Obama makes four recess appointments: "The most contentious of the appointments is Maria del Carmen Aponte, the administration's pick for ambassador to El Salvador. Senate Republicans questioned her... about a former romantic relationship with a Cuban national connected to Cuban intelligence....

     "Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) and other Republicans later placed a hold on Aponte's nomination as they sought additional information about her background. 'The White House continued to deny senators information...' Aponte... previously ran the Puerto Rican Federal Affairs Administration; and sat on the boards of the National Council of La Raza..." Obama’s Radical Guests: "...the guest list [at last week’s White House Ramadan dinner] gives some insight into what Obama really believes. ...two 'community' leaders with a radical Islamic agenda stand out. The first was Dr. Ingrid Mattson, president of the Islamic Society of North America....The second radical Islamic... guest was Salam Al-Marayati, a co-founder and director of the Muslim Public Affairs Council. ...he said that: When Patrick Henry said, ‘Give me liberty or give me death,’ that statement epitomized jihad [Islamic holy war].....Al-Marayati’s Muslim Public Affairs Council has issued policy papers which argue for the removal of Hezbollah and Hamas from U.S. terrorist designations." Obama vs. the States: "...there’s another battle brewing, one that we haven’t seen the likes of for one hundred and fifty years: the fight for states’ rights....As states like Texas continue to flex their rediscovered muscle, it will be harder and harder to dismiss opposition to the Obama agenda as a fringe reaction by few extremist, racist and probably violent right-wing nuts...." Obama's Ramadan blessing: "...we have a man in the White House who extols Islam for 'advancing justice, progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.' In blessing the Muslim holiday of Ramadan, Barack Obama added that Islam 'is a faith known for great diversity and racial equality' and that it 'has always been part of America.'...

      "Who does Obama think sold all those millions of black Africans into slavery in Europe and America? Is he not aware that black slavery is still alive in some Muslim countries in the Middle East?...

    "Tolerance? I quote: 'O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends....

    "Dignity of all human beings? In Islam, Muslim males have a higher worth than any others. A Muslim man can have up to four wives, beat them and change them as he pleases."

President Obama comes out in support of Ground Zero mosque: "Let me be clear: as a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as anyone else in this country. That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan....'

Kenya gives Obama abortion, Islamic courts: "Kenya today gave President Obama a much-wanted birthday present, voting overwhelmingly to pass a constitutional referendum that would legitimize for the first time abortions and Islamic courts in the nation. ...the Obama administration spent $23 million of U.S. Aid funds to support the 'Yes' vote in the referendum, despite congressional protests."  U.S. national security headed for 'train wreck': "An independent panel has warned that U.S. national security is headed for a 'train wreck' if decisive action isn't taken to increase the size of the Navy, improve training of U.S. military personnel and replace aging equipment used by the military services..."

More regulation-happy Obama czars: "Obama has appointed another czar from Chicago: the new food czar, Sam Kass.... Everybody laughed when Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., asked Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan if it would be constitutional for Congress to order Americans 'to eat three vegetables and three fruits every day.' Kagan declined to give a straightforward answer, maybe because she knew that exactly that type of dictatorial mandate was coming....

     "Czar Berwick is on record as saying, 'Excellent health care is by definition redistributional.' He used this favorite Obama term in the context of praising Britain's socialized medicine system as 'a global treasure.'" See Unalienable Rights?

Guess what part of the Constitution goes next! "Democrats have found yet another way to circumvent the U.S. Constitution: Bypass the Electoral College and elect a president by popular vote without first passing an amendment to the founding document...'If the National Public Vote movement succeeds...the president might be chosen by the popular vote winner in 10 or 11 of the most populous states.'"

     In these times of voter fraud and double-counting, a popular vote could easily be manipulated. Delaying military votes is only one of many ways to corrupt the results. See Unalienable Rights?

Look whose votes won't be counted ... Obama's Justice Department allegedly ignoring new laws designed to safeguard ballot accuracy: "In the wake of the Department of Justice's New Black Panther Party scandal, a second former DOJ attorney has now come forward, blasting the department for failing to protect American soldiers' right to vote. ..the DOJ's Voting Section is ignoring the new laws and may allow thousands of ballots to slip through the cracks uncounted in November."

Ruined By Red Tape: "Rules, rules, and more rules. President Obama’s fiscal year 2011 budget calls for a $59 billion regulatory explosion...with a federal phalanx of almost 284,000 regulators....This regulatory chokehold will likely bind the economy with red tape for decades to come." Obama Wants to Jail Americans with New Law: "Sparking the concern of Russian diplomats over the growing totalitarian bent of the Obama government is the planned reintroduction of what these reports call one of the most draconian laws ever introduced in a free society that is titled “The Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act.” First introduced in the US Congress in 2007... this new law passed the US House of Representatives by a secretive voice vote, but failed to pass the US Senate... [It] was embraced by Obama who became the first American President to name his own citizens as a threat to his Nations security....[It supposedly] makes the problem of home-grown terrorists a top priority because an increasing number of individuals in the US have become 'captivated by extremist ideology or causes.'

      "The Times of London is further reporting that Obama’s new National Security Strategy 'officially' ends America’s 'War on Terror' in what they call 'a sweeping repudiation of the Bush doctrine of pre-emptive military strikes.'” 

Obama's support for communism in Kenya. US accused of paying groups to boost ‘Yes’ camp support: "The Obama administration is providing about Sh50 million to 10 Kenyan groups promoting a ‘Yes’ vote in the referendum....Recipients of the funding include the Central Organisation of Trade Unions, the Kenya Muslim Youth Alliance, Christian Community Services as well as theatre groups and peace-advocacy organisations, said Representative Chris Smith....'The US is running a political campaign in Kenya.'...'US taxpayer funds should not be used to support one side or the other,' he said."

Video: Obama has criminal ties to Kenya? Indirectly Responsible for Kenyan deaths?  [Obama has] "undermined US relationships with a strong anti-terrorism ally in an African region where Al Quada operates. In 2006... Obama campaigned for a pro-communist candidate running against Nairobi's pro-American government...'"

This video dates back to 2008: Barack Obama & Raila Odinga: "Both chose the election slogan, 'Change.' Both promise to 'distribute wealth more evenly.' Both were trained by Neo-Marxists or Communists (Odinga was 'educated in communist East Germany' [1]). Both have strong ties to radical Muslims. Odinga even promised to change Kenya's constitution in order to establish Sharia law in Muslim areas. Yet both claimed to be Christians when campaigning in certain groups.
     "Obama was a political consultant for Odinga during his presidential campaign. Apparently, Odinga strategy was that if he lost, he would claim fraud and incite people to violence. In the end, 1,500 people were killed in the violence and 600,000 people lost their homes....Odinga is now the Prime Minister. Odinga claims to be Obama's cousin."

Video: Obama's collective salvation: "...my fate remains tied up with their fates... my individual salvation is not going to come about without a collective salvation for the country. Unfortunately, I think that recognition requires that we make sacrifices and this country has not always been willing to make the sacrifices that are necessary to bring about a new day and a new age."

      [Those highlighted words were repeated at least three other times, suggesting that Obama's view of salvation matches the Marxist view of collectivism, not Biblical truth.]

In Search of Islam’s Contributions: "When the White House celebrated Ramadan last September, Obama declared, 'The contributions of Muslims to the United States are too long to catalog because Muslims are so interwoven into the fabric of our communities and our country.'...The White House honored, among others, the first American Muslim congressman, Keith Ellison, who has compared Bush’s actions after 9-11 to Nazi Germany. Then there was Nashala Hearn, who won a lawsuit against her Oklahoma school district for the right to wear a hijab, the Muslim women’s traditional head covering....

    "Even Libyan President Muammar Gadhafi cheered 'all the people in the Arab and Islamic world and in Africa…[who] may have been in involved in legitimate contribution campaigns to enable [Obama] to win the American presidency.'"

Obama’s Treacherous Redirection of NASA’s Vision: "The White House has stood by NASA Administrator Charlie Bolden’s statement that Obama told him that 'foremost' among NASA’s responsibilities was finding 'a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with predominantly Muslim nations, to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science, math, and engineering.'...

     "What is the point of Obama’s directive to Bolden? It is clearly more than outreach. Obama made ample provision for that when he created an entirely new division at the State Department specifically for that very thing: outreach to the worldwide Muslim community (Ummah).....

     "As Islamic scholar Robert Spencer has explained, much of what Bolden referred to as Muslims’ 'historic contribution to science, math, and engineering' have been wildly exaggerated. Many are outright lies, fabricated 'often for quite transparent apologetic motives.' He shows that most, if not all, of the inventions and discoveries attributed to the Muslim world were actually stolen from conquered peoples, Jews and Christians."

Yet another terrorist tie to Obama White House: "The director of the White House Fellows program, Cindy S. Moelis, previously served as director of a group that granted Weather Underground terrorist organization founder William Ayers its 'public trust' award. ...in November 2001, Moelis became BPI's 'new director of education initiatives.' ....BPI describes itself as a 'vigorous advocate of equitable public schools..." Bolden denied the suggestion that he was on a diplomatic mission: "NASA Administrator Charles Bolden said... that his 'foremost' mission as the head of America's space exploration agency is to improve relations with the Muslim world. Though international diplomacy would seem well outside NASA's orbit, Bolden said in an interview with Al Jazeera that strengthening those ties was among the top tasks President Obama assigned him. Pastors as props: "President Obama was inviting pastors to his speech about immigration reform.... There was no surprise there, for clergy have been used and abused by politicians as props as long as there have been politics.... Pastor Bill Hybels of Willow Creek Church in Illinois took the stand to introduce the president.... Hybels is the driving force behind the 'seeker friendly' phenomena that essentially neutralized the evangelical church as a moral force over the last 30 years." Obama's faith: Christianity or Islam? "When speaking of the origins of Islam, why does Obama use the word 'revealed'?... One does not expect a Christian to suggest that God revealed Islam to Muhammad for the simple reason that if God did such, then Christianity is wrong....

      "Obama calls the Quran, 'the holy Quran.' Again, one does not expect a Christian to suggest that the Quran is holy.... If the Quran is holy, it should also be true – and if the Quran is true, then the Bible is incorrect.... In contrast, I have not heard Obama append the world 'holy' onto the Bible. Curiously, I have heard Obama forcefully mock the Bible.

      "...why is the Obama administration directing that ex-Muslim, Christian and firstborn son of one of the founding sheikh's of Hamas, Mosab Hassan Yousef – who has saved thousands of Israeli and Palestinian lives from Islamic suicide bombings – be extradited from the U.S. and send to Palestinian territories where he is sure to face certain death....

Hawaii elections clerk: Obama not born here Official who oversaw ballots in 2008 race says hospital birth certificate non-existent: "A college instructor who worked as a senior elections clerk for the city and county of Honolulu in 2008 is making the stunning claim Barack Obama was definitely not born in Hawaii as the White House maintains, and that a long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Obama does not even exist.... 'I was informed by my boss that we did not have a birth record [for Obama].'... At the time, there were conflicting reports that Obama had been born at the Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu, as well as the Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women and Children across town. Barack Obama's credibility hits rock bottom after oil spill and Sestak scandal: "As the President insisted to Americans that he was 'singularly focused' on staunching the flow, there was that mesmerising image on their television screens of plumes of hydrocarbons gushing relentlessly into the Gulf of Mexico.... 38 days into the Deepwater Horizon disaster, not a whole lot had been achieved....

     "When asked about the resignation of the director of the Minerals Management Service - an agency he had excoriated - he professed that 'I don't know the circumstances in which this occurred'. She had, of course, been fired."

Carville Slams Obama Over Oil Spill: "...it's unbelievable.... Carville says President Obama 'could have done' several things such as deploying people to the coast. 'They're [The people are] begging for something down here and he just looks like he's not involved in this." See Shamelessness

President in rift with reporters? "...the official pointed out how the White House provided communications and food to the Washington press corps but segregated the local media to an auxiliary room with nothing but a lone TV monitor and a pitcher of water. '"It was a disgrace,' confided the West Point official, who also admitted he was embarrassed by the episode....'If you are not White House press, they just don't care,' said a second West Point official.

    "The West Point bumbles came on the heels of Obama's visit to New York May 13 when press credentials were confirmed only hours before the president's arrival, leaving many to pass on media coverage.....Last Friday, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs... was asked whether the administration, in lieu of British Petroleum's failures in the Gulf of Mexico, 'just stands there as a spectator and hopes for the best?'" How the White House destroyed the Gulf: "Even preventing the oil from reaching shore has been a matter of talk and no action.... Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal asked the government to have the Corps of Engineers push sand into the interstices between the barrier islands as a temporary barrier to oil. It would have been relatively inexpensive and would have prevented the oil from reaching the Louisiana coastline. It was ignored. Now the oil is on the coastline. Birds, plants, frogs, fish and other creatures are dying. Fisheries will be ruined for at least two to three years after the oil is finally stopped."

     The next link shows one possible government "benefit" of the spill. It may help pass this bill:

Congress Gets Ready to Quadruple Tax on Oil: "Responding to the massive BP oil spill, Congress is getting ready to quadruple -- to 32 cents a barrel -- a tax on oil used to help finance cleanups. The increase would raise nearly $11 billion over the next decade....The tax increase is part of a larger bill that has grown into a nearly $200 billion grab bag of unfinished business that lawmakers hope to complete before Memorial Day."

Obama’s incompetence reaches new heights: "...when Obama chose his alliance with the Homosexual Lobby over containing this environmental [oil] disaster, I was speechless. You see, Dr. Jonathan Katz was hired as part of think tank to resolve the oil spill crisis, but was fired for an article written against homosexuality over a decade ago. Now, I understand that it’s Obama’s decision on who is hired for this job. But....Dr. Katz is obviously competent, being a professor of astrophysics. He was hired as a consultant to resolve a crisis, not hold public office. And it’s a crisis with the potential to cost the surrounding gulf industries billions upon billions of dollars, not to mention the devastation it will cause to sea life.

      "So why was this highly qualified individual fired? Because of a non-related article advocating his beliefs on the immorality and dangers of homosexuality. ....it’s clear the Homosexual Lobby ranks higher on the list than the livelihood of the millions who depend on Gulf of Mexico." The Fruits of Weakness by Charles Krauthammer: "It is perfectly obvious that Iran's latest uranium maneuver, brokered by Brazil and Turkey, is a ruse. Iran retains more than enough enriched uranium to make a bomb. And it continues enriching at an accelerated pace and to a greater purity.... Which is why the French foreign ministry immediately declared that the trumpeted temporary shipping of some Iranian uranium to Turkey will do nothing to halt Iran's nuclear program. Obama lawyers want more secrecy at White House: "The federal government is arguing that previous court rulings applying the Freedom of Information Act to records such as the visitor logs at the White House are incorrect, and President Obama's administration should be allowed to withhold from the public the information it chooses." FBI destroyed file on Obama's grandfather: "In response to a Freedom of Information Act request, the FBI has formally acknowledged a file existed on President Barack Obama's grandfather, Stanley Armour Dunham, that was destroyed May 1, 1997. The FBI previously released some 600 pages of the FBI file of Frank Marshall Davis, the Chicago-based journalist and poet who as a member of the Communist Party USA retired in Hawaii and befriended Dunham. Obama's TSA pick: Hire on 'ethnic diversity': "President Obama's pick to head the Transportation Security Administration long has pushed for 'ethnic diversity' as a determining factor in hiring new teams for U.S. military and intelligence agencies....

     "Obama's original pick for the TSA job, Erroll Southers, withdrew from consideration in January over Republican concern Southers would attempt to unionize TSA security agents.....

    "President Obama's counter-terrorism advisor, John Brennan, last month stated the White House is working to calibrate policies in the fight against terrorism that ensure Americans are 'never' profiled. Speaking at a question-and-answer session for Muslim law students at New York University, Brennan declared himself a 'citizen of the world.' America’s Invisible Homeless and Hungry: "The most enduring images of the Great Depression from 1929 through to the beginning of World War II for America in 1941 were those of homeless people, hobo camps, and of soup kitchens to feed the hungry. ...About the only thing one can find on the White House website with regard to homelessness are statements about the way 'green jobs' will solve the problem....

     '..."the next layer of people' were showing up; 'a rapidly expanding group of child-care workers, nurse's aides, real estate agents and secretaries who are facing a financial crisis for the first time.'...While the media reporting seems limited to official government statistics, currently citing unemployment at 9.4 percent, most observers believe that it is far closer to 17 percent and that figure would actually exceed the Depression era....

Obama Finds Ways to Keep the Faith During First Year in Office: "...sources familiar with the president's personal life say Obama remains a faithful Christian while in the White House, practicing his beliefs regularly in private with family and the aid of his BlackBerry. Obama Panders to the Feminists: "When Obama presented his multitrillion dollar budget, he declared with great fanfare that he was calling for a freeze in discretionary spending. Feminists immediately had a tantrum.... Now we learn that all feminist programs and organizations will also be exempted from the freeze....

      "...Violence Against Women project... is targeted for a 22 percent increase, an extra $117 million more than current funding, which is already close to $1 billion a year.
