Stop Al Gore Before He Lies Again..and Again…and Again!: "The New York Times once again is Al Gore's 'enabler', publishing a February 28 opinion editorial, 'We Can't Wish Away Climate Change', despite the mounting evidence that global warming was and is a complete fabrication.

     "In November 2009, the Telegraph... carried a story, 'Al Gore could become world's first carbon billionaire', so let us disabuse ourselves of the notion that Gore just wants to save the world. Heavily invested in the 'carbon credits' scam and technologies whose success depend on people believing fairy tales about 'clean energy' alternatives such as wind and solar energy, Gore has enriched himself by trumpeting the biggest hoax of the modern era.... Coal company to EPA: Explain 'greenhouse' flaws: "...the largest private coal company in the world has petitioned the Environmental Protection Agency for a re-examination of the information the agency used to declare greenhouse gases a health danger.'" Green Lies

Top British scientist says UN panel is losing credibility: "The African claims could be even more embarrassing for the IPCC because they appear not only in its report on climate change impacts but, unlike the glaciers claim, are also repeated in its Synthesis Report. This report is the IPCC’s most politically sensitive publication.... The IPCC is also facing criticism over its reports on how sea level rise might affect Holland. State of the World Forum: 2020 Climate Leadership Campaign: "...we have decided to postpone indefinitely the Washington conference Feb. 28 - Mar. 3....There is simply not a critical mass of receptivity at this time for the kind of 'Climate Summit' we have designed, which has emphasized an integral approach to climate change and the need for an 'urgency coalition' to come together to take immediate and decisive action to resolve the climate crisis. ...Washington is not alone in its inability take serious action with regard to global warming, especially in the aftermath of Copenhagen. UN climate change panel based claims on student dissertation and magazine article: "...researchers have expressed exasperation at the IPCC's use of unsubstantiated claims and sources outside of the scientific literature.  Professor Richard Tol...  who is based at the Economic and Social Research Institute in Dublin, Ireland, said: 'These are essentially a collection of anecdotes.'...'The IPCC is, unfortunately, a highly political organisation with most of the secretariat bordering on climate advocacy." Glacier scientist: I knew data hadn't been verified: "The scientist behind the bogus claim in a Nobel Prize-winning UN report that Himalayan glaciers will have melted by 2035 last night admitted it was included purely to put political pressure on world leaders. Dr Murari Lal also said he was well aware the statement, in the 2007 report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), did not rest on peer-reviewed scientific research." U.S. embraces Copenhagen pact: "...the Obama Administration formally embraced the Copenhagen Accord on global warming on Thursday.... U.S. climate envoy Todd Stern gave notice to the United Nations that the country will aim for a 17 percent emissions cut in carbon dioxide and other gases blamed for global warming.... "Graham said the nuclear and oil drilling initiatives would not advance in the Senate without dealing with emissions."

No smoking hot spot: [Australia] "I devoted six years to carbon accounting, building models for the Australian Greenhouse Office. I am the rocket scientist who wrote the carbon accounting model (FullCAM) that measures Australia's compliance with the Kyoto Protocol.... But...'When the facts change, I change my mind.'... The world has spent $50 billion on global warming since 1990, and we have not found any actual evidence that carbon emissions cause global warming.... Computer models and theoretical calculations are not evidence, they are just theory.

      "What is going to happen over the next decade as global temperatures continue not to rise? The Labor Government is about to deliberately wreck the economy in order to reduce carbon emissions. ... When it comes to light that the carbon scare was known to be bogus in 2008, the ALP is going to be regarded as criminally negligent or ideologically stupid for not having seen through it."

      The next article [sent us by a concerned citizen of Australia] illustrates the result of government control over private property through "carbon credits" -- which are justified by the supposed "global warming" crisis! I am not familiar with this website, but Mr. Spencer seems to be speaking for numerous distressed Australian farmers who are losing the right to farm their own land.

      Here in America, other "crisis" issues have been used by the government to control and limit private land use without providing compensation:  (1)"endangered species" that prove not to be endangered, (2) defining good farmland as "wet lands" though these areas are neither unusually "wet" nor needed by birds or mammals, and (3) "saving" a tiny fish by denying water to farmers in California's Central Valley -- a large rich farming area. 

Government Control. Australia: "It’s Day 43 without food, and Peter Spencer grows weaker. For those who don’t know, Peter Spencer’s farm has been stolen from him by our government through Native Vegetation Legislation — which locked up 80 – 90% of his entire farm but paid him no compensation. The regrowth on his farm holds 'carbon credits' of supposed value to the Commonwealth, yet Peter has been obliged by law to pay the rates on that land-that-holds-these-carbon-credits, and the mortgage for the right to do nothing with this land that really belongs to the Commonwealth. Is this not an extortionate tax?... Peter Spencer tried ingenious means to work within the rules. But he has been driven into bankruptcy. ... Here is a top farmer, producing the finest merino wool or high grade trout, and even prepared to set up a wind farm, but has been cut to pieces bit by bit as each legislative change robbed him and his ingenuity of every possible productive use of his property."

Look who's erasing history of climate: "...a British scientist and Wikipedia administrator rewrote climate history, editing more than 5,000 unique articles in the online encyclopedia to cover traces of a medieval warming period – something Climategate scientists saw as a major roadblock in the effort to spread the global warming message.... A major climate-change researcher told Deming, 'We have to get rid of the Medieval Warm Period.' ...Beginning in February 2003, Connolley rewrote Wikipedia entries on global warming, the greenhouse effect, the instrumental temperature record, the urban heat island, on climate models and on global cooling.... In February, he began editing the Little Ice Age. By August, he began to rewrite history without the Medieval Warm Period [described below]. In October, he turned to the hockey-stick chart." Copenhagen Climate Conference Ends With Whimper, No Legally Binding Pact, No Commitment to Pursue One in 2010: "President Barack Obama... acknowledged climate change talks failed to produce a 'legally binding' pact'.... 'It's going to be very hard and it's going to take some time,' Obama said... before he boarded Air Force One for the return flight to Washington - a journey precipitated by a massive D.C. snowstorm that required Obama to leave here before the loose accord is approved. The agreement reached is not a treaty and has no internal or external enforcement mechanism..." Thanks to God for blocking this socialist anti-Christian global management system!

Copenhagen Conference ends. Global Warming Hysteria: "Greenpeace UK executive director John Sauven said: 'The city of Copenhagen is a crime scene, with the guilty men and women fleeing to the airport. There are no targets for carbon cuts and no agreement on a legally binding treaty....' Sauven is right about the lack of agreement, but not the accusation of 'narrow self interest.' There was a great deal of rationality in this failure. And get this comment: 'WWF Scotland director Dr Richard Dixon said world leaders had failed to rise to the challenge of climate change at what had been the most important international meeting the world has ever held."

Global Socialism. ...Hugo Chavez cheered: "President Chavez brought the house down. ... When he said there was a 'silent and terrible ghost in the room' and that ghost was called capitalism, the applause was deafening. But then he wound up to his grand conclusion – 20 minutes after his 5 minute speaking time was supposed to have ended and after quoting everyone from Karl Marx to Jesus Christ - 'our revolution seeks to help all people…socialism, the other ghost that is probably wandering around this room, that’s the way to save the planet, capitalism is the road to hell....let’s fight against capitalism and make it obey us.' He won a standing ovation."

       So did Fidel Castro at the 1996 U.N. Conference on Human Settlements: The Habitat II Agenda. Communism has come a long way!

 Inconvenient truth for Al Gore as his North Pole sums don't add up: "Mr Gore, speaking at the Copenhagen climate change summit, stated the latest research showed that the Arctic could be completely ice-free in five years.... However, the climatologist whose work Mr Gore was relying upon dropped the former Vice-President in the water with an icy blast. 'It’s unclear to me how this figure was arrived at,' Dr Maslowski said. 'I would never try to estimate likelihood at anything as exact as this.'... The embarrassing error cast another shadow over the conference after the controversy over the hacked e-mails from the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit, which appeared to suggest that scientists had manipulated data....

     "Meanwhile... developing countries walked out in protest over the lack of progress on their demand for legally binding emissions targets from rich nations.... Perhaps Mr Gore had felt the need to gild the lily to buttress resolve. But his speech was roundly criticized by members of the climate science community." Gore's Vision of Global Salvation

Clinton: U.S. Ready to Join $100B Climate Aid Fund: "The United States extended a $100 billion carrot to the rest of world Thursday, when Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told reporters in Copenhagen the United States is willing to commit up to $10 billion a year by 2012, and would support a global fund of $100 billion a year to help developing nations deal with climate change, provided the nations here are willing live up to the 'transparency' demanded by the U.S.... Clinton, who is one of six cabinet members accompanying President Obama to the climate summit, said climate change 'is an undeniable and unforgiving fact.' ... Clinton urged all sides to seek common ground in the final stretch of negotiations." See Smiling at Socialism

Tony Blair calls on world leaders to ‘get moving’... even if the science is not correct: "Following the ‘climategate scandal’, Mr Blair said the science may not be 'as certain as its proponents allege'.... Famous weather scientist: Climategate 'tip of iceberg': "'The recent 'ClimateGate' revelations... are but the tip of a giant iceberg of a well organized international climate warming conspiracy that has been gathering momentum for the last 25 years,' said Colorado State University's Dr. William Gray. His are the annual hurricane forecasts that are the standard for weather prognostications. His work pioneered the science of forecasting hurricanes and he has served as weather forecaster for the United States Air Force. He is Emeritus Professor of Atmospheric Science at CSU and heads the school's Department of Atmospheric Sciences Tropical Meteorology Project....

    "One e-mail said: 'I've just completed Mike's Nature trick of adding in the real temps to each series for the last 20 years (ie from 1981 onwards) amd (sic) from 1961 for Keith's to hide the decline.' Another expressed internal doubts: 'The fact is that we can't account for the lack of warming at the moment and it is a travesty that we can't." See Saving the Earth

The Copenhagen Concoction: "...the emails demonstrate the lengths some of the world's leading climate scientists were prepared to go to manufacture the 'consensus' they used to demand drastic steps against global warming. The emails are replete with talk of blacklisting dissenting scientists and journals, manipulating peer review and avoiding freedom of information requests.... Scientific research must be subject to testing, verification and, if necessary, disproof. Otherwise, its conclusions are worthless....

     "The Earth's climate is a profoundly complex system, sensitive, dynamic and subject to a dizzying range of variables interacting in ways that remain poorly understood. Carbon dioxide is only one of those variables. Climate scientists failed to anticipate the absence of warming in the last decade, a point that Kevin Trenberth, head of the Climate Analysis Section at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, privately conceded in one of the disclosed emails was a 'travesty.'" U.N. talks open with calls for ‘immediate action’: "The largest and most important U.N. climate change conference in history opened Monday. ...the key to an agreement is finding a way to raise and channel public and private financing to poor countries for years to come to help them fight the effects of climate change." Regionalism. EU aims to raid aid budgets for climate deal: "Anti-poverty campaign group Oxfam accused European politicians on Sunday of planning to 'cannibalize' existing development aid budgets and repackage them as part of a deal to fight climate change." See The U.N. Plan For Human Settlements

Ignoring ClimateGate. Obama...Expects Climate Deal at Summit: "President Barack Obama now expects a 'meaningful' climate deal at a United Nations summit in Copenhagen, possibly involving a commitment for rich nations to provide $10 billion a year by 2012 to help developing countries fight climate change. The White House said the U.S. is prepared to pay its 'fair share' of the $10 billion." But how -- and why?

All the President’s Climategate Deniers – by Michelle Malkin: “'The science is settled,' we’ve been told for decades by zealous proponents of manmade global warming hysteria. Climategate. Climate change: this is the worst scientific scandal of our generation: "A week after my colleague James Delingpole... coined the term 'Climategate' to describe the scandal revealed by the leaked emails from the University of East Anglia's Climatic Research Unit, Google was showing that the word now appears across the internet more than nine million times. But in all these acres of electronic coverage, one hugely relevant point about these thousands of documents has largely been missed....

     "Dr Jones is also a key part of the closely knit group of American and British scientists responsible for promoting that picture of world temperatures conveyed by Michael Mann's 'hockey stick' graph which 10 years ago turned climate history on its head by showing that, after 1,000 years of decline, global temperatures have recently shot up to their highest level in recorded history. ...the graph became the central icon of the entire man-made global warming movement....

     "Since 2003, however, when the statistical methods used to create the 'hockey stick' were first exposed as fundamentally flawed by an expert Canadian statistician Steve McIntyre, an increasingly heated battle has been raging.... Climategate. Gore Should Give Back Oscar: "Two members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences have called on the group to take back the Oscar awarded to former Vice President Al Gore for the documentary 'An Inconvenient Truth.'... The academy members' request that Gore return his statue is happening as preparations are under way for next week's United Nations climate change meeting in Copenhagen, where 16,500 people from 192 countries will fly in using private jets, consume 200,000 meals, and produce an estimated 41,000 tons of carbon dioxide."

The final nail in the coffin of 'Anthropogenic Global Warming'? "The conspiracy behind the Anthropogenic Global Warming myth has been suddenly, brutally and quite deliciously exposed after a hacker broke into the computers... and released 61 megabytes of confidential files.... These alleged emails – supposedly exchanged by some of the most prominent scientists pushing AGW theory – suggest: Conspiracy, collusion in exaggerating warming data, possibly illegal destruction of embarrassing information, organised resistance to disclosure, manipulation of data, private admissions of flaws in their public claims..." University of East Anglia U-turn in climate change row: "David Holland, who describes himself as a David taking on the Goliath that is the prevailing scientific consensus, is seeking prosecutions against some of Britain's most eminent academics for allegedly holding back information in breach of disclosure laws."

Climategate: Science Is Dying: "Because 'science' said so, all the world was about to undertake a vast reordering of human behavior at almost unimaginable financial cost. Not every day does the work of scientists lead to galactic events simply called Kyoto or Copenhagen.... Meet Obama's climate 'experts': "Amid an international climate-change scandal involving hacked e-mails just days before a major U.N. climate summit of world leaders, it is instructive to profile top White House officials who are drafting President Obama's climate policy. Some of the officials include known supporters of socialism who have advocated using environmental activism to spread America's wealth.

      "'Climate czar' Carol Browner... served as administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency... during the Clinton administration.... Browner was a member of the Commission for a Sustainable World Society at Socialist International....

      "'Regulatory czar' Cass Sunstein ....maintains: 'If we care about social welfare, we should approve of a situation in which a wealthy nation is willing to engage in a degree of self-sacrifice when the world benefits more than that nation loses.'....
