given: and the
government shall be upon his shoulder:.. Of the increase of his government
and peace
there shall be no end…”

To most
pastors “government” has become a four-letter word. They have failed to
realize that the culture (government) is the playing field upon which the
real Super Bowl is played. The age-old battle between the

Seed of the Serpent and the Seed of the Woma
n is raging before our very
eyes. The Devil’s kids are ejaculating his seed all though-out the culture.
Instead of Christians fighting to abort HIS seed, we are acquiescing to the
aborting of our own.

Most
pastors only want to watch the battle, criticize the participants in the
battle, and run to the safety of their bunkers where they can “meet, greet,
and retreat.” There is never victory in retreat…

I run
across them all of the time; Those Christians who un-loaded on me for
“fighting for the culture.”

“This old world is doomed Brother Dave. No sense trying to save it. Just
preach the Gospel…”

What
they fail to realize is the cultural-battle IS THE GOSPEL…”teaching them to
observe all I have commanded you.” Our job is not to legislate the Gospel.
Our job is to “preach it.”

But our
willingness to

cede
control of the culture to the enemy has created an environment that
is hostile to the Gospel. The Devil’s spawn have bullied us back into the
closet.

President Obama has just trod all over Christianity by forcing the
Catholic Church to compromise on the issues of life. Why should they be
surprised? Christian leadership bowed to their authority while they murdered
the unborn. Why should a little ole pill matter? Government is the all
powerful god that they fear most.

Why
would the President force such a diabolical order on “The Church?” Because
he can. Because Obama recognizes what a paper-tiger that
politically-compromised “good-for-nothing” religious organization has
become.

I am not
banging on the Catholics. Lord knows the

Evangellyfish
share the blame. Christianity is the condom that the Lord
created to stop the spread of the evil seed. American Christianity has
abandoned safe-sex.

Think
the culture doesn’t matter in the spreading of the Gospel? Chew on this for
a few minutes.

•
How many fewer children would have been molested if pornography
had been opposed?
• How many women are burdened today because abortion has
been permitted?
• How many will never reach the Kingdom because of the
secularization of schools?
• How many lives were destroyed by the legalization of
“no-fault” divorce?
• How many souls have been destroyed because of the
acceptance of sodomy?
• How many treasures have been stolen through government
covetousness and thievery?
• How many have walked the wrong path because we failed to
teach them The Way?

Am I my
brother’s keeper?

Last
week I reached the end of my rope. I met with a pastor in an attempt to get
him to buy-in to the Personhood Amendment. “The Church” has an opportunity to end abortion in
Ohio.

“What does that have to do with me? I pastor a church.”
He arrogantly
spoke down to me. “I am a minister of the Gospel. I will not pollute the
pulpit with political affairs.”

Meanwhile, the Seed of the Serpent multiplies faster than rabbits, while the
American Church stands powerless to do anything about it.

The
Church has lost its manhood. It has been neutered, de-balled, gelded, and
rendered helpless. The Devil’s kids are dancing in the streets.

Do you
think like a Christian or a humanist? Did the Founders really separate
Church and State? Is Judicial tyranny ruining America?
