Gaylene Goodroad*

Are we in possession of messages of extraterrestrial origin?

If
so, what do they mean?

What do these messages from the edge of eternity portend for the future?

What has the science of cryptology revealed about these ancient texts? Is our
universe itself a “digital message”?

Do
these messages explain the interval between the miracle of our origin and the
mystery of our destiny?

Read
the implications of our finite universe and the shocking discoveries of quantum
physics at the very boundaries of reality and learn their significance to our
origin and personal destinies!

C
huck Missler’s Cosmic Codes: Hidden Messages from the Edge of Eternity is a
535-page textbookfor the Koinonia Institute Bible Course,

BTE 620:Introduction to Biblical Cryptology.
[i]Here
is a description from the KI [Koinonia Institute] Handbook

This
course includes an introduction to cryptography (the study of secret writing),
with a survey of codes and ciphers: transpositions and monoalphabetic,
polyalphabetic, and polygraphic substitutions.

It
explores the surprising use of encryptions in the Biblical text, including—but
not limited to—the controversial equidistant-letter-sequences which have been so
fancifully promoted.

Microcodes
(“jots and tittles”), Macrocodes (strategic anticipatory structures) and
Metacodes (beyond the boundaries of physical reality) are explored.

Paracryptology and extraterrestrial communication investigations are also
highlighted.
[ii]

Did you understand this quote?
In order to interpret it one must use interchangeable language pulled from New
Age physics** where “microcosm” becomes “microcode,” “macrocosm” becomes
“macrocode,” and “metacosm” becomes “metacode.” These, and other
terms linked to mystical, occultic, and arcane ideas, are vigorously used and
taught in Cosmic Codes. This includes numerous highly unusual and extra
biblical words that read like codes themselves—terms such as cryptography,
cryptanalysis, cryptology, encipher, encode, ciphertext, cryptogram, decipher,
decode, acrostic, and anagram.

Chuck Missler defines these
secret code practices:

Some
[codes], we discover are hidden behind, or underneath, our
day-to-day traffic of ideas. The ones which are hidden usually reveal an
ulterior intent or purpose…. From the ancient palaces of our earliest cultures
to the super-secret “black chambers” of our most modern command posts,
the art of secret writing—and the science of their decipherment
—have
determined the course of history. Cryptology—the study of secret codes
and ciphers
—has also been stimulated by its use in literature.
[iii][bold

De-Coding the Bible

It is significant that the word
“occult” means “hidden”or “secret.”
[iv]
The idea that the LORD God would imbed secret knowledge in His Word—requiring
believers to “decrypt” it by using worldly techniques—soars to the heights of
blasphemy. “Cryptological Bible study” is totally foreign to the Bible’s
plain teachings and precepts.

In fact, in both the Old and
New Testaments, the Lord God Himself teaches the exact opposite (Isa. 45:16, 19;
Jn. 18:20). Contradicting the idea of God communicating in “cosmic codes” is the
fact that Lord Jesus Christ, The Word, (though on occasion He spoke in
parables), spoke openly and not in hidden, encrypted language (Jn. 1:1;
18:20).

Note that the LORD is speaking
here:

•

 Isa 45:19

“I have
not spoken in secret, In some dark land; I did not say to the offspring of
Jacob, ‘Seek Me in a waste place’; I, the LORD, speak righteousness, Declaring
things that are upright.”

•

Isa 48:16

“Come near
to Me, listen to this: From the first I have not spoken in secret, From the time
it took place, I was there. And now the Lord GOD  has sent Me, and His Spirit.”
[v]

Plainly, the Lord declared
twice that He has NOT spoken “in secret.” He is the One who spoke
creation into existence; He is the Word (Gen. 1:3-31; John 1:1).

Here is how Gesenius’ Hebrew
Lexicon
defines the word “secret” (Heb. cether) in the verses above
from Isaiah: “a hiding; hence something secret, clandestine, hidden, Jud.
3:10… ‘some secret thing;’ 1 Sam. 25:20… ‘the covert of the mountain….’”
[vi]

According to the text’s plain
meaning, God declares that He does not speak in secret, clandestine, or hidden
language. Jesus Christ reiterates this declaration in John 18:20:

•

Jn 18:20

Jesus
answered him, “I have spoken openly to the world; I always taught in
synagogues and in the temple, where all the Jews come together; and I spoke
nothing in
secret.
[vii]

According to Thayer’s Greek
Lexicon
, the word “secret” in John 18 comes from the Greek word, kryptos
(from which we derive the English word cryptic, or “hidden”).
[viii]
Thayer’s further defines:

...hidden,
concealed, secret
: Mt. x. 26; Mk. iv. 22; Lk. viii.17; xii. 2 . . . in
secret, Mt. vi. 4, 6, 18 Rec.;… privately, in secret, Jn. vii. 4, 10; xviii.
20… [the hidden things of darkness i.e.] things covered by darkness, 1
Co. iv. 5;… the things which men conceal, Ro. ii. 16;… his secret thoughts,
feelings, desires, 1 Co. iv. 2;…. into a secret place…
.[ix]

In direct contradiction to
Missler’s thesis about hidden “cosmic codes,” the Lord Jesus Christ proclaims
that He not only spoke openly (publicly), but never in secret, hidden, or
encrypted language.

In Scripture, whenever a
“mystery” (secret) was presented, it was the Lord God who “revealed” it. The
word “mystery” (“secret,” Aramaic raz)
[x]
occurs 6 times in the Old Testament (all in the Book of Daniel)
[xi];
and 19 times in the New Testament (“secret,” Gr. musterion).
[xii]
Note Daniel the prophet’s declaration:

•

 Dan
2:27 “
Daniel
answered before the king and said, ‘As for the mystery about which the
king has inquired, neither wise men, conjurers, magicians nor diviners are able
to declare it to the king’.”

•

Dan 2:28

“However,
there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries, and He has made known to
King Nebuchadnezzar what will take place in the latter days. This was your dream
and the visions in your mind while on your bed.”
[xiii][Emphasis
added]

The “wise men,” “conjurers,”
“magicians,” and “diviners” could not reveal the mystery, because only the “God
in heaven” reveals them.

Note the beginning words of the
last book of the Bible:

•

Rev 1:1
“
The
Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the
things which must soon take place; and He sent and communicated it by His angel
to His bond-servant John.”
[xiv]

The “Revelation” “lays bare”
the mystery. It is a revealing, or an unveiling of the Lord Jesus
Christ (Gr. apokalypsis).
[xv]The
“revelation” was initiated by God the Father, then given to Christ—the one and
only mediator between God and man (1 Tim. 2:5).

All that the Lord God wanted us
to know, He recorded plainly in His book—which is to be read and pondered, not
manipulated by those claiming to possess secret knowledge. Lest we become like
the wise men, conjurers, magicians or diviners, we should leave alone any
hidden mysteries until the God who knows them reveals them (Dan. 2:27-28; Rev.
1:1).

From Secret Codes to
Extraterrestrial Communications

In the Preface to Cosmic
Codes
one can find occult methodologies—and the tenets of New Age physics.
Chuck Missler writes:

The
interception and breaking of secret codes have tumbled proud thrones and
determined the outcome of major wars since the dawn of history. The decipherment
of hidden messages has turned the tide of history on more occasions that one can
enumerate….

Dedicated
scientists continue to scan the heavens in their search for signalsfrom
distant galaxies
. Committed teams of microbiologists and computer
specialists continue their efforts to further decipher the genetic codes
in our DNA. And now we discover that all this time there apparently have been
hidden codes
in the most widely distributed document on the Planet Earth—the
Bible.

Is there a
connection between all of these? Is there a relationship between the “Bible
Codes
” and the digital error-correcting codes hidden in our DNA?Is
there a relationship between these digital codes and the
discoveries of quantum physics at the very boundaries of reality
itself?

We will
begin our review by exploring some background in the art of cryptology, the
study of secret writing and some of the efforts which have been devoted to the
pursuit of extraterrestrial communication—the attempts to discern
signals from outside of our space-time
….

What
characteristics would an extraterrestrial communication require? How
would we recognize an extraterrestrial message if we encountered one?…

We will
also
explore some of the deeply disturbing insights of quantum physics
which are confronting our very concepts of reality

It
will however, be of paramount importance to first ‘blindfold your prejudices’
and presuppositions.
[xvi]
[Bold emphases added]

Beginning with a study of
cryptology next opens the door to the “pursuit of extraterrestrial
communication” and “attempts to discern signals from outside of our space-time”?
How does a respected evangelical leader move so far away from the plain truth of
Scripture? By blindfolding “prejudices” and biblical “presuppositions”?

The classical approach to
studying the Bible emphasizes the Holy Spirit’s role in biblical illumination
and requires the use of proper biblical hermeneutics and exegesis. However, to
bolster his quantum spirituality teachings, Missler de-emphasizes the “classic
approach,” calling it “myopic”. He writes:

(Many
commentators tend to be like Humpty Dumpty in Lewis Carroll’s Through the
Looking Glass
, who maintained that, “When I use a word, it means just what I
choose it to mean—neither more nor less.”
644)

The
classical approach to conservative Biblical hermeneutics usually emphasizes the
following…. These emphases yield good intellectual hygiene. They are the pillars
upon which traditional doctrines are rigorously anchored. It is the
unwavering enslavement to the grip of context, however, that can seem
myopic at times
.
[xvii][italics
in original, bold added]

Important questions must be
asked—not only about the promotion of quantum spirituality, but also regarding
the methodologies being used to justify it. Can these so-called hidden “cosmic
codes” only be discovered and decrypted when the Scripture is released from the
“myopic” and “unwavering enslavement to the grip of context”?

Is this the ultimate purpose of
quantum spirituality—which is the mixture of quantum physics with New Age
spirituality—to go beyond what is written in Scripture and “to boldly go where
no man has gone before”?
[xviii]

As one critic of the Bible code
idea has insightfully observed:

Christians, quite frankly, have trouble enough obeying the plain and obvious
things that we do understand from Scripture without making up other things….
Looking for secret codes is one big detour and diversion…. Ignoring the clear
and plain message of the Bible takes us down a detour of speculation and away
from the practical pursuit of obedience and growth. The speculative chasing of
“Bible codes” is not something found in historic orthodox Christianity….

The
pursuit of a Bible code is not about gain in any sense but about incredible
loss. There is the loss of the Bible, the loss of the true knowledge of God and
the Savior of mankind. It is about the loss of Bible doctrines regarding
salvation and sanctification. Losing these we fail to search the Scriptures as
we should (Psalm 1) and lose the information on how to find Christ and mature in
Him (2 Timothy 3:14-17).
[xvix]

The Truth:

The
secret things belong unto the LORD our God:

but
those things which are revealed

belong
unto us and to our children for ever,

that we
may do all the words of this law.

(Deuteronomy 29:29)

The
Emerging ENIGMA Bible

COSMS,
CODES, AND CRYPTOLOGIES, Part 3

By Gaylene
Goodroad

...[O]nce
someone decides they can cherry-pick verses at will,

change the
meaning of these texts to fit his theories

and use
random hermeneutical methods,

anything
can be “proven.”

—Pastor Gary Gilley*

ENIGMA:

A saying, question, picture,
etc., containing a hidden meaning.
**

T
he
study of “cosmic codes” and related occult methodologies did not originate with
Chuck Missler, but from the ancient sages and Jewish mystics who generated the
occult body of mystical writings called the

Kabbalah
.

Missler acknowledges this fact
himself in Chapter 10 of Cosmic Codes called, “The Skipping of Letters.”
He favorably examines the teachings of a few of these Kabbalistic  scholars—men
such as 12
th
century Rabbi Moses ben Nachmanides, and 18
th
century rabbi, Eliyahu ben Shlomo or Vilna Gaon. Who are these men and
what did they teach? According to the Jewish Virtual Library:

Nachmanides had a strong mystical bent.

His biblical commentaries are the first ones to incorporate the mystical
teachings of kabbalah.
[i]

Christian apologist John
Weldon, in Decoding the Bible Code, reports that Rabbi Vilna Gaon “was
subject to strong occult influences” such as “mysticism, mystical revelations,
‘angels, and other celestial beings,’ the dead, and out of body experiences.”
[ii]

The beliefs of these and other
twelfth and thirteenth century sages are examined in The Kabbalah: An
Illustrated Introduction to the Esoteric Heart of Jewish Mysticism
:

They and
their followers believed that the Word of God, as delineated in the Torah (the
book of Mosaic law), could give the power to heal the flesh and drive out evil
and sickness. Their teachings were recorded in the Sepher Hasidim….
According to the book, the Word was hidden from plain sight, where
only the worthy and pure
could locate it…. [They] devoted themselves to
scrutinizing the Torah for hidden codes
. Each mark and letter of the
Torah was counted, analyzed, given a value and manipulated.
Words that added
to the same number were seen as equivalent at the least, andperhaps as
revealing a special new wisdom.
This technique was called Gematria,
and its adepts were know as Baal Shem, “Masters of the Word.”
[iii]
[italics in original, bold added]

According to Kabbalists, “only
the worthy and pure could locate” the hidden codes. Similarly, in Missler’s book
Cosmic Codes, only the scientifically and mathematically astute and
credentialed
can locate and decode these purported hidden Bible codes. Note
that this belief that only an elect group can glean hidden or coded truths runs
contrary to a foundational teaching of the First Reformation, which taught:

VII. All
things in Scripture are not alike plain in themselves, nor alike clear unto all;
yet those things which are necessary to be known, believed, and observed, for
salvation, are so clearly propounded and opened in some place of
Scripture or other, that not only the learned, but the unlearned, in a
due use of the ordinary means, may attain unto a sufficient
understanding
of them. (The Westminster Confession)

THE CRYPTIC
ELITE

In explaining his
qualifications and motivations to write such a book, note the first things
listed in Chuck Missler’s brief resume:

…[V]ery
few of the popular treatments of this intriguing subject evidence any
background in cryptology,
which is precisely the science at issue.
Having spent a 30-year career in both military and civilian pursuits in advanced
communication and information science technologies—including deeply
classified ventures in the intelligence field
—and, also, having more than
three decades in serious Biblical studies, I felt that a broader approach to the
subject of hidden messages was appropriate.
[iv]
[bold added]

One must raise the question:
does a background in the “science of cryptology” and “deeply classified ventures
in the intelligence field” trump the Holy Spirit and the plain Word of God?
Missler lists “several brilliant mathematical explorers” (scientists)
responsible for the most recent wave of Bible (Torah) code examinations:

...Doron
Witztum, an ultra-Orthodox Jewish Torah scholar who had been a graduate
student specializing in general relativity; Eliyahu Rips, a Lithuanian émigré
and world-class mathematician in group theory; Prof. Daniel Michelson,
maintaining appointments both in the Department of Mathematics at UCLA as well
as the Hebrew University in Jerusalem; and Gerald Schroeder, an MIT
physicist, a participant in six atomic bomb tests, and who has worked for the
Department of Defense, the Atomic Energy Commission, and the UN.
(I had the
delightful privilege of celebrating Passover in Gerry’s home in Jerusalem many
years ago, and it was he who first introduced me to the “Torah codes.”)
185

[v]

Are readers to assume that an
atomic bomb physicist (working with the Department of Defense and the United
Nations)—and an apparently unbelieving Jew—has a unique ability to decode
hidden biblical messages that are out-of-reach to a Spirit-filled believer
simply reading the text? This seems to be the suggestion.

Under the subheading, “The Big
Guns Take a Look,” Missler also lists a National Security Agent (NSA) expert in
un-cracking codes, Dr. Harold Gans:

Dr. Harold
Gans has been a senior mathematician with

the most
prestigious cryptology institution in the world,

the National Security Agency (NSA)…[He] is a brilliant mathematician who has
published over 190 technical papers (most of them classified), and has headed up
teams of the top mathematicians, cryptanalysts, programmers, and
engineers, solving problems previously considered virtually uncrackable.

[bold mine][vi]

Without further information,
the reader is left to guess at Dr. Gans’ faith, if any.
[vii]

In answering anyone who raises
questions about the elevation of scientific “big guns” to the place of spiritual
advisors, Missler initially seems to agree: “[It] is not God’s ‘style’ to put us
at the mercy of experts, or elitist of any kind.” He even quotes 1 Corinthians
1:26-29:

“For ye
see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many
mighty, not many noble, are called: but God hath chosen the foolish things of
the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world
to confound the things which are mighty; and base things of the world, and
things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to
bring to nought things that are: that no flesh should glory in his presence.”
[viii]

However, in the immediate
paragraphs following—in what appears to be a dialectic slight-of-hand—Missler
accuses his critics of “scriptural myopia,” and “naiveté.” Missler is referring
to “ELS,” which stands for “Equidistant Letter Sequences,” which is a
complicated counting letter pattern that is said to reveal a hidden

code. Missler wrote:

There are
some serious concerns over the ELS codes. Among these, however, are some
concerns which we feel are disturbingly myopic. There are some critics of
the ELS codes who feel that God has nothing in His Word that the common
person cannot understand
. This places a strange constraint upon God…it is
very myopic and naïve
to infer that only things, which can be understood
by the rank and file are in God’s Word
.
[ix]
[Emphasis added]

So once again only the
code-breaker elite trained in secret decoding methods are qualified to decipher
encrypted Bible messages, while “common” and “rank and file” Christians are just
being “disturbingly myopic” and
“naïve”?Note
that the issue is not over the “understanding” of the deep things of God, which
is accessible to every believer through the plain reading God’s Word (Ephesians
3:4: “Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of
Christ”
). The issue is rather that the technically elite have been elevated
to a sort of priesthood regarding the decryption of these so-called hidden
messages in the Bible. The truth is that

•
No believer,
before glorification, will ever understand all mysteries that are hidden in
God’s Word (perhaps we never will).

•
There are no
“classes” of Christians. Likening the “common person” to “the rank and file”
flies in the face of 1 Corinthians 1:26-29.

•
The Scripture is
open to us so that we may share the “mystery of the Gospel” of Salvation
with others (See

Eph. 6:19
,

Col. 4:3.
)

In the book Kabbalah
(cited earlier), besides indicating that “only the worthy and pure” are able to
“locate” the hidden meanings in the Torah, the author also highlights the
diligence required in these decrypting practices:

…[these
men] devoted themselves to scrutinizing the Torah for hidden codes.
Each mark and letter of the Torah was counted, analyzed, given a value and
manipulated.
Words that added to the same number were seen as equivalent at
the least, and perhaps as revealing a special new wisdom. This technique
was called Gematria, and its adepts were know as Baal Shem, “Masters of
the Word.”
[x]

The underlying motivation for
such beliefs is explained by a second century rabbi named Akiba Ben Joseph
(Rabbi Akiva), the founder of rabbinic Judaism:

Akiva
believed that every letter, punctuation mark and even decorative flourish of the
Holy Scriptures had been inspired by God, and that he study of such minutiae
could reveal the truths of God’s laws
.[xi]

Compare Rabbi Akiva’s ideas
above with those of Chuck Missler, who wrote in Cosmic Codes that:

…[T]he
more we investigate, the more we discover that the books of the Bible are
actually elements of a highly integrated message system in which every detail,
every number, every name, even the elemental structures within the text itself,
are clearly the result of intricate and skillful “engineering.” [pg. 86]

In the
Biblical record, every detail, every place name, every number, has been tailored
by deliberate design…Deciphering these codes is our ultimate challenge.
[pg. 218, bold mine]

(Unfortunately for Rabbi Akiva,
his textual manipulations led him to announce a false Messiah, Simon bar Kochba.
[xii])

To underscore the importance
that Missler places on these Kabbalist mystics, note the following favorable
comments he made in his book Cosmic Codes:

“Towering
behind all of these [Jewish mystics] was one of the greatest Jewish sages of all
time, Rabbi Moses ben Nachman of Gerona in Catalonia…. Known as Nachmanides
—and
by the acronym Ramban… (Nachmanides also inferred, from Genesis 1, that our
universe has ten dimensions. This appears to anticipate the very insights
currently recognized by particle physicists…).” [pg. 124]

“…[A]
more recent prodigy, Rabbi Michael Ber Weissmandl… acquired a Torah commentary
written by a 13th century sage, Rabbenu Bachya ben Asher of Saragossa, in Spain.
Fascinated by Bachya’s cryptic asides, and allusions to decryptions (literally,
kabbalah, in Hebrew), for the rest of his life, Weissmandl maintained his
certainty that divinely ordered information was embedded within the Torah by
means of Bachya’s description of the skipping of equal intervals of letters….”
[pg. 125]

Where will these extra-biblical
occult techniques lead others who follow them? History provides us some
answers.

For example, the Kabbalah
eventually became a mystical cargo that Spanish Jews and Christian Gnostics
brought with them to America during Columbus’ historic voyage. They “leapt on it
as the lost secrets that would allow access to the very innermost mysteries of
the Bible.” A Christian Gnostic by the name of Pico della Mirandola, “was
convinced that Kabbalistic study—particularly gematria and the other
analytical techniques—could verify the scientific truth of Christianity.”
[xiii]
[italics added]

Adepts of both the Kabbalah and
Gnosticism seek extra-biblical revelation or knowledge—esoteric and hidden
knowledge that is forbidden by God.
[xiv]
Note that even at this early time religious, but misguided, men were seeking
spiritual wisdom through “scientific” methods.

NUMBER
MYSTICISM

The Book of Divination

names one of these scientific methods “numerology,” or “number
mysticism.” It was discovered by the 6
th
century Greek mathematician Pythagoras, who believed that “[t]he numeral
relations among things was… the motive force of the universe.” Numerology is a
form of divination used widely in the occult world. It is often connected with
astrology (birth dates, e.g.) and it is used “to discover the secret passageways
that connect all things,” i.e., to divine esoteric knowledge by mystical means
using numbers.
[xv]

Although numerology is clearly
a form of occult divination, there is a legitimate study of numbers as it
relates to the Bible. John Weldon informs us that:

The Bible
clearly uses numbers in a conventional and rhetorical sense, and as far as these
are concerned, the study of biblical numerology is legitimate.
4
We also occasionally find numbers used symbolically—such as the number 7 in
Revelation 3:18
5—but
we never find numbers used mystically—that is, with hidden meanings
that can illuminate the text or reveal the future
.
[xvi]
[bold added]

James Jacob Prasch of Moriel
Ministries, a Hebrew-speaking evangelist to the Jews and highly respected Bible
teacher, explains further:

Clearly
there is a remarkable numerical coding to the Bible and this has a valid and
potentially valuable application in evangelical apologetics… [but] we must
separate that which is biblical and what is not. Certainly symbolic numbers…have
a meaning in biblical typology. This has always been known…. In Formula
Citations (Old Testament prophecies being fulfilled in the life experience of
Jesus) and in Biblical Genealogies, numerical values and patterns re-enforce a
textual meaning. But nowhere is Gematria used as a basis of doctrine or
prophecy…. We must recognize these aspects of biblical numerics which have
validity. Some though, again take it further than scripture does, arriving at
wild conclusions.

The
allegedly secret meanings of words or phrases in Jewish mysticism are derived
from understanding their numerical values. In Zohar, Kabbalistic
interpretations
of numbers are not uncommon, but this derives from the
occult practice of numerology
, which is pagan and Hellenistic in origin….
With the help of a computer, one might be able to ‘discover’ another coherent
text keeping to a fixed system of numerical pattern as scripture does….

However,
one could take almost any original Hebrew text… and devise an alpha-numeric
pattern that will reveal what are supposedly cryptic messages or predictions. In
Hebrew this would be relatively simple because, unlike Greek or Latin, Hebrew
has no vowels, only consonants.  So it is easy to make words. In dealing with
prophecy and deeper significance in a biblical text, God’s Word does not use
alpha-numerics
….
[xvii]
[bold mine]

In an entire chapter devoted to
examining numerology, numerics, and gematria, Chuck Missler
acknowledges the dangers of relying on the mystical elements in his cryptic
endeavors, but ends his analysis with this disturbing conclusion that seems to
override his concerns:”
[xviii]

But, the
deeper question remains. Does the Bible use numbers in a mystical sense? The
Kabbalists held that every detail in the Torah was significant. So did
the Lord
(Matthew 5:17:17-18). Many will, of course, accuse us of
“mysticism,” and we make only faint apology. Paul and John clearly were
“mystics
[xix]
[bold, italics mine]

Are the teachings of the Lord
Jesus Christ, and the apostles Paul and John comparable to the mystical
Kabbalists! Were they “mystics?” We think not!
[xx]
A few paragraphs later, Missler exhorts his readers to “cling to the whole
of Scripture as our fixed point of reference.”
[xxi]
But given the context, one must ask if, by italicizing the word “whole
Missler is alluding to the Bible plusencrypted Bible codes as
Holy Writ
? This then raises an additional important question:

Is this teaching on hidden
cosmic codes a way to expand beyond the plain text of the Bible in order to
accommodate new messages, new meanings, new “words” from God? Will this open the
Canon to new eschatologies? New end-time scenarios?

The potential answer is
disconcerting. Missler suggests that the advent of the modern computer era will
enhance the decoding of these supposed hidden messages in the Bible. It is
suggested that earlier generations in the church didn’t have access to
mechanical devices like computers that would facilitate the decoding of these
“hidden” new words from God. So now in our era we have more revelation? In the
following quotes from Cosmic Codes, keep in mind that the mixture of
scientific technology plus mysticism forms the basis of Quantum Spirituality:

It is
fascinating to reflect on the history of the codes. From the Hebrew scribe’s
obsession with textual precision emerged a mystical tradition that also led,
intensified by the crucible of persecution, to the arcana of cryptography,
which, when assisted with mechanical devices, ultimately led to the
modern computer, which is now apparently revealing the codes hidden there
from the very beginning
….

[pg. 130]

As
computers were born in the cradle of the cryptography, the ellipsis of history
now seems to be closing. It was the sequential development of three areas of
modern interest
—cryptology,
mathematical statistics, and machine computation
—that
has emerged from the ancient encoding techniques of the Jewish sages

who first discovered codes in the Torah so long ago…. Has cryptography now
also joined these other sciences to reveal what Bible scholars have been
trumpeting for generations
? Is the Bible really a message from beyond the
edge of infinity, carrying a preemptive personal relevance for each of us?
[pg.
135]

BIBLE CODE
CONTROVERSIES

Bible code teaching is not new.
There are other authors who have capitalized on the Bible code idea over the
years. Chuck Missler distances himself from Michael Drosnin, the
discredited author of the best-selling book, The Bible Code.
[xxii]
However, Missler admittedly “draws heavily” from the works of other Bible code
proponents: Rabbi Yakov Rambsel (His Name is Jesus: The Mysterious
Yeshua Codes
), Grant Jeffrey (Signature of God), and
Jeffrey Satinover
(Cracking the Bible Code).
[xxiii]

Both John Weldon and the
authors Clifford and Barbara Wilson discredit the works of Rambsel and Jeffrey,
citing a researcher who consulted Dr. Harold Gans, the NSA cryptologist
mentioned earlier: “We showed Rambsel and Jeffrey’s statistical computations…
simply disregard universally accepted scientific claims. There is not even one
statistical claim or computation in their books that is normatically rigorous or
true….”
[xxiv]

Missler introduces Dr.
Satinover of Cracking the Bible Code:

Further
public awareness was then added with Dr. Jeffrey Satinover’s article in Bible
Review in October 1995.
194
Dr. Satinover is an expert in mathematics, physics, and clinical psychiatry; he
is a former Williams James lecturer in Psychology and Religion at Harvard; has
degrees from MIT, Harvard Graduate School of Education and the University of
Texas. He reported that the mathematical probability of these 66 names of Jewish
sages, with the dates of their birth or death, in an ancient text such as
Genesis, was less than one chance in 2.5 billion.
[xxv]

Concerning Dr. Satinover’s
beliefs,
note the comments made by critics Weldon and the Wilsons in
Decoding the Bible Code
:

Both
Drosnin and Satinover discuss how the paradoxical findings of quantum
mechanics relate to the Bible Code
. For example, in particle physics, the
indeterminacy of the position of an electron is paralleled to the indeterminacy
of the Bible code as it relates, for example, to multiple predictions or other
“fuzzy” aspects of the code.

[pg. 59;
bold added]

It is the
parallels between quantum mechanics and the Bible code that causes
Satinover to conclude, “God lays out the broad pattern of history, acts
in the world alongside us, [but willingly] ‘contracts’ some portions of His
omnipotence
so that we may be granted the gift of genuine freedom.”

[pg. 60;
bold added]

Satinover
also implies that the Bible codes contain infinite knowledge
7
and
are multilevel
—“the
codes were but one face of a dazzling multifaceted jewel with depths beyond
understanding.”
8
Billions of skip codes, leading to billions of messages, and even different
levels and dimensions
. All of this boggles the mind.

[pg. 84;
bold added]

…And even
in Satinover’s serious work, we find certain occult expressions: “There
is no such thing as a single fixed reality—all phenomena and experience are
unpredictable, fuzzy.”…”To learn the template [of existence] is to make
present both past and future
; to study sacred history is to see the eternal
in the mundane.”
29
[pg. 123; bold added]

As Dr.
Satinover points out, “The claim that the codes existed in the Torah lay
at the very heart of Kabbalah…”

[pg. 119;
bold added]

Besides linking the Bible codes
to New Age physics and to a “God” who “contracts” portions of His omnipotence,
Satinover’s apparent connection to occult teachings is alarming. The Decoding
the Bible Code
authors ask the important question: “What are the
implications if the concept of Bible codes was revealed from an occult
source—especially one having a hidden agenda?”
[xxvi]

And we must ask the obvious
question: Why is Chuck Missler “drawing heavily” from a man with such obvious
occult beliefs and incorporating them into his Koinonia Institute study text?

Although only evident in the
Appendices to Cosmic Codes,
[xxvii]
Missler also incorporates extensive material from Anglican clergyman and
Ultra-Dispensationalist, E.W. Bullinger, who died in 1913. Among Bullinger’s
books are, The Witness of the Stars, “an in-depth study of the
constellations and principle stars as they pertain to prophetic truth…”
[xxviii]andNumber
in Scripture: Its Supernatural Design and Spiritual Significance,
“a classic
reference book on biblical numerology [providing] a complete synopsis of the
spiritual significance of numbers found in the Bible.”
[xxix]
Even the titles sound mystical and astrological, not biblical.

According the late Dr. Harry
Ironside, Bullinger’s The Companion Bible, “contains interpretations
which are utterly subversive of the truth.”
[xxx]
Ironside warned:

Some of
Dr. Bullinger’s positions are glaringly opposed to what is generally accepted as
orthodox teaching, as, for instance, the sleep of the soul between death and
resurrection
… [M]ost of his followers in Great Britain have gone
off into annihilation
, and there is quite a sect in America who began
with his teaching who now are restorationists
of the broadest type,teaching
what they are pleased to call universal reconciliation…[bold added]

Considering the dire effects of
Bullinger’s teachings upon his followers, one can only wonder what direction
Missler’ quantum mysticism might lead his students. 2 Peter 2:1 warns the
church: “But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will
also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive
heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction
upon themselves.”
Commenting on this Scripture, Jacob Prasch states:

As
Scripture warns, God does not like a mixture. The Hebrews could not make
a garment of wool and flax (Dt. 22:11). In Laodicea there was the hot water and
the cold—“I wish you were either cold or hot.” But when there is a mixture—the
lukewarm—it is spit out (Rev. 3:16). Forget about the argument there is “some”
good in it, that there is “some” truth in it, so “we’ll take the ‘good’ bits.”
That is man’s wisdom, not God’s. “A little leaven leavens the whole lump”
(1 Co. 5:6; Gal. 5:9). But it says when they do this [mix truth with error] they
will deny “the Master who bought them.”
[xxxi]
[bold added]

CRACKING THE
GENESIS CODE

How far and wide has Missler’s
quantum mysticism already spread? In our article published a year ago, “
Doomsday
Datesetters 2012,
”
we explained how this was connecting with the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR)
and its aberrant beliefs:

In July of
2007, discernment author Jackie Alnor wrote an Apostasy Alert article
called, “Quantum Alchemy,” exposing the “Quantum Leap-2 Conference” co-sponsored
by the

NAR-affiliated Elijah List
.
In her article, Alnor expressed concerns that Missler was one of the featured
speakers of the event and wondered if he “could be a bridge builder between the
two camps… [Calvary Chapel and Kansas City Prophets],” saying:

Missler
sharing the stage with mystics and false prophets could stumble many young
believers who could assume Missler’s involvement was an endorsement of any and
all teaching and actions that might occur. Since the names Chuck Smith and
Calvary Chapel were used in the advertising [Missler taught the Bible under
Smith for over 25 years], could this be a ploy to draw in unsuspecting
Christians to a gathering where deceiving spirits are welcome? …Will Missler
speak up against these dark teachings when he takes the platform or will he go
on as if they’re all one big happy family?[55]

That
question has been answered.
[xxxii]

An online poster advertising
the

Quantum Leap 2 Conference

announced:

We plan to
go into uncharted territory. We will embark on a journey to explore the
mystery of color, light, and sound
. This road has been traversed by
scientists and mystics alike
. This conference will blend science and
theology, and is designed to release divine creativity.
[xxxiii]
[bold, italics added]

It was at the Quantum Leap 2
Conference that Chuck Missler made contact with New Apostolic Reformation (NAR)
teacher David van Koevering,
writer,
minister, motivational speaker, inventor, visionary, musicologist, who is also a
quantum physicist. Van Koevering’s teachings include “The Physics of
Worship” and “The Science of God Sounds.”
[xxxiv]

There are more connections. Van
Koevering quotes Missler in the August 7 issue of Elijah Rain Magazine,
“Keys to Taking Your Quantum Leap”:

It is
believed that the speed of light is 186,000 miles per second…. That means that
light may have been ten to thirty percent faster in the time of Christ; twice as
fast in the days of Solomon; and four times as fast in the days of Abraham.
My friend Chuck Missler says
,

“That
would imply that the velocity of light was more than ten million times faster
prior to 3,000 B.C. This possibility would also alter our concepts of time
and the age of the universe. The universe might actually be less than 10,000
years old!”

That
sounds like a quantum leap to me!

Before the
fall, God had created one realm from gravity waves to His glory. This present
human realm is up through the electromagnetic spectrum to the speed of light
….
In the Garden of Eden, when mankind sinned, was cursed in the fall
downward, and lost upper bandwidth and spiritual consciousness,
light
slowed down even more….

[bold
italics added, Scripture bold in original]
[xxxv]

This quote is disturbing
because the

NAR false prophets and apostle

leaders desire to

tinker with Genesis 1
,

reversing the effects

of

the Fall
,
and

restoring paradise

so that they can have

dominion
.
This quote indicates that some of them may have the hope that by tinkering with
quantum physics they might discover a “scientific” way to change time and space.
To underscore the interconnections, a portion of Missler’s quote is found in
Cosmic Codes
—in a chapter devoted to “hyper-holograms,” “hyperspaces,” and
“Chaos Theory.”
[xxxvi]
And Missler also incorporates elements of quantum “sound theory” with the Hebrew
alphabet in Cosmic Codes.
[xxxvii]

The Quantum Spirituality theory
that time itself can be altered seems to lead straight into science fiction. In
his 1997 book Alien Encounters: the Secret Behind the UFO Phenomenon,
Chuck Missler and co-author Mark Eastman suggested that:

We live in
an age when the very nature of time is only beginning to be understood.
The concepts of time warps, time travel, and the like are no longer the
plaything of fiction writers, but the serious study of particle physicists,
cosmologists, and other scientists
. So, before we go further in our
exploration of hyperspace and UFOs, we need to shed the baggage of some
additional misconceptions that may hinder our understanding. [pg. 222]

Notice yet again how Missler
suggests that in order to embrace these new beliefs one must “shed the baggage”
of “misconceptions” that might “hinder” understanding these new things. And note
how these ideas could head straight into new eschatologies that incorporate
UFOs. Previously I have written about Chuck Missler’s associate Tom Horn and his
call for “techno-dimensional spiritual warfare” in order engage “pagan deities”
and other creatures that

return in 2012
.
(See

HERE
.)

Sadly, Chuck Missler brings
these mystical and destructive teachings with him to platforms around the
country, such as the conservative Red River Bible and Prophecy Conference in
Fargo-Moorhead,
[xxxviii]
Missler’s Strategic Perspectives Conference in Lakeland, FL (home of the
Lakeland/Todd Bentley false revival)

[xxxix]
with
paranormal teacher Tom Horn, and the 2012 Prophecy Summit in Branson, MO, with
Horn, Gary Stearman, et al.
[xl]
Missler’s quantum mysticism will also continue to infiltrate the church at large
through his many books, articles, DVDs, videos, speaking engagements, website,
training institute, and even Bible version.
[xli]

O
Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain
babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some

E
schatology
is changing.

Scripture no longer
seems sufficient to many believers who are now beginning to incorporate the
added elements of mythology, science fiction, technology, apocrypha, ancient
occult prophecies, ghost stories, Freemasonry, fables and pure fiction. All of
these additions go far beyond Scripture and result in creating an entirely new
theology, particularly a new hybrid eschatology about the Lord’s return.

This new eschatology
theology is Hollywoodized. It is very dramatic and exciting. It includes
speculations about the return of extraterrestrials, space aliens, mythological
creatures, Nephilim, star wars, and other fantastic events and strange entities.
This new eschatology seems more like reading Marvel Comics, or listening to

Art Bell’s

old Coast to Coast radio program, or watching

The Avengers
and other recent Hollywood films of its genre.

Quantum Physics, new
theories about the space/time continuum, and newly emerging technologies are
rapidly being incorporated into biblical prophecy. There are wild speculations
abounding about human hybrids. And there is increasing credence in the

old Mayan prophecies

about the significance of the

year 2012

All of this is changing
popular End-Time Biblical Prophecy scenarios. Many sincere believers, who
formerly would have shuddered to think of adding in occult prophecies to the
what the Bible already tells us, now seem entranced by the mixture. They are
captivated by these dramatic imageries.

But is all
thisbiblical?

Is this what Jesus told
us about His return?

These
questions and more will be addressed at an upcoming conference sponsored by
Discernment Ministries in Niles, Michigan, June 21-23:

QUANTUM MYSTICISM

2012 & BEYOND

Understanding the Deception

This conference is a research
conference. We will be examining these issues in an in-depth way. The presenters
will explain it so that anyone can understand it. You will receive important
information that you need to help you to defend the faith and refute these
emerging heresies. The presentations will contain helpful graphic images to
illustrate their points. Gaylene Goodroad, who has been writing this current
series on Herescope, will be presenting her research.

Quantum Mysticism

is not a new topic for us. Several years ago the Discernment Research Group
embarked upon a research project about the rise of Quantum Spirituality. It
first came into the church via Leonard Sweet, who wrote a book back in 1991
titled Quantum Spirituality: A Postmodern Apologetic, a book which has
been reviewed extensively by well-known critic of the New Age Movement, Warren
B. Smith.
[1]
Leonard Sweet would go on to become an influential leader in Leadership Network.
He was instrumental in the formation of its Emergent Church Movement which also
promotes mysticism.
[2]

The concept of Quantum
Spirituality came back on our radar screen a few years ago, instigated by the
discovery that the popular bestselling fiction book The Shack and a movie
called The Seeker both contained “Fractal Theory,” a major concept in the
new physics.
[3] Warren
Smith will be presenting his latest, very relevant research to the conference.

Pastor Larry DeBruyn began
researching and writing about Quantum Spirituality in the church and this
resulted in a 6-part series that we ran on Herescope in the Fall of 2010.
[4]
He will be updating this issue in a series of three talks at the conference.

Dr. Martin Erdmann is an
expert in the new Techno/Spiritual Science that is emerging, particularly
Nanotechnology and Transhumanism. As a senior scientist he was involved in a
research project (Clinical Nanomedicine) at the University Hospital in Basel for
five years. He began warning the church about the implications of this.
[5]
Dr. Erdmann will be
making some very important contributions to this conference by sharing his
historical and technological expertise with us.

Quantum
Eschatology
,[6]Quantum
Mysticism
,
Quantum Spirituality
. . . . These are cutting edge topics in the postmodern
church age. It is coming in like a flood. The church is being deceived at a
rapid rate into incorporating these new/old elements of science, technology,
mythology, mysticism, paranormal and occultism into a volatile and corrupted
mixture.

But I fear, lest by any
means,

as the serpent beguiled
Eve through his subtilty,

so your minds should be
corrupted

from the simplicity that
is in Christ.

Quantum Teleporting Through Time

COSMS, CODES, AND CRYPTOLOGIES, Part 5

By Gaylene
Goodroad

There
seems to be evidence to suggest that our world and everything in it are also
only ghostly images, projections from a level of reality so beyond our
own that the real reality is literally beyond both space and time. The
main architect of this astonishing idea includes one of the world’s most eminent
thinkers—University of London physicist David Bohm, a protege of Einstein’s and
one of the world’s most respected quantum physicists…. Bohm’s interpretation
of quantum physics indicated that at the subquantum level location
ceased to exist
. All points in space become equal to all other points in
space, and it was meaningless to speak of anything as being separate from
anything else. Physicists call this property “nonlocality.”
—Chuck
Missler, Cosmic Codes, pp. 338-339

[bold
added]

Science
now says that past, present, and future all exist at the same time, and
that every point in three-dimensional space is equally distant from every other
point. Time-space is an interwoven whole…. Atoms entangled at the quantum
level could be on opposite sides of the galaxy, and still react to each other at
the same instant. Thus, at a very deep level, there exists a universal
connection between all things

 —Gary
Stearman, Time Travelers of the Bible, p. 444

QUANTUM
COLLABORATORS

B
efore
exploring the full-fledged occult outgrowth and ultimate end product of quantum
mystical teachings in the church, it should be emphasized that these heretical
ideas will only proliferate as Christians attend conferences, read books, and
view video presentations by men who, like Chuck Missler, collaborate with other
influential and like-minded teachers, authors, and speakers. Quantum Mysticism
with its newly

emerging End-Time Eschatology

is a rapidly growing movement in evangelicaldom, and many are jumping on the
marketing bandwagon.

One such prominent leader in
this movement is Tom Horn. The reach of these two men together—Chuck Missler and
Tom Horn—cannot be overstated. As mentioned in

part one

of this article series and in

previous writings
,
Tom Horn is significantly connected with Chuck Missler’s quantum mysticism—and
it is Horn’s teachings that form the underpinning of the

false 2012 doomsday prophecies
,
the

Latter Rain

inspired

warfare prayer heresy

(dealing with territorial spirits, extra-terrestrials, pagan mythology, and the

Nephilim
)—and
the

emerging
quantum
eschatology
which
will be examined in more detail later in this series.

Evidence of these strange
teachings can be found in Missler’s Introduction to Horn’s 2011 book, God’s
Ghostbusters
. In this Introduction, Missler uses the vehicle of Horn’s
collaborative book to lay the quantum mystical foundation for the existence of
every dark creature of pagan myth, sci-fi fantasy, and horror monster—including
vampires, werewolves, and alien life. Missler wrote:

Paranormal
events may be the result of trans-dimensional interactions…. Does the
“Paranormal” lie within the margins between the “Metacosm” and the virtual
reality established by the digital stimulation? Why should we be surprised by
trans-dimensional phenomena when we get glimpses of them in cloud chambers of
the physicists?
How much of our discounted history is the record of
trans-dimensional events? How much of our understanding will rely on competence
in hyperspatial constructs and characteristics? How will our
Euclidianpresuppositions limit our horizons when encountering Riemannian
geometry? What are the tools to discern between insights and discoveries and the
deceits and illusions?
[i]
[bold added]

Note that in this new quantum
worldview it is implied that emerging science will shape our understanding of
the Bible, and not vice versa. The truth is that the Lord, by His Spirit, will
equip believers to discern between any of these “deceits and illusions.” But
Missler, Horn, and the authors who collaborated with this publication (and many
others of this genre), seem to be saying, “forget what you know or have been
taught about these things… and listen to new truths as they are being revealed.”

But should we tread where Scripture is silent… or even warns us to flee?

What are the implications of
abandoning God’s Word to seek dark, foreboding, and hidden dimensions? Sadly,
these authors do not spell out these “risks,” but instead lure unsuspecting
readers beyond the safety of God’s Word and straight into quantum mysticism… and
beyond. Rather than warn readers about the dire spiritual consequences of
delving into the murky mists of occult lore, Missler says just the opposite:

…[L]et’sblindfold
our prejudices
from the myths of the past, and let’s approach these
areas with a humility borne of a broader perspective. Let’s, indeed, take a
peak outside and look beyond the comfort of the four-dimensional  playpen we’ve
been confined to
…but let’s also appreciate the risks.
[ii][bold
added]

Both Horn and Missler are
high-profile, well-established and influential quantum collaborators. Besides
being an author, radio host, and conference speaker, Tom Horn is also a
successful Christian publisher (Anomalos/Defender)
[iii]
who has also published numerous of his own books that purport wild and
speculative interpretations of Scripture heavily embellished with extra-biblical
revelation—including apocryphal, mythological, and event occult literature.
Missler’s work is included in several of these writings. Here is a sampling of

To further illustrate the
gravity and extensive reach of the quantum deceptions that have come into the
church by these men, it is necessary to examine other notable Christian authors
who are working alongside them as quantum collaborators. Many saints have fallen
headlong into the occult realm under the banner of quantum physics, often under
the influence of Tom Horn and Chuck Missler—and many leaders are taking sheep
with them. This is a serious time in the church.

ASTRAL
PROJECTION and BI-LOCATION

G
ary
Stearman is a jovial, grey-bearded man with a warm and disarming demeanor who
loves to tell stories—some of which have been incorporated into Horn books,
Pandemonium’s Engine
and God’s Ghostbusters.
[xvi]
Horn appears often on Stearman’s syndicated television program, Prophecy in
the News.
[xvii]

Stearman often shares the
speaking platform with Horn and Missler (e.g., Future Congress), the authorship
of several collaborative books, and is included in other ventures such as
Official Disclosure: Prepare for Contact
, a DVD set that examines the
evidence of “alien life imminent,” one of their favorite topics.
[xviii]
Tom Horn published and wrote the Foreword to Stearman’s latest book, Time
Travelers of the Bible
, released just prior to Horn’s Future Congress
conference last year in Branson, MO, where Stearman was a presenter.
[xix]
Here is an excerpt from Horn’s Foreword. Note the

paranormal aspects

of this quantum cosmology:

As you
journey with Stearman through a cosmological window past general relativity
and quantum mechanics to a world of membranes in subatomic space,
eleven-dimensional superstrings, parallel universes, mathematical
super-symmetry,
and finally, time travel, you will learn that a place
“as timeless as infinity between light and shadow” really does exist, and that
certain travelers actually ventured into this great beyond only to return
to offer glimpses of what they discovered about the past, present, and future,
as well as relativity of these dimensions to what the Bible calls “hades,”
“heaven,” and “eternity.” These voyagers were willed to this
other-dimensional plane
by the Master of Time Himself, the God of biblical
prophecy…
[xx][bold
added]

In Hornesque fashion, Stearman
combines quantum physics, extra-biblical literature, Kabbalistic mystical
writings—and his own background in aeronautical engineering and an encounter
with a UFO
[xxi]—to
promote the outlandish idea that the Hebrew prophets and other biblical “time
travelers” were given access through multi-dimensional

portals

in time/space—in the “historical hologram”—to not only see the future,
but experience it in their bodies in the future.
[xxii]
Speaking of Ezekiel,
Stearman writes:

The spot
upon which he stood was not merely a geographic location; it was, in fact, a
time/space coordinate…. He was a time traveler.
[xxiii]

According to Stearman, even the
Lord Jesus is a time traveler:

On that
first Sunday, then, all He had to do was walk to the designated spot in the
disciples’ room and stand there… a few moments in the future. That is, a
few seconds prior to the time of His appearance, He was already there.
Then, He simply stood still in time, allowing the present to “catch up”
with Him. At a preordained moment, all He had to do was begin to move again in
synchronism with the flow of time…. It is reasonable to say that He had appeared
from their future.
[xxiv]
[italics in original]

This sounds more like an
episode from Star Trek or Back to the Future than an exposition
from the Bible. But Stearman’s book is not mere science fiction entertainment—it
is false teaching
—and it is very popular right now. His Time
Travelers of the Bible—
and the quantum spirituality it contains—could be
appearing at any conference book table near you. In fact, this book takes
readers on a  quantum leap into the occult realm through mysticism. What he (and
Horn) describes as “time travel” is what occultists call astral projection,
remote viewing, or dimensional translocation (bilocation
).
[xxv]

Note these comments by one
esoteric author:

For
centuries, mystics and shamans have left their physical bodies to explore higher
planes of consciousness in the astral worlds…. Astral projection is the
actual bi-location of the physical body at one place and the “energy” body in
another
. The difference is that one’s consciousness is transferred to that
“energy” body. When the “energy” body returns, the journey is remembered by the
degree of continuity of consciousness the traveler has developed. Astral
projection is used to gather knowledge.
[xxvi]
[bold added]

Jim DeKorne, author of
Psychedelic Shamanism
, has written an article for Esolibris.com,
called “Astral Projection: the Out-of-Body Experience as Dimensional
Translocation.” Here is an excerpt:

…[H]ere is
another observance by William Buhlman, the out-of-body explorer

who…
defined his experiences within the context of modern quantum theory
:
“The tunnel experience is much more significant than most people
recognize. Not only does it provide substantial evidence of a logical
transitional method for consciousness after physical death, but it directly
relates to the modern physics theories concerningparallel universes and energy
wormholes
, as well as to my observations concerning the multidimensional
universe
[xxvii]
[bold added]

Mr. Buhlman is an apparent
“time traveler,” who claims to have passed through an “energy wormhole”
(tunnel/portal) and entered another dimension—a parallel universe. In his view,
quantum physics has provided “substantial evidence” of his “out-of-body”
experiences—or dimensional translocation

Another term for this occult
phenomena is “bilocation”—simultaneously being in two places at once (traveling
in time). In 2011, The Science Channel posted an article on bilocation
purporting that Pythagoras, the ancient Greek philosopher, mystic, and
mathematician (570 -490 B.C.), experienced this phenomenon—among other notable
mystics, like Padre Pio.
[xxviii]
Relying upon Roman Catholic sources, the author reported:

Padre Pio,
the 20
th-century
Italian stigmatic [bore Christ’s wounds], once materialized in midair over
the city of San Giovanni Rotondo during World War II
to deter U.S. bombers
from attacking the city, and after the war sometimes mysteriously showed up on
distant continents, leaving behind a peculiar aroma—some described it as
tobacco, while others smelled the scent of roses—that emanated from his
crucifixion-like wounds.
[xxix]
[bold added]

Using a 1912 edition of the
Catholic Encyclopedia
, the article explains “mystical bilocation,” or the
term used by Catholic clerics “circumscriptive replication”:

circumscriptive replication
—that
is, the idea that a physical body can remain a single entity, but somehow
miraculously be relieved of its spatial relationship to other bodies, objects
and/or locations, thus allowing the person to appear to witnesses in
multiple locations.
[xxx]
[bold added]

The “Venerable Mary of Agreda,”
a cloistered 17
th
century mystic nun, apparently experienced “circumscriptive
replication”—dimensional translocation—or bilocation. While never setting foot
outside her Spanish abbey, it is claimed she mystically bilocated to the
American Southwest (between 1620-1631) in order to spread the teachings of Roman
Catholicism, appearing as a “Lady in Blue.”
[xxxi]
(Note: “The Lady in Blue,” was given national attention in 2004, during the
production of Mel Gibson’s The Passion of the Christ, because Gibson used
the nun’s mystical writings on the life of the Catholic Mary to write his
screenplay.)
[xxxii]

The Science Channel

article on bilocation concludes that

…this
seemingly ethereal phenomenon actually has a scientific explanation: quantum
physics
, which prods us to re-envision reality as a collection of
probabilities rather than as a single, fixed truth.
[xxxiii]”
[bold in original]

To“re-envision reality as a
collection of probabilities rather than as a single, fixed truth,” eliminates
the final authority and sufficiency of Scripture.

2012 and the
SPACE/TIME CONTINUUM

T
o
underscore how far these quantum collaborators have taken these ideas about
bilocation, note Chuck Missler’s words below:

As we
begin to explore subatomic particles, we encounter behavior that is
absolutely astonishing. If I take a piece of string, I can cut it in half. If I
take one of the two remaining pieces, I can cut that in half again. One would
assume that I could do this indefinitely—in concept, at least. It turns out that
it is not possible: when I reach beyond the length of 10-33 centimeters, it
loses ‘locality’; it becomes everywhere at once!.
.. Every proton in the
universe is ‘directly connected’ to every other one in the universe!

[xxxiv] [bold added]

One of my
favorite Einstein quotes is: “People like us, who believe in physics, know that
the distinction between the past, the present, and the future, is only a
stubbornly persistent illusion.”
[xxxv][bold
added]

This sounds like Eastern
Mysticism merged with Quantum Physics! Going deeper into this time warp
theology. Chuck Missler has stated:

We live in
an age when the very nature of time is only beginning to be understood.
[xxxvi]

One of the reasons that these
men could be fixated on the quantum time travel and bilocation ideas, is that
they, like the New Agers, are putting a heavy emphasis on the year 2012. These
quantum collaborators teach that our physical universe will soon be overrun by
mythological creatures and other strange entities that will travel through time
and space portals to reach planet Earth in order to fulfill its 2012 end-time
destiny. To reach these conclusions, selected elements of quantum physics are
merged with pagan mythology and a bit of biblical prophecy. This mixture quickly
begins to sound very strange. For example, Tom Horn has written:

In light
of the ancient history of Mt. Hermon and the Mayan buildings and cities
having been intentionally aligned with the Pleiades and Orion Nebula,
the return to earth of the god these terrestrial and celestial locations
are
historically connected with
—Apollo/Osiris/Nimrod—literally
seems to have been set in stone. The highest sacred number (thirty-three) of the
occultists who encoded the return of Apollo on the Great Seal of the United
States also equals: 1) the exact location where the Watchers first
descended to earth; and 2) triangulates the mile measurement 2012
—and
the end date of the Mayan countdown to the return of their bloodthirsty god
[Quetzalcoatl].
[xxxvii]

Widely
considered the most important work of Jewish Kabbalah, the Zohar is a
collection of books written in medieval Aramaic over seven hundred years ago
containing mystical commentary on the Pentateuch (five books of Moses, the
Torah). In addition to interpreting Scripture, the ‘Vaera’ section (volume 3,
section 34) includes ‘The signs heralding the Mashiach,’ or ‘The coming of the
Messiah.’ The fascinating date for ‘his’ appearance is set in the Zohar at
late 2012.
Given the rejection of Jesus by orthodox Jews as Messiah, this
coming could herald the unveiling of Antichrist in 2012.”
[xxxviii]
[ bold added]

I wrote more about this topic
in my article

Doomsday Datesetters: 2012
.
Suffice it to say that quantum mysticism forms the foundation of this new
eschatology. It should be noted that these beliefs are also shared by New Agers.
A key New Age leader, Barbara Marx Hubbard, writing about the significance of
2012 and quantum physics, has also predicted a quantum transformation:

2012

might be earthshaking and shocking to some….

If we
imagine ourselves only a few years in the future, even by 2012, providing we do
not destroy ourselves first, we see the outlines of a vastly enhanced
humanity
, applying the growing edge of human consciousness, capacities, and
evolutionary technologies to life-affirming goals, resulting in a
quantum transformation of the human species itself
.
[xxxix][bold
added]

Warren Smith, in his book A
“Wonderful” Deception
, warned extensively about the emergence of quantum
physics mixed with New Age spirituality. He concluded his warning with a solemn
message to believers:

The
apostle Paul describes the simplicity of Christ (2 Corinthians 11:3). According
to many of today’s spiritual and religious leaders, it has taken humanity 2000
years to finally “get it.” They say we need quantum physicists, cellular
biologists, Ph.D. mathematicians, New Age channelers, and emerging postmodern
preachers to finally understand what Jesus was trying to tell us back in the
first century.
No, this is not the simplicity that Paul was describing. This
is the deceptive work of our Adversary as he tries to transform the creation
into the Creator and co-opt God’s creation to himself.

Unfortunately, many of today’s pastors have forgotten that Satan is the god of
this world (2 Corinthians 4:4) and that we are to “stand against the wiles of
the devil” (Ephesians 6:11). As a result, the church is now catapulting into
great spiritual deception.

For those
who still rightly divide and depend upon the Word of God, the Bible warns that
the coming deception will be so great that most of the world will be deceived
(Revelation 13:13-14). Jesus warned that His way is not the broad way but the
“narrow way” of continuing in His Word (John 8:31). And it is His way that leads
to eternal life.

And
when these things begin to come to pass,

then
look up, and lift up your heads;

for
your redemption draweth nigh.

(Luke
21:28)

COSMS, CODES, AND CRYPTOLOGIES, Part 6

So I
went in and saw;

and
behold every form of creeping things,

and
abominable beasts,

and all
the idols of the house of Israel,

pourtrayed upon the wall round about.

(Ezekiel
8:10)

By
Gaylene Goodroad

That the
Maya prehistory echoes the advent of the mysterious Watchers, their giant
offspring, and the end date 2012 could be beyond significant. In May
2005, I commissioned [David] Flynn to write another study for my daily news
service… based on mutual research we were investigating at that time. The
article, “An Occult Translation of the Roswell Event: Countdown to 2012
was truly unprecedented and later formed the basis of Flynn’s presentation at
the 2005 Ancient of Days Conference in Roswell, New Mexico…. Like Dr. I.D.E.
Thomas [The Omega Conspiracy], Dr. Jacques F. Valee, Chuck Missler, and
others, Flynn became fascinated with the mysterious connection between Watchers,
so-called ‘aliens,’ the coming of Antichrist, the Mayan date 2012, and
the hidden occult aspiration of Freemasons and other Iluminatus
related subjects.

Rising 2012

Calculation of speed and location under the heavens is considered to be the
highest form of sacred knowledge from antiquity. Navigation unites
time with space
and the heavens with the earth…. Navigation not
only predicts the destination of a traveler on the earth but also the time a
traveler will arrive. The most powerful secret held by the occult
elite
is related to this concept taken to a higher level. As the navigator
can use increments of the earth’s latitude and longitude to determine location
in space and time, these increments can be measured in the earth itself
to reveal the appointed time of humanity’s destiny.

Translation of the Roswell Event: Countdown to 2012”

Extraterrestrial Trans-dimensional Visitations

D
avid
Flynn, Christian author and researcher of ancient mysteries and Bible prophecy,
is another “quantum collaborator” with Tom Horn and Chuck Missler. Pertaining to
the opening quotations above, an extensive excerpt of Flynn’s article, “An
Occult Translation of the Roswell Event: Countdown to 2012,”became Chapter 6 in
Horn’s book Nephilim Stargates: the Year 2012 and the Return of the Watchers.

Roswell, New Mexico
,
has great significance in UFO conspiracy folklore, based on a report that an
object crashed there in June or July 1947. This object was allegedly an
extra-terrestrial space alien spaceship. This Roswell site has gained sacred
significance as an alleged “portal,” and it features prominently in Thor,
a recent Hollywood movie about a Norse mythological god in the Marvel
Comics-inspired The Avengers movie series.

The Roswell event is also
significant to Tom Horn and Chuck Missler, because they believe that the space
aliens were actually a few of “Enoch’s Watchers” (fallen angels) who came
through the multi-dimensional portals or stargates to procreate with human
beings—so that the Nephilim could return “as in Noah’s day.” They base this idea
upon wild speculations and suppositions of Genesis 6 and Matthew 24—and heavy
doses of extra-biblical and occult writings.

According to their collective
and prolific writings, speakings, and teachings on this subject, they believe
that what happened in Roswell is happening exponentially around the world (as
indicated by the purported rise in “UFO abduction” cases and the government
cover-up of the threatening phenomena), and that these trans-dimensional
visitations will accelerate to massive proportions this year—threatening
humanity as we know it.

•

Chuck
Missler was a presenter at the Alien Encounters Conference in Roswell, NM in
1997 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the UFO incident.
[iii]

•

Tom Horn
was a presenter at the Roswell UFO Conference in Roswell, NM to commemorate the
60th anniversary of the 1947 UFO crash. He presented material from Nephilim
Stargates
.
[iv]

David Flynn’s mystical
mathematical calculations have given support to Horn and Missler’s

UFO theories
and other

strange and occult teachings.Tom
Horn has cited

David Flynn
’s
research in many of his books (Nephilim Stargates: The Year 2012 and the
Return of the Watchers,
[v]Apollyon
Rising 2012: The Lost Symbol Found and the Final Mystery of the Great Seal
Revealed
,[vi]God’s
Ghostbusters
[vii]and
Petrus Romanus: The Final Pope is Here,
co-authored by Cris Putnam.
[viii]).
Horn has also published Flynn’s book Temple at the Center of Time: Newton’s
Bible Codex Deciphered and the Year 2012.
[ix](The
reader may detect a theme here, which we will address later).

In a 2006 Horn publication,
Official Disclosure: Biblical Perspectives on the Paranormal
, Flynn also
illustrates his reliance on the so-called Bible codes promoted by Missler (see

Part 1

and

Part 2

of this series), by identifying the name “AMERICA” spelled out in
ELS (equidistant letter sequences) patterns in Daniel 3:3 (“33” being a
mystically significant number to Freemasons, as well as to Flynn).
[x] Flynn’s
calculations forecast the USA to be influential in end-time prophecy.
[xi]

Here is Horn’s endorsement of
Flynn’s book, Temple at the Center of Time, as it appears on the back
cover:

Temple at
the Center of Time deciphersfor the first time what Isaac Newton was
looking for
in Bible prophecy and perfect knowledge—the prisca
sapientia—yet never found. Newton could not have known that the key was
right in front of him. The technology to unveil it did not exist until now.
I predict this book—from one of the world’s most captivating researchers—is
going to make waves around the world.
[xii][Emphasis
added, italics in original]

Hence, Flynn’s book hinges on
the mathematics and the mysticism of Sir Isaac Newton. Flynn reports
Newton’s affinity for “alchemy,” “Jewish mysticism,” and other “esoteric
interests.” Analyzing Newton’s research, Flynn writes, “Newton devoted his
entire life in the quest of pure science and theology.
[xiii]”

John Maynard Keynes, the famous
economist,
[xiv]
purchased Newton’s papers from the Cambridge University library in 1936.
[xv]
He is quoted on page 21 of Flynn’s book:

He
[Newton] regarded the universe as a cryptogram set by the Almighty….
By pure thought, by concentration of mind, the riddle, he believed, would be
revealed to the initiate.
He did read the riddle of the heavens. And
he believed that by the same powers of his introspective imagination he would
read
the riddle of the Godhead, the riddle of past and future events
divinely foreordained
.
[bold,
italics added]

According to Flynn, Newton, in
attempting to decrypt “the riddle of the heavens,” did not confine himself to
the Bible. Among other extra-biblical sources, “…Newton was searching alchemy
for a symbolic key that could unlock the prisca sapientia [perfect
knowledge] from the writing of the ancients

[xvi]

[bold added]
This
alchemical pursuit was carried out through occult doorways leading to “ancient
wisdom,” and not via God’s revealed Truth through His Word.

Alchemy (an aspect of
Hermeticism) traces its roots to the ancient master alchemist, Hermes
Trismegistus, who encrypted magical formulas upon the mythical Emerald Tablet—that
later emerged as an occult bundle of manuscripts known as the Corpus
Hermeticum
. The phrase, “as above, so below,” appeared at the
beginning of the writings, and was said to “hold the key to all mysteries.” The
ultimate alchemical goal was to obtain “a deeper knowledge of reality,” and
“achieve oneness with the Divine.” It is the “central tenet” in occultism.
[xvii]

In “searching alchemy” to
unlock ancient mysteries, Newton became more of a magician, than a theologian.
[xviii]
David Flynn also describes Newton’s work as “an obsession with cryptography
of God’s design…” and noted that Newton’s “interest in cryptograms in
nature paralleled his pursuit of the riddle of prophecy. The
code
that unlocked all prophetic writing was a topic that Newton explored
extensively.”
[xix]
[bold, italics added]

Chuck Missler, quantum
cryptologist, also discusses Newton’s contributions to the Bible codes, but he
is either misinformed or dishonest about Newton’s esoteric history. On page 41
of his book Cosmic Codes, Missler writes:

Sir Isaac
Newton, one of the most famous scientists in history, who invented calculus,
figured out the mechanics of the solar system and gravity, was also a deeply
committed student of the Scriptures
. Most of the million words left in
Newton’s own handwriting were not about mathematics, mechanics, or astronomy,
but about theology.
47
He was also convinced that there was a “cryptogram set by the Almighty.” He
spent half of his life searching for Biblical codes.
[bold
added]

Ironically, on page 173 of
Cosmic Codes
—in a chapter subsection called, “The Dangers of
Divination”—Missler inserts this favorable commentary about Newton’s theology:

Sir Isaac
Newton
,
widely acclaimed as the greatest scientist that has ever lived—having virtually
invented the entire sciences of mechanics, optics, and calculus—also
considered his daily study of the Bible as part of his expertise
…He believed
the books of prophecy were provided so that, as they were historically
fulfilled, they provided a continuing testimony to the fact that the world is
governed by the Providence of God. He objected to the use of prophecy in
attempts to predict the future
….

[bold
added]

While Flynn and Missler may
disagree on Newton’s mystical and esoteric past, they both agree with Newton’s
belief that the universe is a “cryptogram set by the Almighty,” as
demonstrated by their respective works and writings. It has already been
documented in previous sections of this article series that the religious
pursuit of hidden (cryptic/secret) “keys,” “codes,” or “riddles,” belongs to the
forbidden realm of the occult—dark mysteries opposed to biblical Christianity.

Using
Freemasonry as the Divine Template

I
n
his book, Temple at the Center of Time, Flynn examines this universal
“cryptogram,” existing in Gary Stearman’s “historical hologram” (who says that
history is like “a 3-D hologram whose parts all exist simultaneously as
intersecting patterns,”
[xx]
see

Part 5
.),
by combining Newton’s Bible codex, mystical mathematics, and extra-biblical
writings to predict the date that the last Jewish Temple will be built in
Jerusalem—the year 2012
. On page 48 of his book, Flynn writes:

…Solomon
also built the first temple of God in Jerusalem. Many scholars—even before
Newton—believed that the geometry of the future temple of Jerusalem and
the “heavenly city of Jerusalem” of Revelation possessed some keyto
the unfolding of prophecy
itself. God as a “divine geometer” pervaded early
Christian thought…The temple was, then a microcosm of the universe in which
God’s structure of time was represented both symbolically and
geometrically
….

[bold,
italics added]

This is also what the
Freemasons believe. In Solomon’s Builders, Christopher Hodapp, himself a
Freemason writes:

Freemasonry’s mythic legends originate in the great building projects of the
Bible—the Tower of Babel, Noah’s Ark and, most important, King Solomon’s
Temple in Jerusalem
…Geometry became venerated as a sacred science,
and it became a popular Christian motif in art to represent God as an architect
holding a pair of compasses in his hand while peering at the earth. Geometry
could be used to
design and construct buildings, circumnavigate the globe,
predict the seasons, measure the heights of mountains and plot the
movements of the constellations and planets. In short, geometry was a science
descended from God
, and so the masons must be divinely inspired….
[xxi]
[bold added]

Horn and Flynn also use Masonic
architecture and symbology, mixed with other occult writings, to construct
outlandish scenarios of prophecy and spiritual warfare not found in the literal
text of Scripture. These dark teachings color their interpretation of Scripture.
All of this undermines the doctrine of the sovereignty of the Lord God.
In “Prophecy of America in Daniel 3:3,” Flynn writes:

The occult
elite [ie., Freemasons] believe that the world is under the authority of
powerful spiritual beings in high places. They understand the spiritual nature
of reality.”
[xxii]

This idea hearkens back to
Horn’s teaching of the “Divine Council” addressed in a previous Herescope
article, “
Militant
Prayer
,” which
describes Horn’s dealings with territorial spirits. Essentially, this “Divine
Council” false teaching says that after the Tower of Babel, the Lord God divided
the nations by giving His authority over to the Divine Council—an
ordered, ranking army of dark angels or “divine beings”
(enter Enoch’s Watchers/ETs/pagan gods and goddesses) who control earthly
affairs. It is claimed that this Divine Council secretly guides the destiny
of nations and governments by inspiring and employing the human hands behind
these sinister plans (Freemasons/occultists) to mysteriously embed hidden
esoteric symbols and codes in their works while constructing earthly buildings,
cities, and famous landmarks
. This entire concept forms the backdrop of
Horn’s book Apollyon Rising 2012, which begins with a 25-page Preface by
award-winning Christian filmmaker, Christian J. Pinto, who used
this introductory text as the basis for his film: The Hidden Faith of the
Founding Fathers
.
[xxiii]

In Horn’s Official
Disclosure
magazine, Flynn, using complicated and detailed ciphers—and his
“AMERICA” Bible code divined from Daniel 3:3—concluded that the USA will be a
pivotal player to prophecy unfolding in 2012.
[xxiv]
Horn also sees America as an important player in 2012. In Apollyon Rising
2012
, Horn surmises that the god Apollyon/Nimrod/Osiris (a Nephilim
creature) who will “rise” in 2012, will also be “the Great Architect,” a Masonic
“messiah” (Hiram Abiff)—the Antichrist!
[xxv]
(How these men relate these wild predictions to the upcoming presidential
election remains to be seen.)

With Freemason-like precision,
Flynn expands this Masonic “divine geometry” by applying complex mathematical
calculations to historical and prophetical information provided by the Bible.
Using “sacred numbers,” such as the “sacred cubit,” Flynn (in agreement with his
occult sources), concludes that the mystical relationship between these
measurements—as they relate to God’s physical temple on earth—becomes a not only
a sacred space… but a divine “template” for fulfilling prophecy:

The
ancients regarded the area where the temple stood as an intersection
between dimensions set by God. It was a place on Earth that constituted a
divine and central “pivot”
from where God interacted with mankind… the word
“temple” was related to “time”…In the same way the word temple is
related to words associated with time itself
, the dimensions of the
temple are related to the divine “template” of God for the fulfillment of
prophecy
.
[xxvi]
[bold added]

Flynn explains his view of
biblical prophecy:

These
manifestations of prophecy recorded in the earth are, in part, the
priscia
[sic] theologia
[”ancient
wisdom”[xxvii]]

for which Newton and the Renaissance intellect sought. It demonstrates God’s
control over time, space, the rise and fall of nations, and the fulfillment of
prophecy. Because time has a beginning, a present, and an end, it is
reasonable
to believe that the time/distance phenomena should manifest with
respect to prophetic events in the modern age, as well as those set in the
future.
[xxviii]
[bold, italics added]

Reasonable?! Employing
Missler-like reasoning, Flynn defends these and other esoteric beliefs, by
citing ultra-dispensationalist E.W. Bullinger’s
[xxix]Number
in Scripture
(a book
that Flynn uses favorably throughout Temple at the Center of Time
[xxx]):

That
numeric symbols in the Bible have correspondence with the work of Christ on
Earth was a subject of a great many theologians in history… [their] predecessors
had focused on this issue in their studies of Bible prophecy. The regard that
the biblical numbers provided a valid means of interpretation was
eventually abandoned in later theological circles through the course of history.
This was due to the aversion of mixing esoteric and occult practices with
pure exegesis
and rational thought. However, the significance of numbers
within Christianity
has varied according to the nature and meaning of the
times. The book Number in Scripture by the Bible scholar E.W.
Bullinger
is one example of renewed interest in the late 19
th
century.

[bold,
italics added]
[xxxi]

All of this to say that these
men are selectively misusing the Bible as a source of esoteric knowledge, which
is a common practice in the occult world. Further, their wild speculations are
built upon a foundation of extra-biblical knowledge that comprises some of the
darkest occult lore in the history of mankind. From these pagan sources they are
attempting to extrapolate an interpretation of the Bible’s endtime events that
goes exceedingly beyond the Written Word. But it gets worse. . . .

Determining
Prophecy by Divination

I
n
the occult world, these ideas and practices described by David Flynn are called
“geomancy.” It is a form of divination using geometry and geography to access
hidden information in the earth. Grahame Gardner, a modern geomancer writes:

Sacred
Geometry

is one of the three main foundations of western geomancy (the other two
being dowsing and astronomy – astrology). Whenever we wish to
commune with our Gods, meditate, worship, contact our higher selves, whatever
name we give to the practice; we tend to disassociate ourselves from the
everyday mundane world by going to a place that has some spiritual meaning for
us…. Most of these places…are sacred spaces constructed using sacred
geometry
…Sacred geometry lies at the heart of many of the most famous sacred
spaces around the world, from stone circles to the pyramids, from Solomon’s
Temple in Jerusalem
to the great Gothic cathedrals, which are supreme
examples of the art…. Geomancy is the bridge between worlds: the

Upper
World
,
skies and heavens, the

Lower
World
,
the living Earth and the energies flowing through it, and the Middle World
between them, the human world…
 [xxxii]

In other words: “as above, so below
the Hermetic heresy which has been popularized in the New Age movement and
brought into the church.
[xxxiii]

Geomancy is not a new concept in the
evangelical world. It has been popularized by teachings of the New Apostolic
Reformation such as “
portals
“open heavens,” “alignment,” “spiritual mapping,” “prayer marches,” “
Labyrinths
“
prayer
circles
,” etc., which are all based
on the idea that there are sacred physical spaces and/or places where one can
gain access to superior spiritual power. But this idea comes from the occult
world. In 2006, Herescope explained:

Geomancy”
is described more generically in a New Age dictionary, The Seeker’s Handbook:
The Complete Guide to Spiritual Pathfinding
by John Lash (Harmony Books,
1990), as a term currently used to describe “a vast system of knowledge and
practices based on the theory that the earth is an intelligent and sentient
being whose natural processes are permeated by supersensible fields and currents
that conform to consistent mathematical and geometric laws, not recognized by
modern science, though they were carefully plotted and manipulated in ancient
methods of technology and mathematics that are now being widely revived. . . .”
(p. 277)

The
Donning International Encyclopedic Psychic Dictionary
by Bletzer (Donning
Co., 1986) describes a “geomancer” as “a psychic who communicates with nature
spirits,. . . also skilled in palmistry and clairvoyance.”

Doctrines and practices categorized under the generic term “geomancy” include
dowsing, ley lines, labyrinths, feng shui, magic circles, Fibonacci series
(popularized in The DaVinci Code book), sacred geometry, golden section,
the Great Pyramid, Solomon’s Temple, etc. The term “alignment” is used in archeo-astronomy,
which is coordinating things on earth spiritually with the heavens (astrology).
[xxxiv]

Geomancy is now also coming into the
evangelical church world through these psychic theories of David Flynn. Relying
upon occult computations, Flynn claims to reveal Isaac Newton’s “key” and
produces his proof:

Indeed,
time is the interpreter
, and the temple, as Newton had long
suspected, was the key
. By fixing a point on the site of the temple mount,
a measuring line extended over Jerusalem to the center of London,
produces 1,948.40 nautical miles. Recorded in the earth between
the temple mount of Jerusalem and the historic center of London is the
fulfillment of Newton’s own prediction. Israel became a nation again on May 14
th,
1948.
[xxxv]
[bold mine, italics in original]

Flynn, by using nautical lines of distance
between two geographic points in this mystical way, is also utilizing a
geomantic device called a “ley line,”
[xxxvi]
which is believed to be an invisible line “between two points of power or energy
on the Earth.” Ley lines are analogous to acupressure points or unseen meridians
on the body, sometimes called “energy paths.”
[xxxvii]
One author, discussing “ley lines” and “vortices,” believes that these things
have an unseen “template” too:

My theory
is that there is a template for this physical reality in a world existing
concomitant with this one, and that template is geometric, or mathematical
in organization. Matter is here, then not here, moving back and forth between
implicate and explicate reality, as described in the theories of David Bohm….
[xxxviii]
[bold added]

Using the quantum physics of David Bohm (whom
Chuck Missler has

positively cited
),
the author of this article also explains that, “these major [ley] lines ‘crack’
the Earth in a regular, mathematical pattern, a function of pi

Pi

is very significant to these occultists, who use it in a way that goes beyond
general math. In a Chapter entitled, “The Ark of Time,” Flynn identifies “pi” as
the ultimate “sacred number” that defines all “arks” or circles. He then
mystically applies pi to an historical event in Joshua 6:4, that details
the Ark of the Covenant and its “circlingof Jericho,” ultimately
linking pi to another historical event, “the handwriting on the wall of
Daniel 5):

Pi

is a ratio found in circles and their applications that is an important feature
of Pythagorean geometry. It is a universal constant that does not depend on any
number system to function and is the only number in existence that defines all
circles . . . The significance of this sentence [in Josh. 6:4] goes far
beyond the exegetic interpretation
usually encountered in modern theology
.
It contains the unifying proportion that Newton sought, the divine number
that according to Daniel would be finally understood in the time of the end
.

[Bold added]

The geomancer Grahame Gardner
explains “pi” and its mystical
relationship to circles from a geomantic perspective:

Sacred
Geometry depends on the use of what are called irrational numbers.
These are numbers like Pi… and Phi…,
where the decimal part is
infinitely long and non-repeating. Pi is also a special kind of irrational
number called a transcendental number…
it’s defined more by what it
isn’t
than what it is…. The Circle [is the]Simplest shape of all,
and manifestation of the One. Draw a circle around yourself and you
immediately distinguish your personal space from your surroundings. That’s
really the power of the circle. It is the first expression of Universe; a
horizon, a boundary between Self and Other. With no beginning and no end, the
circle’s circumference is a profound statement about the transcendental
nature of reality
. Defined as ‘an infinite number of points equidistant from
a centre’, the circle in its manifestation implies the divine generation of
shape and form from nothing to everything
.[xxxix][bold, italics added]

This gains further occult
significance. As concerning deity, some state that God is a circle whose
circumference is everywhere and whose center is nowhere. “Pi” then becomes the
symbol for a monistic worldview communicated by the Hermetic statement, “as
above, so below.”

In a separate article, Gardner
also connects this teaching to quantum physics as he describes the practice of
“dowsing” (also known as “water witching”), which is also a form of geomancy
(divination):

So dowsing
is in effect a form of controlled clairsentience…. Many successful ‘remote
viewing’
experiments demonstrate that it is possible to access
information about distant places
….This is both a very old (mystical) and a
very new (scientific) world view. If you’ve done any reading at all on
quantum physics
, then you may be familiar with the phenomenon known as
‘quantum entanglement’, which shows that two electrons that have been in contact
with each other maintain some sort of connection and can transfer information
between them, no matter how far apart they are moved. So if we take two paired
electrons, then move one to the other side of the galaxy, it will still react
instantaneously to changes we make to the first electron…everything is connected
at a quantum level…. Another way of looking at it is to think of the Universe
as a hologram.
If a hologram is broken, each small piece of it contains all
the information needed to reconstruct the whole image, albeit at a somewhat
lower resolution. This is actually quite a good analogy for map dowsing….

Reality Check:

At this point the reader might stop and ask what all of this has to do with the
simple truth of the Gospel of Salvation found in the life, death and
resurrection of Jesus Christ in the Bible. Not anything at all! But according to
these new occult ways of reading Scripture there are all sorts of hidden
prophetic elements, and one need only learn how to decode its hidden mysteries.
Decoding becomes the new method of reading Scripture, and only the initiated
elite can divine its mysteries.

All of these Masonic coded
mathematical computations point to the

year
2012
for these
occultists. Using all of these various forms of divination (geomancy/ley lines),
Newton’s mystic math (and pi), and Gematria (Kabbalah)—David Flynn
applies Newton’s “keys” to unlock one mystery date of the end times: the date of
the rebuilding and rededication of the Temple in Jerusalem. Here
are Flynn’s complex and mind-boggling ciphers:

The
numbers 33, PI (3.14159265…) and 360 are prevalent in all major historical dates
of the First and Second Temples in Jerusalem.

These values are seen most often connected with the 360-day prophetic year used
in the Old Testament. These numbers also reinforce the theme of “a circle.”

The name
“Jebusi” (a place trodden down or a threshing floor) was the original name of
Jerusalem and site of the Temple.
6
The
Hebrew letters in the name Jebusi equal 88. When the year of the First Temple’s
dedication by Solomon in “960” BC is divided by the number of the name of the
Temple site “88,” the dividend is:

10.9090909090909090…This number x 33 =360, the number of degrees in a circle.

Perhaps
the most significant correlation between the “circle” and the history (and
future) of the Temple
lies in the year of the dedication of the First Temple
of Solomon in 960 BC.

PI times
960 = 3,015.928947…Could this number also represent prophetic years?

If we
assume that this number represents prophetic years with 360 days, the conversion
to 365.242-day, solar years is 2,972.64394861. If this figure stands for the
number of total years from the dedication of the First Temple of Solomon in 960
BC until the dedication of the Last Temple that will be built before the Second
Coming of Christ, the date indicated is AD 2012. 2,972 years – 960
BC = AD 2,012. The conversion to 365.242-day, solar years is: 3,015.928947 x 360
= 1085734.4210806 days… divided by 365.242 = 2,972.64394861… solar years.

Is AD 2012
the appointed time

of
completion for world influence over the Temple in Jerusalem? Is this the year
that the circle of our age draws to a close?
[xli]
[bold, underlining added]

Did you follow all of this?!
Flynn found these “prophetic” calculations compelling enough to record them in
his book—highlighting this “pivotal” year in the book title: The Temple at
the Center of Time: Newton’s Bible Codex Deciphered and the Year 2012.

Tom Horn, discussing the work
of David Flynn in his NewsWithViews column in November 2009, in an
article titled “Deeper Secrets: Maya, Watchers, and the 2012 Return
[xlii]
[bold added]
elaborately
describes “geoglyphs,” large rock formation designs, specifically the ones from
ancient Mayan and Incan civilizations, that fit “Inca and Mayan prophecies of an
“awakening” to knowledge of the ancient past, of the “builder gods” and of their
return” on “December 21, 2012
[bold
added]
According to
Horn, Flynn’s article, “An Occult Translation of the Roswell Event: Countdown
to 2012
”

[bold added]
was truly unprecedented and later formed the basis of Flynn’s presentation at
the 2005 Ancient of Days Conference in Roswell, New Mexico.” Horn states:

Like Dr.
I. D. E. Thomas, Dr. Jacques F. Vallée, Chuck Missler, and others, Flynn became
fascinated with the mysterious connection between Watchers, so-called “aliens,”
the coming of Antichrist, the

Mayan date
2012
,
and the hidden occult aspiration of Freemasons and other Illuminatus related to
these subjects.
[xliii][bold
in original, color added]

Horn explains how Flynn studied
the doctrines and methods of the “occult visionary Manly P. Hall” to arrive at
his Freemasonry conclusions:

The
compass and square, the most visible emblems of Masonry, are the symbols
of this navigation and mapmaking process. The number three is essential because
without the geometry of the three-sided triangle, establishing location and
distance on a map—”triangulation”—is impossible. Navigation not only predicts
the destination of a traveler on the earth but also the time the
traveler will arrive. As the navigator can use increments of the earth’s
latitude and longitude to determine location in space and time, these increments
can be measured in the earth itself according to mysticsto reveal the
appointed time of humanity’s destiny
. This is one of the main reasons the
number thirty-three and the compass and square are such important symbols of the
illumined elite
.
[xliv]

Furthermore, in Horn’s
Official Disclosure
magazine article, Flynn outlined and affirmed the occult
(Masonic) design and location of Washington, DC, giving it mystical significance
by calling it: “mystical toponomy,” or the “occult significance in earth
location.”
[xlv]

All of this occult geometry and
geomancy is tied to Horn’s wild speculations about “Watchers” and space aliens
coming to visit planet Earth, especially the prophetic significance of UFO
headquarters, Roswell, New Mexico:

A related
matter that is equally disturbing and perhaps validates the concerns of Dr.
Thomas, Vallee, Flynn, and others whose research produced repetitive connections
between Watchers and so-called “probing aliens” is the most celebrated
ufological location
on earth—the impact site near Roswell, New Mexico, which
sits incredibly at 33 degrees north latitude, at a distance 2,012 miles
from the equator! Furthermore, when the latitude of the Roswell impact site,
33 degrees
north, is multiplied by the universal mathematical constant pi
(3.1415926572…), the result is 104 degrees, the longitude of the impact site!
[xlvi]
[bold added]

Despite Flynn’s untimely death
in January,
[xlvii]
his occult teachings are being given long-lasting credibility through the direct
assistance of Christian book authors and marketers like Tom Horn. Flynn’s book
is featured on the main page of his website, along with Stearman’s Time
Travelers of the Bible
, and several other books mentioned above.
[xlviii]

Flynn’s groundbreaking
heretical work goes on. Cris Putnam, who co-authored Petrus Romanus with
Tom Horn, wrote an article for his website in April entitled, “Isaac Newton,
David Flynn & the Arrival of Petrus Romanus [Peter the Roman].” Affirming
Newton’s use of mystic math to predict doomsday, Putnam writes: “Newton’s
calculation is not all that mysterious. In fact it is based on the exact same
logic we have presented in Petrus Romanus….”
[xlix]
In promoting Flynn’s methods and book, Temple at the Center of Time,
Putnam concludes:

…David
Flynn arrived at a prophetic event horizon in roughly the year 2012 from
several different angles and our research for the soon to be released,
Petrus Romanus
, seems to further confirm many of Flynn’s ideas….
On top of all this, it seems beyond the reach of mere chance that a Belgian
Jesuit predicted the arrival of the prophesied final pope in 2012 (back
in 1951!) using the Malachy [sic] Martin prophecy….
[l]

Petrus Romanus: the Final Pope
is Here
was released
shortly after Putnam’s article was posted. It was published by Tom Horn.
[li]

Flynn, then, is not alone in
prophetically pointing readers to the

year 2012
.
Tom Horn and company have published several books with the same theme:
Nephilim Stargates: The Year 2012 and the Return of the Watchers,
Apollyon Rising 2012, and Decoding Doomsday, the 2012 Prophecies,
the Apocalypse, and the Perilous Days Ahead.
This is the subject of the
Herescope
article, “
Doomsday
Datesetters2012
” as
well as the current article series.

What does all this have to do
with the Bible and its actual written text, the plain meaning of which is OPEN
to all readers? Divination is absolutely forbidden in the Bible (Deut. 18:10;
23:23; Jer. 14:14; Ezek. 13:6-7). Geomancy and all of these other methods of
deciphering and decoding are pure divination.
[lii]

The premise of the mystical
writings of these “quantum collaborators” is that there are hidden, coded,
obscure and secret messages embedded in the biblical text, and that only
Freemasonry and other occult decoding methods will unlock these secrets in time
for the D-Day, Dec. 21, 2012, the magical date when these space alien/creatures
will return to earth.

Since when do believers use the
arts of black magic to interpret end-time biblical prophecy? Especially when
Jesus plainly recorded what He wanted us to know and remember concerning His
return—in His Word. At the conclusion of Revelation the Lord Jesus Christ
specifically warned against adding to His prophetic Word:

I Jesus
have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the
root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. And the Spirit
and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is
athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

For
I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If
any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are
written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book
of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out
of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

He
which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come,
Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
.

Quantum Prophecy

COSMS, CODES, AND CRYPTOLOGIES, Part 7

But
know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture

is a
matter of one’s own interpretation,

for no
prophecy was ever made by an act of human will,

but men
moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.

~ 2 Peter
1:20-21

By Gaylene
Goodroad

When we
consider creation and all things eternal, our false concepts regarding
time and matter
limit our understanding. Receive the concept that Jesus is
outside of our time and calendar, looking in. He is observing. He is sustaining
all things in this nanosecond (one billionth of a second) and is singing the
frequencies or vibrations of your body. If He didn’t, you would dissolve!
Your electrons, particles, and subatomic structures are blinking in and out of
existence. You think you are a solid object, but quantum mechanics has
confirmed that all subatomic particles – the stuff you are made of – are
blinking in and out of this reality….

Because
the speed of light has slowed down, because we have our upper bandwidth back,
and because He is sustaining us every nanosecond, the act of creation is
happening now! Take your quantum leap into His eternal now.

~David Van Koevering,”Keys
to Taking Your Quantum Leap”*

God is
speaking through Quantum Physics more than ever these days! There is so
much revelation linking science and the spirit realm proving that God is
the Creator and the Great Physicist of all.

~Steve Shultz,
TheElijahList**

H
ow
do Quantum Mysticism teachings alter biblical prophecy? How are the quantum
“cosms,” “codes,” and “cryptologies,” connected to End Times teachings? What do
Tom Horn, Chuck Missler, and other quantum collaborators teach about the last
days?

These men abuse the text of
Genesis 6 (and other passages) by adding in strange and wild speculations. They
combine their exotic occult and extra-biblical suppositions with New Age
physics, then make further conjectures about transhumanism. In short, these men
have craftily distorted biblical eschatology into a far-fetched science
fiction-fantasy that directs attention to the return of their mythical, mutant,
and hybrid “demigods” instead of the Lord Jesus Christ, the believer’s
“Blessed Hope” at His Coming (Titus 2:11-15).

The two earlier Herescope
articles, “
Doomsday
Datesetters
,” and “Militant
Prayer
,” carefully
document these heresies, but here is a brief review:

THE RETURN
OF THE NEPHILIM

H
ere
is a summary of their aberrant end-time eschatology. According to the quantum
collaborators, God Almighty sent the Flood upon the earth—not because of the
inherent sinfulness and wickedness of mankind—but because the human gene pool
(genome) had been corrupted
by “Watchers” (fallen
angels/extraterrestrials/pagan gods) who mated with human women, producing an
evil, mutant race of giant hybrids (demigods) called “Nephilim.” Only Noah and
his family remained genetically unstained by this celestial interbreeding
with mankind….

These teachers claim that
Jesus’ prophecy: “as it was in the days of Noah… (Matt. 24:37),” actually
warns us that the “Watchers” (parents of the Nephilim/alien life) will be
returning through multi/hyper-dimensional portals/stargates to repeat the
fictionalized events in Genesis 6—threatening to wipe out humanity as we know
it. (There is a connection here to the Roswell UFO event and their subsequent
use of geomantic devices [divination] to accommodate these false teachings, as
was discussed in

Part 6

of this series).

This end-time Nephilim return
scenario negates the Lord’s admonition to readiness and godly living—with
a view to

His
Coming

(1 John 2:28; 1 Thess.
1:10; 2:19; 3:13; 4:1-18; 5:23). Note that none of their myths can be clearly
found in the Bible text itself. They needtheir extrabiblical sources in order to
construct their fantastic end-time scenarios.

Sadly, this eschatological
fable continues to grow as more extrabiblical sources are added into the
mixture. In his book Apollyon Rising 2012, Tom Horn promotes the idea
that Genesis’ Nimrod was in fact a “Nephilim,” who will “rise”
(resurrect) in 2012 as an incarnation of the mythical god Apollyon
(Apollo/Osiris). According to Horn, this monster will manifest himself to the
world as the Antichrist!

If this isn’t fantastic enough,
“Apollyon,” Horn’s end-times super nemesis will also manifest as the “Great
Architect” of Freemasonry—the Masonic “messiah” (details of this deception are
addressed in

Part 6

of this series).

Note again that the
return of the Lord
Jesus Christ
is absent
from this imaginary end-times scenario.

Instead, the quantum collaborators encourage followers to fearfully prepare for
the return of an ancient pagan demi-god with supernatural powers—and a dark army
of soul-less, half human-half angel creatures (also enhanced by transhumanist
technologies), hell-bent on destroying the human race.

This is false eschatology. It
does not come from the Bible.

Instead of preaching repentance
and belief upon the Lord Jesus to save us from our sin, the world, and the
devil, some of these men have not only invented an end-run around the book of
Revelation, but preach an earthbound solution to “the return of the Nephilim.”
Their story goes like this:

•
As the lesser Nephilim (“serpent seed”) proliferate during this time of
Apollo’s coming, enhanced by transhumanist devices, and as their demonic
parents, the “Watchers” (who may appear as extraterrestrials) continue to
descend upon earth, believers will be forced to abandon traditional methods
of spiritual warfare such as bible reading, praying, and walking in the strength
of God’s might
. Instead, they will be challenged to learn new methods of
“techno-dimensional spiritual warfare.” Leaving behind God’s Word and God’s
Spirit, Christians will be forced to “engage these pagan deities” and “dark
angels” in the spiritual realm and penetrate their unholy domain (Horn’s “gasket
heaven”) by the power of these more effective prayer warfare techniques.

(See “Militant
Prayer
” for details
and documentation of this scenario.) Abuse of Genesis 6 is the glue holding
these false prophesies together—and Quantum Mysticism the underlying fabric!

QUANTUM
DECEPTIONS

I
n
the Introduction to God’s Ghostbusters, Chuck Missler brings these wild
teachings—and its readers—into a quantum realm of deception.(See

Part 1

of this series.) Missler
writes:

Encounters
with hyperspaces—spaces with more than three dimensions—may involve phenomena
which we call “paranormal” or “supernatural.” Paranormal events may be the
result of transdimensional interactions. Metaphors reign where mysteries reside.

Such
themes have become popular in our entertainments, such as science fiction movies
(Thirteenth Floor, Matrix, et al) where the participants discover that
they are simply “program units” within a simulated virtual environment.
However, it is disturbing to discover that we, too, are apparently in an
equivalent predicament: being a pawn in a virtual reality, being caught
in a game played by others from outside our own existence.

This puts
an unusual premium on the tool and resources we need to evaluate our true
condition, and to gain a glimpse into our own destiny. It translates our
academic interest into a prerequisite for survival….

place to introduce his readers to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our “true
condition” without Him is a desperately lost one: condemned to die in our
sin—and on the way to Hell for eternity. Our “destiny” is determined by whether
or not we surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ. When we repent of our
sin—believing upon His sacrifice at the Cross and His resurrection from the
grave—He forgives and cleanses us of our sin, and gives us His indwelling Spirit
so that we can live as we ought. God alone is able to empower believers to live
right in a godless age—no matter the circumstances, or what the unknown future
may portend.

Missler’s  “The Realm of
Angels,” is featured on the cover of the March 2012 issue of the Koinoina
Institute publication Personal Update. The article includes much of the
New Age physics that Missler also teaches in his God’s Ghostbusters
Introduction under the heading: “The Boundaries of Our ‘Reality” (discussed in

Part 1

of this series). In “The Realm of Angels,” under the subheading, “The
10-Dimensional Metacosm,” Missler writes:

…It is
also interesting that the Hebrew sage known as Nachmonides, writing in the 13
th
century, concluded from his study of the Book of Genesis that the universe has
ten dimensions, but only four of them are “knowable” by man…. It would seem that
the domain of the “Metacosm”—which includes the elusive six dimensions—is the
realm of the trans-dimensional phenomena such as angels, demons, and, perhaps,

UFOs and
other paranormal phenomena
….
So one of our major hindrances as we approach the subject of the “Angelic Realm”
will come from the myopia of our obsolete Euclidean perspective. The more you
know about the advanced frontiers of science, the more comfortable the Biblical
text appears.
So let’s summarize what the only reliable source about this
realm tells us.
[2][bold
and color added]

Note how Missler describes this
cosmic “angelic realm”:

…Some
fallen angels have even been guilty of producing hybrids—Nephilim,
the “fallen ones”—that led to, among other things, the flood of Noah’s day.
11These
strange activities are confirmed several times in the New Testament.
12
And there is reason to expect more of these bizarre occurrences on our near
horizon. The emergent trend toward “transhumanism” will also usher in similar,
new concerns
…. The Bible clearly presents the hyper-dimensional realities
that surround us and it is imperative that we “do our homework.” Our personal
survival depends upon it. We need to understand that we are both the pawns—and
the prize—inn this continuing cosmic struggle
….”
[3]
[bold added]

Is this what the Bible actually
teaches? Or does this Quantum Eschatology depend upon extra-biblical,
mythological, and occult teaching to stand—not to mention the added ingredients
of human speculations and wild imaginations? What is the end result of these
strange teachings? Will readers be driven to Christ… or away from Him to follow
these fantastic myths?

QUANTUM
MYSTICISM IN THE ARC

W
here
will Quantum Mysticism eventually lead? We may be forced to watch it unfold. It
is disturbing to discover that these contorted teachings from Genesis 6 may
already be metastasizing throughout the

Dominionist

camp, the

New Apostolic Reformation

(NAR).

The ultra-dominionist Kingdom
League International (NAR)
[4]
held an event February 18
th
in Renton, WA, called: “Are You Prepared to Live in the Days of Noah – Matt.
24?” Here are a few of the event discussions highlighted in the email brochure:

•

What the
days of Noah were like

•

How the
demonic manifested itself

•

What
Christians prepared for the bridal company will face

•

The angels
being released for the end time harvest

•

The kind
of army God is raising up to engage the hosts of darkness

•

How you
can prepare like Noah did to build an ARC
[5]

•

Tim Taylor—NAR apostle, prophet
and teacher—is the founder of The Kingdom League International.
[6]
In January, in a 60-minute online teaching audio, he expounds on Matthew 23:36,
“as in the days of Noah…” by laying out a prophetic scenario almost
identical to Tom Horn and his fellow collaborators. Also like Horn, Taylor
spends most of his time recounting passages in the apocryphal Book of Enoch—even
comparing the Nephilim hybrids to pagan mythology!
[7]
About halfway through his teaching, Taylor comes to the point: God is raising an
“army of sons to defeat this demonic army. ” There is coming “a corporate
anointing” to “engage in this spiritual war.”
[8]

In a separate 2011 KLI
document, Taylor reported that God began speaking to him in 2007—instructing him
to build “an ARC” alluding to Noah and his famous boat:

Then I
heard the Lord say, Noah built Me an ark, and I want you to: “build an ARC;
an Apostolic Resource Center”

[sic]

As I
meditated on what God said to me these thoughts arose: The Lord used an ark to:

•

Save a
family, the nations and creation (Noah).

•

Deliver a
deliverer (Moses).

•

Lead His
people through the wilderness, in order that they might war to enter into
their inheritance and Promised Land (Moses and Joshua).

•

Serve as a
place for His presence to dwell.

The ARC is
an acronym and a word play with deep meaning. The characteristics of Noah’s ark
plus the Ark of the Covenant equal what I see. It is a vessel like an aircraft
carrier and its task force made to project power in the nations, delivering the
weak and administering justice to the oppressor, enforcing the will of the
kingdom of God, on earth as it is in heaven
.

This ARC
is made up of many teams of people with unique skills and functions all working
together for a common purpose. That purpose is to present the gospel of the
kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ with signs, wonders and results following
.
[9]
[bold added]

This Apostolic Resource Center
(ARC) is explained on other websites, and one includes a graphic of the ARC
hovering like a canopy over “the

seven spheres

of culture,” which are necessary to fulfill the

dominion mandate
.[10]
[links added]
One
corporate method to accomplishing this mandate involves prayer: “To utilize
prayer as a weapon of spiritual warfare to take territory for the
kingdom.”
[11]
[bold added]
This
hearkens back to Horn’s “militant prayer,” and C. Peter Wagner’s “warfare
prayer” examined in a previous Herescope article, “
Militant
Prayer
,” dealing
with the Latter Rain inspired teachings on “territorial spirits.”

The recurring theme includes
God’s people warring against the Nephilim hoards as they return to the earth to
corrupt the human gene pool “as in the days of Noah.”

THE NAR AND
QUANTUM NEPHILIM

N
AR
teacher Randy DeMain, founder of Kingdom Revelation Ministries,
[12]
published a book in 2010 entitled The Nephilim Agenda: Exposing the Ultimate
Last Days Deception
.
[13]
Here is how the book is described on the TheElijahList website:

Ancient
Mysteries of the Bible are unfolding with startling clarity. One such mystery is
the Genesis Six account of giants on the earth. These giants—the
Nephilim—were the vile offspring of earthly women and divine beings bent on the
deception and destruction of God’s holy people. History is about to repeat
itself.
Jesus said, “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will also be in
the days of the Son of Man” (Luke 17:26). The Nephilim are coming again,
positioning themselves to rule the world in degrees of wickedness such as man
has never known. Are you ready?
[14]
[bold added]

DeMain’s The Nephilim Agenda
was published by Extreme Prophetic (XP) NAR prophetess Patricia King
[15]
who interviewed DeMain on her television program about his book.
[16]
King will also be hosting the Quantum Healing Conference in
Phoenix in August this year—featuring none other than David van Koevering and
JoAnn McFatter.
[17]
Van Koevering and McFatter presented at the Quantum Leap 2 Conference
in 2007 along with Chuck Missler.
[18]
(This particular conference was discussed in “
Doomsday
Datesetters 2012

and in

Part 3

of this article series).
[19]

Other such quantum connections
with the NAR abound. One example is Randy DeMain and Horn collaborator L.A.
Marzulli, who have shared the speaking platform on more than one occasion.
DeMain and Marzulli will be appearing together in October in Frederick, MD for
The Nephilim Agenda Official Disclosure 2 Conference,
[20]
as well as a New Age event, Maya 2012: Personal Planetary Transformation,
a global gathering at the Mayan pyramids in Mexico on December 21, 2012!
[21]
(See

Part 6

of this article series to understand the significance of this

Mayan legend date
.)

According to

his website, Marzulli
has authored several books with Nephilim and UFO themes. In 2006, Horn published
an article of Marzulli’s dealing with UFO abduction in his Anomalos magazine,
Official Disclosure: Biblical Perspectives on the Paranormal
, pp. 30-31.
[22]
The artwork on the front
of Marzulli’s article depicts a man being “beamed up” into an alien spaceship.
This is the same publication cited in

Part 6

of this article series dealing with the Quantum Mysticism of the late Horn
collaborator, David Flynn.

David Flynn endorsed Marzulli’s
2007 book Politics, Prophecy & the Supernatural, which was published by
Horn.
[23]
Here is Horn’s description of this book:

Summary
:
The title of best selling author L.A. Marzulli’s new book “Politics, Prophecy
and the Supernatural: The Coming Great Deception and the Luciferian End Game,”
weaves the seemingly odd literary bedfellows that make up the book and its
riveting expose of what might befall planet earth in the near future.

Integrating biblical predictions, historical observations and scientific facts,
Marzulli explores the carefully detailed and documented history of ancient
prophetic writings and the ongoing supernaturalism that so many others are
afraid to touch — UFOs, the Fatima apparitions of 1917, Crop Circles and more

— blending these seemingly unexplained phenomena with increases in paranormal
activity and “signs in the heavens,” which he believes points to a coming great
deception and Luciferian end game. Politics, Prophecy and the Supernatural
will leave you breathlessly reconsidering the facts behind today’s headlines.
[24]
[bold added]

In 2010, Marzulli appeared on Gary
Stearman’s
syndicated television program, Prophecy in the News, along
with Tom Horn to discuss “The Secret Alien Agenda.”
[25]
A video of this interview is available on Horn’s disaster preparedness website.
[26]
(Stearman’s involvement in Quantum Mysticism is discussed in

Part 5

of this article series.)

Marzulli also contributed his
“expertise” in “Official Disclosure: Prepare for Contact.” Here is an excerpt of
this event as described by Horn’s Defender Publishing:

[This]
special multi-hour interview series covered numerous important issues that
some believe could soon affect all mankind.
Questions such as:

•

Is
official disclosure of alien contact near?

•

Do world
authorities know something about ET they are not telling us?

•

Would
aliens
be friendly or hostile?

•

What is
panspermia?

•

What is
happening during alien abduction?

•

Are angels
or demons involved?

The
answers to these questions are often unnerving as ex-government agents with
above top-secret security clearance, world-famous field investigators,
physicists and theologians peel back the truth behind a reality so
astonishing the personal destiny of every man, woman and child could be impacted
by its implications.
[27]
[bold added]

All of this talk about space
aliens begins to sound like the old TV series

Outer Limits or
The Twilight Zone!
Marzulli is even slated to speak at the

Oregon Sasquatch Symposium

[Big Foot] this year!

Besides Marzulli, who else was
among the “ex-government agents, world-famous field investigators, physicists
and theologians” speaking on “alien life imminent”?  They include quantum
collaborators such as Chuck Missler, Thomas Horn, Gary Stearman, Terry James,
and Michael Heiser, among others.
[28]
With the exception of
Michael Heiser, this same group of quantum collaborators will appear together in
July at The Prophecy Summit at Branson 2012: The Final Prophecies are Here—hosted
by Stearman’s Prophecy in the News.
[29]

Other NAR leaders could easily
become quantum collaborators. Rick Joyner of Morningstar Ministries and the
politically charged Oak Initiative (Dominionist) has written about the Nephilim.
[30]
Cindy Trimm, well-known leader in the Word-Faith movement, sounds like a New
Ager when talks about Quantum Physics and promises it will produce prosperity.
She claims there is a “Law of Attraction” that

is based
on the principle that we attract into our lives whatever we focus on as a result
of the energy that is exchanged in the process. Because all matter – seen
and unseen – is comprised of energy, the energy created by our unseen
thoughts
either attracts or repels the energy matter of what we
ultimately see and experience as a result.

This
phenomena is rooted in the findings of quantum physics – which found that
nothing in the universe is static due to the fact that all matter is
vibrating energy– raw energy that responds to the vibrations of our thoughts
….

Your
success and prosperity hinge on what lies within your mind…. Whatever
can be imagined already exists; it simply exists in another dimension –
in another form or substance – and that is the source of all inspiration.
[31]

David Van Koevering (who was
featured at the Quantum Leap 2 Conference along with Missler,
cited above) did a teaching series “Quantum Physics, Time, Space & Matter ”
which is being marketed by the NAR’s TheElijahList. His list of topics
explain why the New Apostolic Reformation is enthralled about applying Quantum
Physics to their brand of spirituality, particularly their version of the
future.

•

“The
‘Physics’ of the Supernatural Realm”

If you want to take your own personal quantum leap, then get ready for a journey
of a lifetime as you listen to this 2 disc message that is nothing less than a
collision of science and the supernatural!

•

Reaching
into the Non-Physical Reality – For Your Future!”

Want to
know where yesterday went and where tomorrow comes from? Renowned physicist
David Van Koevering opens revelation on the reality of time, eternity and God,
and how physics actually supports and substantiates prophecy.

•

 “The
Science of Bandwidth, Eternity, and the Voice of God”
What does the speed of
light and vibration (bandwidth) have to do with time, seeing your future and
taking deliberate action to bring your destiny into the ‘now’ physical realm?…

•

“Real True
Alternative Medicine is All About Getting Your ‘Frequency’ Fixed!”

We all
(even all of creation) vibrate (bandwidth/frequency). This is a true,
scientifically supported fact. But do you want to understand how vibration
(yours, others, and all of creation) – whether correct or skewed – impacts and
dictates the health of your body, soul, and spirit? This message explains how
God fashioned the cosmos (and you) to function at a wonderful level of abundant
life!

•

 “The
Physics of Worship – How to Create an Umbrella of Protection!

Is the
purpose and fruit of worship simply an acknowledgment of the ‘Godliness’ and
‘Godness’ of God – or does it actually do something in regards to physics and
the unseen realm?…
[32]

Van Koevering has also written
this strange statement, with his own unique vernacular, that integrates
Word-Faith teachings with Quantum Physics as a way to change the future:

Matter has
memory, and you can change everything that has been recorded by what you
observe, by the words you declare, or by the curses you remove and release in
the name of Jesus. You can create protected places by anointing with oil and
speaking blessings with your words of faith. Where will you start? What
quantum leaps
have come up in your spirit? You have been given a new
elsewhen cosmic consciousness
. Pop those God qwiffs and cause upper
bandwidth to change your reality.
[33]

The New Apostolic Reformation’s
version of Quantum Mysticism even believes that there is a quantum sound that
will transform culture and help build the

seven mountains
of

Dominionism
.[34] The
Seven Mountain Symphony

was advertised as a “sound that the Lord has chosen to be released onto the
earth for this season to help effect the transformation of culture.”
[35]
JoAnn McFatter (cited above in connection with the Quantum Leap 2
Conference
with Missler) has taught that “God Has a Sound Frequency”
that “plays into your destiny!”
[36]

It appears as though the
Quantum Mysticism of Horn, Missler, Stearman, Flynn, and others has meshed with
the

Dominionist camp

and is now seducing souls further into error through these deceptions and false
teachings. This raises troubling questions due to the extreme views of the

NAR

and its

Latter Rain

adherents. Their end-time scenario places them

in the script of the book of
Revelation
,
fulfilling their destiny,

manifesting Christ

on earth, and taking

political

and

cultural dominion

over the earth (a

frequent topic

of the past several years of posts on Herescope).

Horn and Missler and their
fellow quantum collaborators have painted a vivid image of end-time creatures,
entities, space aliens and hybrids coming to planet earth. The NAR has prepped
its people for decades in anticipation of an end-time army (“
Joel’s
Army
“) that believes
it must conduct hyperspiritual warfare to rid the planet of unwanted elements.
It seems evident that these two groups are beginning to cross-pollinate and
share their extreme quantum views and eschatologies.

But many other things are
converging… At what point and in what capacity will these extreme eschatology
ideas fully merge with the Emergent Church, other apostate groups—and even
seemingly sound evangelical churches? How many sheep will be caught in its
deception? How many souls will be diverted from Christ into apostasy?…

And he
said to me, “These words are faithful and true“;

and the
Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets,

sent
His angel to show to His bond-servants

the
things which must soon take place.

“And
behold, I am coming quickly.

Blessed is he who heeds the words of the prophecy of this book
.”

~
Revelation 22:6-7

For the
time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine;

but
wanting to have their ears tickled,

they
will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires,

andwill
turn away their ears from the truth

and
will turn aside to myths.

~ 2
Timothy 4:3-4

A
Quantum Cosmic Christ

COSMS, CODES, AND CRYPTOLOGIES,

Part
8

Exhibit A

[David]
Spangler sees the Christ as a cosmic principle: “Any old Christ will not
do, not if we need to show that we have something better than the mainstream
Christian traditions. It must be a cosmic Christ, a universal Christ, a New
Age Christ
.” The Christ is not so much a religious figure, “but rather a
cosmic principle
, a spiritual presence whose quality infuses and appears in
various ways in all the religions and philosophies that uplift humanity
and seek unity with spirit.”
[i]

—“The
Christ of the New Age Movement” report

As one
looks at the various trends in our day, one sees that Teilhard’s [de Chardin]
conception of spirituality is in the forefront. He knew that he had to pass
through many hazards, but he was directed principally to the cosmic world.
Others have been directed to the human world. This does not mean to say that
Teilhard limited himself to anthropology and physics. His fundamental
orientation was “to attain heaven through the fulfillment of earth. Christify
matter

Fulton J. Sheen

Quantum
spirituality

bonds us to all creation as well as to other members of the human
family…. This entails a radical doctrine of embodiment of God in the very
substance of creation…. But a spirituality that is not in some way entheistic
(whether pan- or trans-), that does not extend to the spirit-matter of the
cosmos
, is not Christian.

—Leonard
Sweet

A

Cosmic Christianity expects a Cosmic Christ. The Quantum Mysticism movement in
the evangelical church is re-defining significant portions of theology—not only
eschatology but also Christology.

This “quantum leap” to a
different Christology in the evangelical world was first noticed by ex-New Ager
Warren B. Smith. In Chapter 10 of A Wonderful Deception, Smith writes
about the coming “Cosmic Christ” awaited by past and present New Age/New Light
Leaders Willis Harman, Matthew Fox, M. Scott Peck, Pierre Teilhard de
Chardin—and also Leonard Sweet, one of Leadership Network’s chief architects of
the Emergent Church movement.
[iv]
Smith explains that the “Cosmic Christ” is the panentheistic (God is “in”
everything), universal (cosmic), god-force that permeates Creation (capitalized
as a sign of divinity).
[v]

In a separate article, Smith,
quoting from Episcopalian priest Matthew Fox’s 1988 book, The Coming Cosmic
Christ,
shows how this “Cosmic Christ” is linked to a sacred or divine
“pattern” (i.e., occult geometry):

The Cosmic
Christ is the divine pattern

that connects in the person of Jesus Christ (but by no means is limited to that
person).
(p.
135)[bold added]

Perhaps a
new “ecumenical council” will be forthcoming in our lifetime… Part of its work
might be to declare an ancient but forgotten doctrine: the Cosmic Christ, the
“pattern that connects” all the atoms and galaxies of the universe,
a
pattern
of divine love and justice that all creatures and all humans bear
within them.
(p.
7).[vi] [bold added]

In 2012, New Agers expanded
this simple definition of the “Cosmic Christ” into a full-blown quantum science
called, “Cosmometry,” or “Exploring the Fractal Holographic Nature of the
Cosmos.”
[vii]
Here is the course description of an online, 6-week virtual course by “Wisdom
University”:

As
science and spirituality
increasingly merge, a new worldview
is concurrently emerging that embraces the idea that energy and
consciousness (the physical and metaphysical experience of reality)
are a
unified whole
, and that all “things” are entirely and instantly
interconnected as one. Building upon the foundational research of Buckminster
Fuller, Arthur Young, David Bohm and other 20
th
century pioneers, a contemporary understanding of the fundamental manifestation
is informing this worldview with elegance and precision. The insights of
both scientific and sacred geometry that have grown over centuries of
inquiry are now revealing an increasingly accepted model of a fractal and
holographic universe,
wherein the whole is found to be present in every
“part” at every scale, from micro-atomic to macro-galactic.
[viii][bold
mine]

Note that these New Agers in
describing their universal or “Cosmic Christ,” use the same “science” (New Age
physics), the same Quantum Physics expert (Bohm), and the same model of a
“fractal” and “holographic universe” as Chuck Missler—the author of Cosmic
Codes
—does in his teachings.
[ix]

Consider the foreboding
comments of Matthew Fox:

The
Cosmic Christ
educes power and responsibility from those who dare to allow
the mystic to be born in and through them.

(p.
138)[bold added]

Deep
ecumenical possibilities emerge when we shift

from the quest for the historical Jesus to the quest for the Cosmic Christ.
This shift requires making mysticism central to our faith once again.
What the human race needs today is mystical solidarity.

(p. 232)[x] [bold added]

This emerging shift toward the
Cosmic Christ requires a collective embrace of Quantum Mysticism—an
all-out defection from biblical Christianity and the Lord Jesus Christ to a
religion of Fox’s “mystical solidarity.”

How did the evangelical church
get to the point where quotations like these would be considered normative? That
no one would ask questions about statements like these—even within discerning
circles? How is it that Quantum Mysticism/Spirituality entered the church and
took over to the extent that New Age beliefs about an end-time Cosmic Christ
could stand without opposition?

Warren Smith credits Leonard
Sweet with the launch of the Quantum Spirituality movement, saying: “In 1991,
Leonard Sweet was setting the stage for everything happening in the church
today.”
[xi]
In his landmark book, A “Wonderful” Deception, Smith explains Quantum
Spirituality from its roots, both historically and theologically. Beginning in
Chapter 10, Smith begins to recount Leonard Sweet’s relationship to Rick Warren,
and reviews Sweet’s 1991 book Quantum Spirituality: A Postmodern Dialectic.

Smith takes note of those
leaders whom Leonard Sweet credits: David Spangler, Willis Harman,
Matthew Fox, and M. Scott Peck. Sweet describes these New Age
change agents with the glowing description of “New Light Leaders” of the
“postmodern apologetic.”
[xii]

It is possible that Leonard
Sweet derived his use of the Greek term “metanoia” from Willis Harman.
[xiii]
A few years ago Herescope documented influential New Age leader Willis Harman’s
influence over key evangelical leaders in the late 1970s. He was invited to a
conference sponsored by the Billy Graham Association where he proposed a new
Gnostic “science” of metaphysics to be their foundation for the future.
[xiv]
The Herescope report explains that Harman had the significant goal of merging
science and spirituality:

Willis Harman’s

presentation to the evangelical leaders called for a “new” science, which he had
termed “noetic” science, a

Gnostic science
,
based on his research into the paranormal and the human brain. He listed such
things as hypnosis, remote viewing, precognition, psychokinesis and psychic
phenomena. He called for more scientific research into the “the world of inner
experience,” meaning

psychic phenomena
.
All this could create a future utopia:

This
new “noetic” science would eliminate the apparent contradiction between the
experiential understanding of Hindu, Moslem, and Christian. For the first time
in history we see emerging a growing, progressively funded body of empirically
established experience about man’s inner life – particularly about the perennial
wisdom of the great religious traditions and

Gnostic groups
.
For the first time there is hope that this knowledge can become… the living
heritage of all mankind.
[xv]

Warren Smith recounts how
Leonard Sweet was also influenced by Matthew Fox. Fox believed that “we are all
Cosmic Christs.” Smith explained:

[Fox is] a
former Catholic priest who was excommunicated from the Catholic Church for
openly professing the heretical teachings of Jesuit priest Pierre Teilhard de
Chardin (and other New Age teachers)…. [Chardin], “the father of the New Age
Movement,” believed that all of humanity is converging towards a universal New
Age Christ in the future….
[xvi]

M. Scott Peck, another man who
influenced Sweet, endorsed Matthew Fox’s book, The Coming of the Cosmic
Christ
. Peck described the defrocked heretical Catholic priest Teilhard de
Chardin as “the greatest prophet of the evolutionary leap” to a “global
consciousness and world community,” which is “a giant leap forward in the
evolution of the human race.”
[xvii]

Yet another unwholesome
influence over Leonard Sweet’s idea of Quantum Spirituality is New Age leader
David Spangler. According to New Age expert Constance Cumbey, “David Spangler
has publicly identified Matthew Fox as one of his ‘best friends.”
[xviii]
Given these interconnections, it is not surprising then that Sweet also cited
Spangler positively, saying:

I am
grateful to David Spangler for his help in formulating this “new cell”
understanding of New Light leadership.
[xix]

Spangler’s “new cell” idea
articulated the classic New Age view of a cellular networking structure of the
universe, in which everything and everybody is connected and all are destined to
become part of one universal cosmic whole (body). Spangler wrote:

As the
energies of the Cosmic Christ
become increasingly manifest within the
etheric life of Earth, many individuals will begin to respond with the
realization that the Christ dwells within them.
[xx]
[bold added]

Leonard Sweet, who admits he
had been corresponding with Spangler, likewise wrote about this “new cell”
concept, stating that  his concept of Quantum Spirituality was related to the
theoretical “cosmion”—“a well ordered thing that has the character of the
universe.” Sweet then suggested that cosmions would facilitate the paradigm
shift to a new spiritual order:

New Lights
offer up themselves as the cosmions of a mind-of-Christ consciousness.
As a cosmion incarnating the cells of a new body, New Lights will
function as transitional vessels through which transforming energy
can renew the divine image in the world, moving postmoderns from one
state of embodiment to another
.
[xxi]
[bold added]

Leonard Sweet believed that “we
constitute together a cosmic body of Christ.”
[xxii]
This ethereal cosmic “Christ” body would be made up of “cells.” Similarly, the
New Agers have the concept of human “cells” making up an evolutionary emerging
cosmic organism. Much of this is articulated in Marilyn Ferguson’s book that
publicly outed the New Age Movement, The Aquarian Conspiracy.
[xxiii]
Similarly, in his book Reimagination of the World, David Spangler used
quantum physics to describe the Cosmic Christ:

Where is
the Christ that is revealing itself and incarnating now? Where is the Christ in
nature and in the Earth? Where is the feminine Christ?

With new
discoveries in biology and quantum physics, we are seeing more and more
what mystics have always seen: the process side of reality, its
interconnectedness, its interpenetratingness, its blendedness. Where is the
Christ in this expanding worldview?

The Christ
becomes the Cosmic Christ
.
Just as an advertiser can repackage a product and call it “new and improved,” so
the Cosmic Christ repackages the Christ. In fact, the essential qualities of
this presence remain the same. The Christ is the Christ is the Christ. That is
true whether we view its actions within an individual, a planet, or the
cosmos
as a whole. However, the new packaging may make it more accessible to
people and help us to recognize some of those qualities of the Christ that we
have been overlooking for the past two thousand years.

FRACTAL
SPIRITUALITY

W
arren
Smith details his journey as he discovered how the Quantum Physics concept of
Fractals was being woven into popular bestselling books like The Shack.
In his search he read an

online article titled “Fractal
Chaos Crashes the Wall Between Science and Religion” which stated:

New
discoveries in the science and mathematics of Chaos research are
revolutionizing our world view.
They reveal a hidden fractal order
underlying all seemingly chaotic events. The fractals are intricate and
beautiful. They repeat basic patterns, but with an infinity of variations and
forms. The world-view emerging from this scientific research is new, and yet at
the same time ancient. With a little thought, and the help of this web, you can
better understand the significance of Chaos and Fractals. You can see how to use
these insights in your life to create a bridge between Science and
Spirituality
.

As the
mystic sages of long ago put it, “as above, so below.”
[xxv]
[bold added]

Smith then analyzed this
fractal-inspired Quantum Spirituality:

But what
is being presented as “science” is actually an occult/New Age worldview
,
which presents the New Age belief that much of the “chaos” in the world is the
result of people not properly perceiving the “interconnectedness” of all things.
In other words, what appears to be “chaos” is often just “the observer” not
seeing the “as above, so below”/God “in” everything/“fractal order” that defines
all creation. This postulated fractal order is directly related to Teilhard de
Chardin, Matthew Fox, and Leonard Sweet’s quantum spirituality/Creation
Spirituality. The Shack’s references to fractals—references I had
overlooked when I first read the book—immediately explain why author William
Young capitalizes the letter “C” in the word “Creation” at least twenty times in
The Shack. The capital “C” reflects what his “Jesus” is teaching—that God
is “in” all things—including “Creation.”

From the
perspective of the New Age/New Spirituality, it makes perfect sense that The
Shack’s
“Jesus” states that God is “in” all things. Mack—the main
character—is seeing his life as “a mess” rather than as a “fractal” part of
“God.” This is because he is not seeing the “as above, so below” fractal order
of “God in all things.” From this perspective, it also makes perfect sense that
The Shack’s “Holy Spirit” told Mack that his life only seems chaotic and
“a mess”—that in reality, he was actually “a living fractal.”

From this
“Fractal Wisdom” website, I could see the deceptive New Age ploy regarding the
word fractal and its relationship to “as above, so below.” If all of capital “C”
Creation is “God” and thus composed of “God” atoms and energy, then any fractal
part of that “God” energy is therefore a part of God. Man is a fractal. Man is
God. That is why Mack is told he is “a living fractal.” That is why Mack is told
that God is “in” all things. The word fractal is being used as a
pseudo-scientific synonym for the belief that God is “in” everything—everything
being a fractal or a fractured part of the whole, a fractured part of God.

Taken a step further, The Shack is indirectly presenting the notion that
“chaos” is simply the result of people not seeing the “God in everything”
fractal order in the world—“as above, so below.”

Thus,
The Shack
—like Leonard Sweet’s quantum spirituality—subtly introduces the
New Age/New Spirituality as a worldview that puts forth the notion that “chaos”
can be significantly overcome when humanity stops seeing itself as “separate”
but rather sees itself as “One”—as a part of the “God” who is “in” everyone and
everything.

The TAO OF
PHYSICS

A
s
a former New Ager, Warren Smith recognized early on that the concept of Quantum
Spirituality was directly connected to the New Age views of Fritjof Capra in his
1975 best-selling book on quantum physics,

The Tao of Physics: An
Exploration of the Parallels between Modern Physics and Eastern Mysticism.
Smith explains that
Capra, a research physicist,

was the
first to present this proposed scientific/spiritual model to a mass audience. In
it, Capra explains that he gained new spiritual insights through a mystical
experience he had sitting on a beach in Santa Cruz, California in 1969:

Five
years ago, I had a beautiful experience which set me on a road that has led to
the writing of this book. I was sitting by the ocean one late summer afternoon,
watching the waves rolling in and feeling the rhythm of my breathing, when I
suddenly became aware of my whole environment as being engaged in a gigantic
cosmic dance…. As I sat on that beach my former experiences [research in
high-energy physics] came to life; I “saw” cascades of energy coming down from
outer space, in which particles were created and destroyed in rhythmic pulses; I
“saw” the atoms of the elements and those of my body participating in this
cosmic dance of energy; I felt its rhythm and I “heard” its sound, and at that
moment I knew that this was the Dance of Shiva, the Lord of Dancers
worshipped by the Hindus.

Commenting
on his experience thirty years later, Capra writes that back in 1970 he “knew
with absolute certainty that the parallels between modern physics and Eastern
mysticism would someday be common knowledge.” In 1999, in a twenty-fifth
anniversary edition of his book, Capra reflects on the fact that The Tao of
Physics
had sold more than a million copies over the years and had been
translated into at least twelve languages:

What
did The Tao of Physics touch off in all these people? What was it they had
experienced themselves? I had come to believe that the recognition of the
similarities between modern physics and Eastern mysticism is part of a much
larger movement, of a fundamental change of worldviews, or paradigms, in science
and society, which is now happening throughout Europe and North America and
which amounts to a profound cultural transformation. This transformation, this
profound change of consciousness, is what so many people have felt intuitively
over the past two or three decades, and this is why The Tao of Physics has
struck such a responsive chord.

Capra
adds:

The
awareness of the unity and mutual interrelation of all things and events,
the experience of all phenomena as manifestations of a basic oneness, is also
the most important common characteristic of Eastern worldviews. One could say it
is the very essence of those views, as it is of all mystical traditions. All
things are seen as interdependent, inseparable, and as transient patterns of the
same ultimate reality
.[xxvii][bold
added]

Tragically, this is the same
teaching of quantum physicist David Bohm—whose ideas are favorably articulated
by popular evangelical bible teacher Chuck Missler in Cosmic Codes: Hidden
Messages from the Edge of Eternity
:

But the
holographic paradigm also serves as a most provocative model of interconnected
relationships
which goes far beyond simply a curiosity of imagery. It may
provide us with a totally different insight into consciousness; it may even give
us a glimpse into the very nature of reality itself…
[xxviii]
[bold added]

One of the
implications of Bohm’s view has to do with the nature of location. Bohm’s
interpretation of quantum physics indicated that at the subquantum level
location ceased to exist
. All points in space become equal to all other
points in space, and it was meaningless to speak of anything as being separate
from anything else.
Physicists call this property “nonlocality.”
[xxix]
[bold added]

In other words, “all is one,”
or “as above, so below.”

LEONARD
SWEET & THE NEW AGE GURUS

I
n
May 2000 Bob Buford’s Leadership Network sponsored an “Exploring Off the Map”
conference to help launch what would become known as the Emergent Church
movement.
[xxx]
This futurist conference was cleverly disguised as the Lewis and Clark
expedition, called a “Corps of Discovery,” complete with all of trappings of an
elaborately decorated hotel with a waterfall, bridges, murals of campsights and
trails, and a big mess tent to eat in. Over 550 church leaders reportedly
attended this mega-event that took 18 months of preparation.

Leonard Sweet was the moderator
for this event that was attended by key New Age business “gurus” who were called
“Chief Scouts.” This included Peter Senge, Margaret Wheatley, Ken Blanchard
and his wife Marjorie, Jim Collins, and others. A simple Internet search
on these names will reveal that they are recognized leaders in the New Age
movement. But they were associates of Peter Drucker, and most likely by his
invitation they became leaders that trained evangelical pastors!
[xxxi]
Leadership Network has a long history of being friendly towards these “gurus,”
and had even written a rave review of Peter Senge’s The Fifth Discipline
Field Book
.
[xxxii]

The Leadership Network’s
“emerging church” newsletter account of the “Exploring Off the Map” conference
described the “mission” as:

The
mission of the Corps was to “look beyond the present-day horizon and explore the
changing national global landscape for the purpose of charting new maps for
the 21
st
century
[xxxiii][bold
added]

Leonard Sweet moderated the
conference and delivered the “final scouting report” where he praised Margaret
Wheatley and Peter Senge for their “passion” and insights. It is clear from his
comments that these “guru” presenters were encouraging the evangelical pastors
present to “explore off the map” doctrinally by accepting postmodern elements of
“change.” And the evangelical pastors were being challenged to dismantle the
“institution” of the church and restructure it because, as Margaret Wheatley
claimed, “They are the wrong forms for this age.” Sweet summarized:

As we
explore off the map, we’re finding that in this native culture there is more
openness than ever before to the notion that the most powerful forces in this
universe are the invisible forces, the unseen forces, the spiritual forces.”
[xxxiv]

In one of the summary reports
on the event, evangelical leader Todd Hunter described Peter Senge’s session as
“prophetic,” and made the amazing statement that:

Listening
to Margaret Wheatley was for me a spiritual experience…. I believe, like Senge,
she was also being prophetic….”
[xxxv]

Hunter also said that Ken and
Marjorie Blanchard talked about “creating the future,” which is a key New Age
belief—that man can create “alternative scenarios” and change the End-Times.
[xxxvi]

A year later Leadership Network
gave further credence to the New Age views of Margaret Wheatley when they
interviewed her for their Church Champions newsletter on the topic of
“Leadership and the New Science.” In this interview Wheatley promoted the ideas
in her New Age book Leadership and the New Science (Berrett Koehler
Publishers, 1992, 1999). She clearly delineated her New Age beliefs about the
merger of quantum science and Quantum Spirituality. She even talked about
“fractals.”
[xxxvii]

Margaret Wheatley and Peter
Senge have both incorporated the meditation and beliefs of Buddhism into their
esoteric concept of organizations and communities. Their version of Buddhism is
perfectly compatible with Quantum Spirituality. In 2001 (during this same time
period), Senge and Wheatley were interviewed in the Buddhist New Age
publication,Shambhala Sun. Margaret Wheatley explained their evolutionary
view of quantum “change”:

I think
that both Peter and I have both found there’s great depth in understanding life
from a Buddhist perspective….

[M] my
awareness of change and uncertainty came through my studies in biology…. That
awareness of the continuous change called life led me to very ancient
spiritual traditions….

Once I
looked past the Western cultural tradition, it was a great comfort and teaching
to understand that most other cultures—not only Buddhism but all indigenous
cultures
—have well understood that life is a process of continuous change.
[xxxviii]

The graphic
Exhibit A

at the top of the page is from
Leadership Network’s NEXT publication, Oct-Nov-Dec 1999.
[xxxix]
It illustrates how Leadership Network had already been incorporating the quantum
mystical teachings on “Fractaling” as a way to grow large megachurches. The
fractal concept applied to church growth was based on the same holistic cellular
structure that Len Sweet described in his Quantum Spirituality book. Each
cell/fractal/small group in a large-bodied megachurch would become
replicating. This networking concept of rapid cellular replication became known
as “exponential growth” and it also formed the structure of C. Peter Wagner’s
New Apostolic Reformation. (See the graphic exhibit at Herescope’s post,

“Documenting
Dominionism
.”)

Leonard Sweet got his start in
evangelical education circles with the image of a sort of hip counter culture
figure. But he was flagged as an up-and-comer in the 1990s and became an
Emergent Church leader, partially as a result of a publishing arrangement
between Jossey-Bass and Leadership Network (that utilized viral marketing
techniques).
[xl]
Leadership Network wrote that it was Sweet’s book Quantum Spirituality
that influenced much of their work:

Last week,
author/professor/church historian/cultural observer Len Sweet was in Dallas to
deliver a lecture series for a local congregation. Some colleagues and I
attended the Monday luncheon and as we were waiting for the event to begin, my
mind wandered back to the first time I heard him speak. It was another September
morning in 1991, and on the recommendation of a friend, I had just finished
reading Quantum Spirituality. I was so taken by the scope and insight in the
book that I had to know more about this guy. His writing was so fresh and he
managed to articulate the transition underway from the modern world to
postmodern world in ways that I had never heard expressed before. I tracked him
down to his office in Dayton, Ohio, where he was then serving as the president
of United Seminary and learned that he would be speaking in Dallas later that
month. Since then, our paths have crossed many times at various learning events
and meetings across the country and each time I learn something.
[xli]

Sweet was a speaker at the
Leadership Network sponsored “The National Reevaluation Forum” in Glorieta, New
Mexico on October 12-15, 1998, a encounter group styled seminar which focused on
adapting the church to the postmodern transition. “[M]ore than 500 young leaders
of the new millennium’s emerging church” attended the event, which was an
apparent precursor for the “Exploring Off the Map” conference a few years later.
Leadership Network’s NEXT newsletter also reported that

“maps for
this journey are still in process. Noted theologian and semiotician Len Sweet
offered this observation: ‘The primary challenge in this Postmodern
transition is navigational tools. Each person or church becomes their own
cartographer.’”
[xlii][bold
in original]

The same newsletter included an
article titled simply “Mystical,” which recommended:

The Church
must also fight against an individualistic form of spirituality
.
In an attempt to guard against these failures, churches are returning to the
“old” and using guided meditative prayer, prayer walks, incense, candles,
chanting and other historical Christian rituals
.
[xliii]

In brief, Sweet’s ideas about
Quantum Spirituality and mysticism were being incorporated into the Leadership
Network’s programs during this late 1990s time period during the pivotal era
when they doing trial experiments for the formation of the Emergent Church
Movement. He was also influencing megachurch leaders with his cell/fractal
theories. How many thousands of pastors were trained via Leadership Network with
Sweet’s mystical  ideas?

A 1997 conference advertised by
Leadership Network included Bill Easum and Len Sweet discussing “21
st
Strategies: ‘Implications of the Quantum World’” in a newsletter that also
featured a front-page article by New Age business guru Jim Collins, who would
later be invited to be a presenter at the “Exploring Off the Map” conference.
The graphic arts for his article included

ying/yang

logos throughout the text.
[xliv]

And, significantly, in the same
Leadership Network newsletter, an experimental conference on mysticism, “’The
True & the Beautiful’: a new generation at worship,” included a mystical poem
called “The Road to the Future runs through the past.” In this poem one can see
the roadmap that became Emergent Mysticism:

The signs
are everywhere –

from the
spectacular success of

“Chant,”
an album featuring

Gregorian
chants sung for more

than a
millenium, to the mass

appeal of
Taize, a monastic

group
based in France that

and
candlelight vigils.

The search
for authentic

spirituality among Generation X

is leading
– among other places –

to the
treasures offered by the

confessional traditions of

the
Reformation, Orthodoxy,

and
Catholicism. This conference

will

of the
past in developing

worship for the

movement.

Quantum
Spirituality Goes Mainstream

I
n
the past decade Leonard Sweet has repositioned himself as a mainstream
evangelical. In January 2002 he was a featured speaker at the “Beyond All Limits
Conference” conference in Orlando, Florida sponsored by Campus Crusade for
Christ International (CCCI) along with Rick Warren, Billy Graham, Larry Burkett,
John Maxwell, Bill and Vonette Bright and others.
[xlvi]
On April 21-24, 2008 he spoke at an “Exponential Conference” with evangelical
leaders such as Rick Warren, Tim Keller, Andy Stanley, and Alan Hirsch.
[xlvii]
Despite his attempts to market his new image, eventually Sweet’s efforts to
become mainstream became controversial.
[xlviii]

Currently Leonard Sweet is
associated with an organization called Second Billion, a downline networking
global church growth group with an online Global Church Learning Center

www.GCLC.tv
where he
is on the faculty.
[xlix]
This group gives him a global outreach to train pastors in his Quantum
Spirituality views. For example, in June 2008 He spoke at a Second Billion
conference in Jarkarta, Indonesia to evangelical mission leaders.

On February 29 this year, the Second Billion
organization issued “A Special Message From Dr. Ken Blanchard” e-mail. The
e-mail included a 2-minute video to hear Blanchard’s “heart and vision” in
promoting a “World Leaders Conference.”

Conference Speakers
 included: Tony
Blair, Erwin McManus, Bill Hybels, Laurie Beth Jones, Henry Cloud, Craig
Groeschel, and others. (See

“What Is
the World Leaders Conference?”
FAQS and list
of sponsors.
)

Second Billion has the goal to
“double the size of the global church.” Leadership Network’s megastar
LeonardSweet has played a key leadership
role, especially at its
Synergize! conferences.
Second Billion is also connected with the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) at
many levels, including shared personnel such as
Sunday
Adelaja
 and Jim
Garlow
.[l]
An e-mail sent out 7/13/07 promoted the

Dominionist
 ideal, “Be equipped to
impact
‘seven
spheres’
 of society.” Sweet also
co-authored Jesus Manifesto with Frank Viola, who has ties to the NAR.
[li]
Sweet has even published his own Bible version –

The
Voice Bible: Step Into the Story of Scripture

–  where he employs narratives and poetry to tell Bible stories.

Quantum
Ecumenical Metaphysics

I
n
his book Quantum Spirituality, Leonard Sweet set the stage for the
evangelical church world to embrace the concept of a psychic science and its
accompanying

panentheism
.[lii]
In his book Soul
Tsunami
, Sweet admitted frankly what he was doing:

Physics

is increasingly becoming the study of matter so small (is it a wave? Is it a
particle?) as to become the study of consciousness. In other words, physics
is becoming metaphysics
.
[liii]

Sweet opened the door to an
expanded religion of the universe in which the whole cosmos would come into
“formation” (as in the spiritual formation envisioned by Teilhard de Chardin).
Sweet defined this spiritual formation in quantum physics terms, referring to it
in terms like energy, thermodynamics, entropy and evolution. Using inventive
terminology, he stated:

According
to the Oxford English Dictionary, to inform means “to give form to, put into
form and shape.” The purpose of the church is to give form to, to put into
form and shape, the energymatter known as Jesus Christ. New Light
 leaders,
therefore, are in-formational connectors helping the body of Christ to
become an in-formed church, an in-formational community…..A major New Light undertaking
is the designing of newstream communities that can be ‘in connection’ and
‘in-formation’ with the spirit of Christ. Christ will be embodied for the
postmodern church in information.
[liv]

Sweet’s version of progressive
spirituality, in which we are all emerging as a “Christ consciousness,” “organic
relationships,” “community,” along with his idea that the “biblical doctrine of
salvation [has a]… communal dimension” became his life work – what he termed
“The synergizing of synergies.”[lv] His Quantum Spirituality worldview was
cosmic in scope. He wrote that

a
spirituality that is not in some way entheistic (whether pan- or trans-), that
does not extend to the spirit-matter of the cosmos, is not Christian
.[lvi]

This “Christ consciousness”
could be furthered by small cell groups which would facilitate the spiritual
formation of a “Christ consciousness”:

The power
of small groups is in their ability to develop the discipline to get
people “in-phase” with the Christ consciousness and connected with one
another.
[lvii]

And most significantly, Sweet’s
“in-formation” concept of emerging spiritual formation is very ecumenical,
encompassing all other world religions.
[lviii]
Sweet’s statements below may help to explain the use of ancient pagan
mythologies and occult sources by the currently popular quantum collaborators
like Tom Horn and Chuck Missler:

One can be
a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ without denying the flickers of the sacred
in followers of Yahweh, or Kali, or Krishna.
 A
globalization of evangelism ‘in connection’ with others, and a globally
‘in-formed’ gospel, is capable of talking across the fence with Hindu,
Buddhist, Sikh, Muslim
–people from other so called ‘new’ religious
traditions (‘new’ only to us)—without assumption of superiority and power….
[lix]

A
surprisingly central feature of all the world’s religions is the language of
light in communicating the divine and symbolizing the union of the human with
the divine:
 Muhammed’s light-filled cave, Moses’ burning bush, Paul’s
blinding light, Fox’s “inner light,” Krishna’s Lord of Light, Bohme’s
light-filled cobbler shop, Plotinus’ fire experiences, Bodhisattvas with the
flow of Kundalini’s fire erupting from their fontanelles, and so on.
[lx]

What is this emerging “Christ
consciousness” and how does it relate to the Quantum Spirituality idea? In 2008,
Herescope explained the views of Teilhard de Chardin, father of the modern New
Age movement:

Teilhard
de Chardin’s “Principle of Emergence” had to do with the consciousness of
mankind breaking out collectively, creating an evolutionary convergence (a
Noosphere
built by

spiritual formation
)
that would result in a “super-organism” of “collective mankind ” (quotes from
The Phenomenon of Man
and The Future of Man). The term

“emergent”

itself is steeped in Teilhardian evolutionary ideology, and the modern New Age
movement has popularized it to mean the manifestation of new examples of
humanity’s evolution towards this supposed collective consciousness.

Teilhard
also proposed an alternative eschatology, an ‘”eschatological’ vision” in which
“in order that the Kingdom of God may come…, it is necessary, as an essential
physical condition, that the human Earth should already have attained the
natural completion of its evolutionary growth… that the ultra-human perfection
which neo-humanism envisages for Evolution will coincide in concrete terms with
the crowning of the Incarnation awaited by all Christians” (The Future of Man,
p. 280), which achieves “God all in everyone” (The Phenomenon of Man,
p. 310, italics in original).
[lxi]

All of this hearkens to a New
Age Quantum Spirituality – one which was being incorporated into the evangelical
church by progressive degrees over a period of several decades. The seeds
planted by Leonard Sweet’s Quantum Spirituality mysticism, nurtured along
by Leadership Network, have now come full bloom in the open Quantum Mystisicm
that is creating a Quantum Eschatology to deceive the church in these last days.

Pastor Larry DeBruyn aptly
summed up this quantum cosmic deception in his book Unshackled: Breaking Away
from Seductive Spirituality
:

Emergent
Christians like Leonard Sweet, who allow their worldview to be influenced by
such spirituality, are being taken captive by philosophy and vain deceit.
91The
“elements of the world” first enrapture and then capture their souls. Like Judah
who played the harlot with other gods, their fixation upon science seduces them
into spiritual bondage. Captivation with the cosmos leads to being captured by
the cosmos, the very “system” which Scripture informs us, “lies in the power of
the evil one” (1 John 5:19).
[lxii]

 And
Jesus answered and said to them,

“See to
it that no one misleads you.

“For
many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’

and
will mislead many.

~ Matthew 24:4-5

The fact that Bob Buford’s Leadership Network, which Rick Warren was closely

intimately involved from the onset, intentionally set up the Emergent Church
movement to drive the church towards New Age Spirituality was documented in a
series of posts on Herescope by the Discernment Research Group:

Quantum Mysticism Goes to Market

COSMS,
CODES, AND CRYPTOLOGIES,

Conclusion

It becomes
a slippery spiritual slope when pagan myths are believed to be informants of
biblical truth. Subjects like those being raised by the Horns and others ought
to be approached with extreme caution because, as the Genesis record informs,
human imagination is a spawning bed for idolatry (Genesis 6:5). So believers
beware, lest we become followers of “cunningly devised fables” (2 Peter
1:16).

—Pastor
Larry DeBruyn, “Demons, Daughters and DNA”
[1]

Preface

Scripture + “Sacred
Writings” = Heresy

T
he
issues brought forth in this 9-part series are not a simple doctrinal debate
over the Nephilim of Genesis 6.
[2]
Rather, serious questions have been raised about the extra-biblical
material that is being added into Scripture
[3]–material
that is feeding speculations about the return of the Nephilim and mysterious
hidden codes supposedly embedded in the Bible.

Adding to Scripture

is what is at issue here. The quantum collaborators teach that the End-Time
prophecies of the book of Revelation (and elsewhere) can be supplemented and
enhanced by other so-called “sacred writings” such as: apocryphal,
pseudepigraphical and Gnostic writings; ancient mythologies, folklore and
legends; astrological and zodiacal imagery; science fiction (UFOs, alien
visitations, etc.); magical and alchemical writings; psychological (Jungian),
anthropological, sociological and philosophical writings; scientific and
pseudo-scientific theories; the writings of various mystics; oracles and ghost
stories of spiritualism; the Mayan calendar; Masonic lore; secret code formulas;
inspirational literature; modern speculative writings including fairy tales,
poetry and fiction; and other quasi-spiritual sources.

But adding these things to the
the Bible’s plain accounts of Jesus’ soon return is resulting in a new
ecumenism! The evangelical world has now opened itself up to other world
religions (past and present) and their occult teachings! And like the proverbial
“can of worms,” this new ecumenism is unleashing all sorts of mystical
imaginations and unrestrained surmisings, spiritual conjectures, and quantum
science hypotheses. Some of these speculations are downright wild, even
bizarre—sounding more like science fiction than the simple and humble Gospel of
Salvation.

What did the church used to
teach about those things that are a mystery—things that the Bible doesn’t
clearly tell us about the vast unknown cosmos? Curious speculations about
matters beyond Scripture used to be considered off limits for man to dwell upon.
Matthew Poole in his 1600s Commentary on the Bible, informs us on the
Bible’s frank statement about the completion of God’s creation in Genesis 2:1:
“
Thus the heavens and
the earth were finished, and all the host of them.”

All the
creatures in heaven and earth are called their hosts, for their multitude,
variety, order, power, and subjection to the Lord of hosts. Particularly,
the host of heaven in Scripture (which is its own best interpreter)
signifies both the stars, as Deut. 4:19; 17:3; Isa. 34:4; and the angels, as 1
Kings 22:19; 2 Chron. 18:18; Luke 2:13; who from these words appear to have been
created within the compass of the first six days, which also is probable from
Col. 1:16,17. But it no wonder that the Scripture saith so little concerning
angels, because it was written for the use of men, not of angels; and God would
hereby take us off from curious and impertinent speculations, and teach us to
employ our thoughts about necessary and useful things
.
[4]
[bold added]

In our modern age, with its
Hollywoodized process of desensitization, man has become fascinated with the
paranormal. What was once off limits, is now outer limits. The
border between fact (biblical Truth) and fiction (pagan stories,
myths, legends, etc.) has been breached.
[5]
The result is spiritual fraud (heresy). Furthermore, pan-spiritual and
pseudo-scientific teachings are now being concocted into an End-Time Alchemy—a
dangerous doctrinal stew.

The Discernment Research Group
published this article series because we are deeply concerned that good saints
have been captivated by these fanciful storytellers with their dramatic imagery.
Some have told us that they can “handle” this sort of imaginative mixture. Maybe
they can. But sadly, there are many new or fragile believers who could easily
become lured into the occult world through exposure to these quantum teachings.
This is unconscionable!

This article series was a
massive project of the Discernment Research Group that took a year and a half to
complete. [See Editor’s Note at the end.]  In keeping with our mission, we
focused primarily on the biblical truth versus the error. However, there are
many other side issues that came up during our research that left us with
lingering, disturbing questions about the quantum collaborators’ connections,
activities and associations.
[6]

Our heartfelt desire is to urge
our friends and fellow discerners, researchers and readers, to please consider
the evidence presented in this extensive 9-part series and weigh it in the light
of Scripture. We plead with you to consider the admonition of Jesus Christ in
Matthew 24:4, when speaking of His imminent return: “
Take
heed that no man deceive you.”

Connection ≠ Collaboration

NOTE CAREFULLY:

Much of the information contained in this article series has not been written
about previously, especially not in a scholarly and thorough fashion. Most
people have been completely unaware of the huge interconnected marketing empire
and far-reaching network of quantum collaboration. Today’s post provides an
overview of this popular and fast-growing movement. It will take time to digest
this lengthy series, examine the issues, follow the documentation, and look at
the facts.

CAUTION:
Not
every name you see listed in this exhaustive compendium in today’s post is
involved in the inner workings of this network! Some have perhaps just gone
along for the ride—swayed by the focus on End-Time prophecies, patriotic fervor,
concern about Israel, or the persuasive, vivid and imaginative stories. It can
be assumed that most people have not considered the full ramifications of their
involvement in this network. But those who have been involved at any
level with this End-Time Quantum Mysticism should take the opportunity to look
at the facts, consider them in light of Scripture, and make a responsible
decision.

STOP!
before
you rush to condemn someone for showing up on the exhaustive lists on this post!
Do not employ the faulty and unethical technique of “guilt by association.”
Please do not rush to judge! We urge you to kindly ask people to read this
series, and discuss it with them, in the gentle spirit of Paul in

Acts 20:31
:
“
Therefore watch, and
remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night
and day with tears.”

We plead with you folks reading
this – many of whom have been unawares before – now that you know more of the
story, please jump off this Quantum Mysticism bandwagon and get back to the
Bible.
[7]
Our ardent prayers are that you will seriously consider these admonitions and
warnings.

Now
therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away
the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt;
and serve ye the LORD. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose
you this day whom ye will serve
; whether the gods which your fathers served
that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose
land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. And
the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to
serve other gods.
(Joshua
24:14-16)

the Quantum Mysticism movement grows and the Quantum Eschatology doctrine

in a worldly, competitive way?
[11]
Frankly, there is much money to be made in this emerging hybrid theology.

Here is a sampling of current

There are also conferences that
give Horn and his associates additional visibility. In September of 2011, for
example, Tom Horn was a presenter at the Steeling the Mind Bible Conference
in Denver, CO, alongside such popular evangelical speakers as, Mike Gendron, Ed
Hindson, John Loeffler, Dr. Stanley Monteith, and Tom Cloud. Horn’s topic:
“Artificial Intelligence and the Return of the Nephilim.”
[17]
Also in the fall of 2011, Horn was a presenter at the Southwest Radio Church
Conference in Bristol, VA hosted by Noah Hutchings. His presentation was called,
“’The Lost Symbol’—Mayan and Biblical Prophecy 1776-2012,” based on his book,
Apollyon Rising 2012

How many of the nearly “5
million unique visitors,” or “40 million pageviews” involved viewing postings
promoting Tom Horn or Chuck Missler? How many of those readers purchased a Horn
or Missler product from the WND Superstore? The point in asking is this:
via WND’s vast Internet reach, many have already been exposed to these
men and their false teachings.

CAHN’S CODES
AND CONNECTIONS

 Recently
both Joseph Farah and Chuck Missler have taken an interest in yet another
Christian author, Jonathan Cahn, whose book, The Harbinger, has taken
America by storm, debuting on two New York Best Seller lists in January.
[36]
Farah produced a DVD based on Cahn’s semi-fictional book called: The Isaiah
9:10 Judgment
—centering upon supposed secret prophecies hidden in the
Book of Isaiah
that portend America’s doom. Missler promotes this production
on his website and his online bookstore.
[37]

The Harbinger

continues the pattern of finding coded secret messages about the future embedded
in Scripture. Because this book is of a similar genre, and because it is taking
America by storm, it is important to examine whether it is affiliated with the
other quantum collaborators. Its author Rabbi Jonathan Cahn has recently
appeared as a guest on a wide spectrum of shows:

•

It’s
Supernatural

television program with Sid Roth – September 19-25, 2011
[38]

•

The Jim
Bakker Show

with Jim Bakker – December 15, 2011
[39]

•

[40]

•

Coast to
Coast AM

with George Noory – March 4, 2012
[41]

•

Daystar’s
Celebration television program with Marcus and Joni Lamb – March 8, 2012
[42]

•

Prophecy

television program with Gary Stearman – April 13, 2012
[43]

•

Ministries’ Understanding the Times radio with Jan Markell – April 21,
2012
[44]

•

Rapture
Ready Radio’s Afterglow with Tim Roden and Vince Tarquini – May 6, 2012
[45]

However, Rabbi Cahn also has
ties to the NAR. He shared in a Passover celebration April 5-8 with NAR elite
apostles C. Peter Wagner, Chuck Pierce, Dutch Sheets, et al. Here is an
opening excerpt of Pierce’s Glory of Zion letter to his ministry friends:

Dear
Saints on the move:

What an
incredible weekend! I am so grateful for how the Lord met us during our
Passover Celebration
, and for the revelation, anointing and alignment that
took place. Our weekend was historic, and I fully believe we have crossed
over into a new place of healing, miracles and Kingdom authority
.
Jonathan Cahn
helped open our weekend when he shared on the harbingers which
are serving to awaken our nation. We are in a season when our eyes must open
to the signs the Lord is providing us
.
[46][bold/underlining
added, italics in original]

According to these prominent
NAR Dominionists, Cahn’s “harbingers” are signs from the Lord. Note their
application of his coded message. To them, this year’s Passover was an historic
marker moving God’s saints into “a new place of healing, miracles and Kingdom
authority
.” (No mention was made concerning the death, burial and
resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.)

Cahn’s The Harbinger is
also for sale on the NAR-affiliated Elijah List, along with a glowing
endorsement by Sid Roth, messianic Jewish host of the television program
It’s Supernatural, where Cahn was a guest.
[47]
To understand the context, note that past guests on Roth’s program have included
NAR elite apostles such as Chuck Missler, Dr. Cindy Trimm, L.A. Marulli, Chuck
Pierce, Rick Joyner, Patricia King and others.
[48]
Cahn wrote the cover article for Roth’s ministry newsletter in September of
2011, called Mishpochah (Hebrew for “family”). His mystical questions
superimposed over a photo of the Statue of Liberty on the newsletter’s front
page indicate how he is applying the coded message of his book:

Is it
possible that there exists an ancient mystery in which is hidden the
secret of America’s future
? Is it possible that this mystery lies
behind everything from 9/11, to the War in Iraq, to the American housing bubble
and its bursting, to the crash of Wall Street and the global economy to the
Great Recession and much more, even the President of the United States?

A
Harbinger: That which foreshadows a future event; an omen, a herald, a sign
:
THE HARBINGER, BY Jonathan Cahn.
[49]
[bold added]

Many are sympathetic to Cahn’s
views about America and agree with the warnings. But given the context of this
article series, the use of hidden and coded messages embedded in the Bible, we
must go beyond patriotic fervor and ask more serious questions. Are there coded
secrets hidden in the Book of Isaiah? In the Roth article, Cahn not only
approves with this method of decoding prophecy (by uncovering secret messages
hidden beneath the biblical text)—then applying them to America—but moves his
fictional
book into the real world of prophecy with these pronouncements:

A number
of years ago, as I was standing at the edge of Ground Zero in New York City, I
came across the first puzzle piece of an ancient biblical mystery
and a prophetic message known as The Harbinger that
concerns the future of America. My friend Sid Roth asked if I could give
you, his Mishpochah (family), some exclusive insight into the mystery
of The Harbinger….

There is
much more concerning the ancient mystery and what the future holds
than I could possibly share here — but I do so now as a prophetic call to
you as God’s people. On the biblical calendar, September is the time of the
trumpet call, the days of repentance, and the calling to return. Our nation is
in danger — and God is calling. Pray for America, for God’s mercy, for
repentance, and revival. Arm yourself by ordering my seven CD series that
reveals these ancient mysteries hidden in the pages of biblical prophecy

(see ordering information on the right). Then pray that the message of The
Harbinger
now goes forth
.
[50]
[bold added]

Why didn’t Cahn send readers to
the Bible? Instead they discover that it will cost them $50 to find the answers
to these secret mysteries (plus the cost of the book).
[51]
More marketing. Do his statements above—and his best-selling book—make Cahn a
prophet to America
? If so, then would a true prophet of God find fellowship
with false teachers and false prophets teaching a false gospel, especially the
NAR leaders planning to take dominion over this nation? Sadly, a clear Gospel of
salvation is not given in Cahn’s article.

In the June 2012 issue of the
Berean Call, T.A. McMahon expresses concern over the

unholy bedfellows

with regard to Jonathan Cahn’s book:

One final
thought—we all know the saying, “You shouldn’t judge a book by its cover,” and
that’s a reasonable statement. But I like to check out book covers to see who’s
endorsing them. That’s hardly a failsafe practice, but it can put me on
“discernment alert” if it raises red flags. In the case of The Harbinger,
a big red flag went up regarding the publisher. Though the coversays
“Front Line,” it’s actually an imprint title of Charisma Media/Charisma House
Book Group, the publisher of Charisma magazine. For those not familiar
withCharisma, there is no other publication that has supported and
promoted more of the unbiblical Word/Faith teachers, the “wealth and health”
preachers, the Kingdom/Dominionists, the Apostles and Prophets of the New
Apostolic Reformation, the so-called spirit revivals of the Toronto Airport
Vineyard, the Brownsville Revival, the Lakeland Revivals, the Latter
Rain/Manifest Sons of God, and so forth.
There is some

irony in
the fact that in chapter 9 of Isaiah, TH’s key biblical chapter, God
brings down His judgment upon Israel because of “lying prophets.” Charisma
has over the years featured many who fit that description. That doesn’t
automatically throw TH into a bin of rotten apples, but it should at
least cause one to examine its fruit very carefully.
[52]

Meanwhile, Jonathan Cahn has
gone even more mainstream, associating with other professing evangelicals, a few
of whom are connected with the quantum collaborators. He was a presenter at The
2012 International Prophecy Conference in Florida this March with Tim LaHaye,
Grant Jeffrey, Randall Price, et al. Hosting the event was Joe van Koevering,
head of the God’s News Behind the News prophecy ministry.
[53]
Van Koevering has had a friendship with the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN),
[54]
as well as with quantum collaborator Chuck Missler. Both men have appeared on
TBN’s Praise the Lord television program.
[55]
In April, Missler awarded Van Koevering with an honorary Koinonia Institute gold
medallion.
[56]

Missler was also a presenter at
Joe van Koevering’s 2010 and 2011 International Prophecy conferences, along with
Gary Kah and Grant Jeffrey.
[57]
Jeffrey and Van Koevering have both appeared on Benny Hinn’s television program,
This is Your Day.
[58]
Hinn is an infamous false teacher/false prophet.
[59]
The late Jeffrey also joined false Kansas City Prophet Bob Jones, dominonist
Randy DeMain and quantum collaborator and NAR-affiliated David van Koevering
(different from Joe) in an odd online business venture involving medicinal
hyssop.
[60]
Interestingly, David van Koevering, friend of Chuck Missler, [see

Part 3
]
has prominently linked Joe van Koevering’s God’s New website on his own
website.
[61]

This list of linkages could go
on…. The point is that the same names keep coming up over and over again, and in
similar contexts.

QUANTUM
LEAVEN SPREADING

G
iven
Tom Horn’s and David Flynn’s bizarre teachings with regard to America’s role in
end-times prophecy, this mystical trend in interpreting Bible prophecy is
ominous and alarming (See

Part 6
&Part
7
of this article
series). What does the Bible say about these things? What about mixing truth
with error? Mingling with those espousing another gospel? Is the plain text of
Scripture not sufficient for our day?

It should be clear by this
point that the Quantum Mysticism addressed in this article series is not
confined to the fringes of evangelicalism. There are many notable, respectable,
and influential names on the incomplete list above. Some of these Christian
authors, speakers, and filmmakers may not be fully aware of the quantum
mysticism attached to Horn, Missler, and their close associates. Sadly, their
credibly could also be a casualty of these associations. Because of the enormous
readership, viewership, and listenership of these combined ministries, as well
as their affiliates, how many sheep will become ensnared in Quantum Mysticism?
Where is the Lord Jesus Christ in all of this? Where is His Gospel? Where is the
Word of God?

Meanwhile, Horn’s newest and
latest book promotions and accompanying DVD packages and special offers continue
to flood online bookstores, conference book tables—and his multiple websites.

It is pertinent to our
discussion on Quantum Mysticism to briefly include information about Tom Horn’s
current 528-page  book, Petrus Romanus: the Final Pope is Here
(co-authored by Cris Putnam), which reveals “secrets” from Roman Catholic
sources regarding “hidden knowledge” concerning the end times. Here is some of
what the book’s website says about the book’s contents. Note that besides the
“cryptic” language, the year 2012 continues to be a recurring theme:

•

ONE SECRET
SO SERIOUS we can’t even hint at it until the book is released

•

REVEALED!
THE SECRET FRENCH CODEX written by a Jesuit Mathematician over 60 year ago that
determined his arrival in the year 2012

•

FOUND! THE
ANCIENT MYSTERIOUS LOST BOOK that John Hogue (The Last Pope) said was gone
forever…

•

FROM
MANNING TO MALACHI—Catholic seers who warned of his coming…and died under
mysterious circumstances.

•

THE
CRYPTIC 2012 POEM: When the Pope walks over dead bodies of priests…

•

THE FOURTH

•

UNCANNY
MYSTICS and the Keepers of Hidden Knowledge…

•

2012
STRANGE ATTRACTORS – Maya, Aztec, Zohar, Hindu, Catholic, Masonic, Rosicrucian,
American Indian and many more.

•

THE SECRET
IN THE US CAPITAL AND AT THE VATICAN tied to Mesoamerican 2012 and the coming of
the Dragon…
[62][all
bold, capitalization, punctuation in original]

And so the apostasy, like
leaven, is continuing to rise. The partial listing of books cited in this
article does not take into account newsletters, magazines, DVDs, conference
presentations, online videos, radio broadcasts, etc. that have propelled and
promoted these multiple End-Time heresies.

In the February 2012 issue of
the Koinonia Institute’s Personal Update (a Missler publication), a
6-fingered handprint (alluding to Nephilim)
[63]
appears on the cover in front of a digitized background with the title, “The
Hybrid Age,” by Dr. Thomas R. Horn
. Horn’s featured article, concludes on
page 15 with this statement:

The
“Converging Technologies for Improving Human Performance” document mentioned
above was published nearly a decade ago and predicted the time frame around
2012
as the date after which a new form of humanity would begin emerging
as a result of GRINS alteration. Numerous other national and public reports
have likewise focused on 2012 as an event horizon. Is there a spirit
behind this effort to create a new form of man, a modern Nephilim
following 2012?
Is influence that caused so many ancient occult
societies—the Maya, Aztec, Hindu, Cherokee, the Cumaean Sibyl
(not to
mention prophecies in the Zohar and elsewhere)—to predict the end of their
calendars during 2012 followed by the emergence of a new form of man?
If so, are we witnessing the fulfillment of Matthew 24:37—“But as the days of
Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be”?
[64]
[bold added]

Horn borrows the definition of
“GRINS” (“genetics, robotics, artificial intelligence, and
nanotechnology,”an acronym which, itself, has been enhanced in the last
year)
[65]
in the PU article (See Forbidden Gates):
