“The Secret” Inspirers Join Heavy-Hitting New Agers for
Conference

 

Esther and Jerry Hicks, inspirers for
Rhonda Byrne’s best selling book and DVD, The Secret, will be
joining today’s most prominent New Agers for an October conference.
The

“I Can Do It” event will take place in Florida and speakers
include Wayne Dyer,

Marianne Williamson, Sonia Choquette (tantric sex proponent),
and several other influential mystics/New Agers.

Many people, including many professing Christians, do not consider
The Secret to be a New Age teaching. However, the Hicks admit they
are influenced by a group of spirit guides called Abraham. Rhonda
Byrne gives credit to both the Hicks and the “teachings of Abraham”
for inspiring her to produce The Secret, which has been at the top
of the New York Times Best Sellers list for many months and has
millions of copies now in print and production.
